Does your life feel like it's at a standstill?
Do you feel stuck,
Maybe spiritually or emotionally stuck?
Today I'd like to get into that and help you to be unstuck.
To help you get past your emotional blocks and your spiritual blocks in life and move on to know what they mean by the higher self and the lower self and how does that relate to everyday experiences that we go through.
So yesterday I had a really good day.
I only had one day off this weekend so I wanted to make the most of it.
And I got up early and the weather was great so I grabbed my skydiving gear and headed off to the drop zone kind of early and got up and got on a really good jump.
The winds were perfect,
The skies were blue which is something that skydivers absolutely love is completely blue skies where you can see everywhere.
In fact I was pointing out to a guy I was going to jump with.
I was pointing out to him and I said,
Look you can see my home.
I live in Galveston and it's right over there.
You can see my home from here.
So that's kind of cool.
Anyway,
So I went and did my jump,
Had a great jump and I talked to the guy about doing another jump with me but he had to get going and I'm like,
Well alright,
Well.
On my way out that morning I noticed that the waves were kind of building but it was really messy and disorganized so I wasn't missing anything by going jumping.
But anyway,
I got home.
I traveled back home.
It was about an hour trip for me to get back home.
And I got to the island and the waves were cleaning up and they looked good.
I mean it was like waist high and real clean and a little currenty but all in all just like outstanding conditions.
So I called my girlfriend and said,
Hey baby,
The waves are really good.
You want to go surfing?
Now in Texas the water is 51 degrees.
We just had a cold front,
A cold snap come through and it made the water really cold.
And I hate wearing gloves and boots surfing.
The boots sometimes drag against the wax as you stand to your feet.
Normally your feet can slide past the wax and land where you need them to land to have the best performance on the surfboard.
So boots and gloves kind of suck but they do do the job of keeping you warm.
So this session here I just said I'm going to tough it because there were two young people out there surfing right about where I was going to go surfing and they didn't have gloves or boots on.
And anyway,
I went out and surfed and it was cold.
I was warm in my wetsuit but the water was cold on my hands and my feet for sure.
And I lasted about 40 minutes before the waves started dying out a little bit and I was getting really chilly.
So I was like,
You know,
I've had my waves.
I probably caught like eight waves in a period of 40 minutes.
It was fun.
It was a beautiful experience.
I mean I love surfing.
Surfing is actually kind of like one of my number one things to do.
Sky diving I kind of do when there's not too many waves or if there's nothing to surf then I balance things out by going sky diving.
But anyway,
I call it a good day any day that I get to go sky diving and surfing in the same day.
When I was in my 40s I used to say to my friends I would wake up for dawn patrol real early in the morning before daybreak and get out to the beach as soon as the sun came up on the weekends.
It's mostly this would happen on a Saturday.
If everything fell into place then this is what I would do.
I'd get dawn patrol in which is like about an hour,
Hour and a half session in the water.
And then I would drive to Aikido class,
Take an Aikido class.
Then I would drive to the drop zone,
Go to the drop zone and get a jump or two in,
Turn around and come home and then try to catch the evening session in the water and surf one more time before it got completely dark.
Now that's what I call a good day.
Now the reason why I'm telling you guys this,
The reason why I'm expressing why I think is a good day is that you learn in life to do things in their totality.
If you're feeling stuck spiritually or emotionally then you're not doing things in their totality.
So as you're surfing you don't think about skydiving.
As you're surfing you absorb yourself into the surf and riding waves and everything that it's all about and enjoy that to its fullest.
And then when it's time to move on,
Just like a tantrika would say,
Be like a bee and go from flower to flower and collect the honey.
So I would enjoy my surfing,
Then I'd enjoy Aikido,
Then I would enjoy skydiving.
But each time I did these things I did them in their totality.
And that brings about the fruitfulness.
That brings about the wholeness in life.
Of course doing a dawn patrol and Aikido,
Surfing,
Skydiving and all that stuff,
I did that in my 40s.
I was a little bit younger than I am now.
And I'm not saying I had more energy,
But I did have more energy.
I'm 58 years old now,
So a little bit older.
But yeah,
If I can still skydive and surf in one day then that's just a,
Yeah to me that would have been an outstanding day.
But my life has more balance than that.
And I don't want you guys to think that I'm just this shallow surfer dude that occasionally talks about spirituality.
After a day like something like that,
Where you're doing all these great things that you love to do.
And these things that you love to do don't have to be skydiving and surfing or adrenaline based sports that push you into high highs and then you have to recover with low lows.
No,
I mean in reality,
Whatever you love to do,
Whatever ignites your fire,
Whatever floats your boat that helps you,
Maybe spending a day with your daughter or your son or your parents or anything that gives you joy.
Do it in its totality.
Do it in its fullness.
Enjoy those moments that you have with your family as precious,
Very precious moments because one day you'll realize as time goes by that you miss in life.
And missing is probably one of the worst things that can happen in life is to miss being with family or friends or miss if the weather's nice and you love skydiving,
Get your butt out there and go do it and just dive into it and put fear aside and dive into what you're doing and enjoy life and do it in its total wholeness.
And the key to spirituality is handed to you in that very second.
In spiritual talk,
In the spiritual world,
They divide the higher self from the lower self and when you're diving in and doing things that you love to do,
These things keep you grounded in life.
They keep you centered and grounded and you can make them a meditation.
Also skydiving,
Surfing,
Maybe fishing if you like fishing.
Who knows,
Whatever you love to do.
Some people love fishing,
Some people love kayaking.
There are so many different things that you can get out there and do and enjoy and learn to do in its totality.
Like I said,
That is the key.
That is the key to get you into diving into what they might call the higher self.
So the lower self we could basically categorize into three categories.
The physical,
The emotional,
And the intellectual.
And those three categories fall in line with basically the bottom three chakras in your chakra system.
And then the fourth chakra,
The key that connects the lower self to the higher self is in the heart.
It is the heart chakra.
What happens is you're tied down by gravity in anything lower than the heart.
Basically there's two laws.
There's a law of gravity and that ties you down to the earth and that keeps you grounded.
There's a specific purpose in life that if you never meditate,
If you never raise your energies up past the first three chakras,
And the first three chakras coincide with your bodies,
Your physical body,
Your emotional body,
And your intellectual body.
And yeah,
Each one of these things are a separate entity because it's something you grow into.
As your body's growing up and you're developing and blossoming in life,
You naturally grow through these lower chakras.
And then most people kind of stop between the second and the third,
Between the emotional body and the intellectual body.
And that's it.
They may grow their whole lives and they never grow any higher than that.
And they know nothing of what we call the higher self.
So anyway,
If you meditate and you raise energy and you develop the four bodies,
The physical,
The emotional,
The intellectual,
And the spiritual,
When you get energy up into the heart chakra and you raise 51% of your energy up into the heart chakra,
You activate your higher self,
The higher being that exists within you.
And then we're talking about the three chakras that are on top of the heart.
There's the throat chakra,
Third eye chakra,
And then the crown chakra.
And to access those chakras,
You basically have to keep raising energy past the spiritual body.
When you raise enough energy into the heart chakra,
That's when the most amazing thing happens.
The law of grace takes place.
Grace has levitation.
Grace is levitation.
It is raising energy upward,
Upward up into your throat chakra.
And when that activates,
All kinds of cool things start happening.
You can hear things that nobody else can hear.
You can sense things that nobody else can sense.
The throat chakra has to do with the ears and with sound and vibration.
There are many really good chakra meditations on YouTube to help raise energy into the throat chakra.
And the thing that you have to learn in life is that it's better to have these things happen in succession.
Because a lot of people go around saying,
I'd like to open my third eye chakra.
I'd like to open my third eye chakra.
And I'm like,
Well,
You've got to raise energy through your first four chakras first and develop those bodies and mature in those bodies and grow before you can have energy flowing up into the throat chakra or the third eye chakra.
So that's the difference between the higher bodies and the lower bodies,
If you guys are ever wondering what do they mean by that.
And the key between the lower body and the higher body is the spiritual body.
And the spiritual connection with the lower self is,
Could be explored through sex or through just deep states of meditation where you're spending at least 10 to 15 minutes in silence and just diving in and enjoying those things.
And then the key to the higher chakras,
To your higher body,
To your higher self is,
Again,
It's the heart chakra.
Everything below the heart has gravity pulling it downwards.
And everything above the heart has grace.
And grace is basically raising energy up so that you can experience these higher levels,
Higher levels of consciousness,
Higher levels of existence.
You become in tune with godliness,
With basically existence,
Basically communicates with you directly when you raise your energy up into the third eye chakra and the crown chakra.
And like I said,
The crown is the highest,
The highest point.
And when the crown is opened,
It's like the thousand-petaled lotus.
It's always blooming,
Always blossoming,
Always developing,
Always growing.
And it's just this continual never-ending explosion of love and gratitude.
And you pour that love and gratitude back into your friends and your family and those that you come in contact with.
They're blessed by being around you when you raise your energy up into these higher levels.
So what I want to express in the end,
In the last few words we shared today,
Is that first you have to do things in their totality.
You have to be 100% present in the moment as you do each thing that you do.
And as you do these things in totality,
That helps develop the bodies.
That helps develop your emotional well-being,
Your health.
You're just living a lot less stressful life if you're living centered in the present moment and doing everything totally or in its totality in that moment.
So amongst all this excitement of having fun and being total in everything you do,
Find the balance in your life.
Find that moment where you have serenity and peacefulness and quiet and solitude and enjoy those times too.
And dive into them and do it totally in its totality too.
Yes,
Balance is very important too in life.
If you have high highs,
Then you have to balance them out.
It's like being on a tightrope.
You lean to the left and you lean too much.
You have to lean back to the right a little bit to balance yourself out.
So find those moments of serenity and enjoy your meditation and do that in its totality.
Do everything you do in the present moment as much as possible and make that your meditation.
Make that a goal in your life that you're going to do everything you can do.
Work,
Play,
Whatever you're into in the moment.
Make that your totality and time flies by when you do that.
Time absolutely zooms by and you wonder where the time went and wonder where the day went.
