Hello and welcome to your meditation practice.
Find yourself in a comfortable seated position in a space where you will not be distracted.
And get ready to relax and call back versions of your soul that may have been fragmented.
Beginning with a long,
Slow,
Deep breath in,
Closing the eyes,
Holding the breath at the top of the lungs and exhale.
Again,
Inhale long,
Slow and deep,
Holding the breath at the top of the lungs and exhale.
Inhale long,
Deep and slow,
Holding the breath again at the top of the lungs,
Bringing your hands to prayer position in front of your heart.
And as you exhale,
Extend your palms upwards along your center line until your arms are outstretched above your head.
Breathing in and exhaling,
Releasing your arms,
Stretching them out to your side until they reach the earth beside you,
Touching,
Connecting with Pachamama.
You have now opened sacred space,
Allowing your breath to be your focus,
Allowing your hands to rest in any way that is comfortable for you.
And really bring your awareness to your breath.
Notice the inhalation and the exhalation.
Observe your own natural rhythms and anchor yourself into the relationship of your breath,
Both in and out,
In and out,
Receiving and giving,
In and out.
At times in our life,
Our soul sometimes becomes fragmented.
We sometimes feel as though we cannot fully be ourselves because we have pushed different facets,
Aspects and parts of the depth within us down away from consciousness,
Away from light,
Away from who we know ourselves to be.
Sometimes our soul seems to splinter,
Fragment and part ways.
And while the reason for these separations of the self may not be our own,
It is our responsibility to heal,
To take that back,
To call the fragmented parts of ourselves back home where they may dance and sing and integrate and become one yet again,
Finding themselves within one another yet again,
Coming back home to the wholeness of you,
Of your soul.
Visualizing yourself in this space where you are,
In your body.
See the room that surrounds you in your mind's eye,
Your third eye chakra.
Feel what is beneath you,
The clothes,
The smells.
And just as potently as you envisioned the room around you,
Begin to see this vision fade away.
Begin to see the walls,
The ceiling,
The furniture dissolve until you find yourself in an outdoor setting.
Notice the environment.
What time of day or night?
Are you surrounded by trees or mountains or water?
What season is it?
Can you reach out and touch something?
Notice the textures.
What do you smell?
What do you hear?
What animals do you see?
And finding yourself sitting down comfortably somewhere,
Perhaps by a tree or a rock or a river,
Perhaps in the middle of a clearing or atop a mountain,
Wherever you find yourself is perfect.
And as you gaze down in front of you,
You notice there are three feathers,
A gray feather,
A red feather and a blue feather.
Each of these feathers carry with them medicine that will guide you to different versions of yourself to call them back and integrate them with you.
Home once again.
The gray feather is the version of you who was never told you are not good enough.
This version of you knows how good enough they are.
The red feather is the version of you doing something that you believe is impossible.
That impossible thing.
This version of you is doing that.
And the blue represents the version of you that you never thought you were allowed to be.
Looking at these three feathers in front of you,
You place one hand on your heart,
Taking a deep breath in.
And as you exhale,
Reaching down and picking up the gray feather,
The one that represents who you thought you were not good enough to be.
And as you close your mind's eye to gaze even farther inward,
This version of you shows up.
Who is this person?
Who did you think you were not good enough to be?
What are they wearing?
What are they doing?
Watch them.
Listen to them.
Opening your mind's eye and seeing this gray feather in your hand,
Remembering this version of you and placing this gray feather on your chest and feeling it dissolve into you,
Integrating into the entirety of your soul.
Feeling the tingling sensation of a newly absorbed version of you.
Looking down and seeing the red feather in front of you,
Picking it up.
And as you hold it,
You close your mind's eye and you see this version of you doing something that you feel is impossible.
In front of you,
They stand.
What are they wearing or doing or saying?
Who are they?
What do they think is impossible?
What are their hopes and dreams?
Watch them.
Notice them.
Observe them.
Taking a deep breath in and opening your mind's eye,
Seeing this red feather yet again,
Placing this red feather on your chest to allow this other part of you to integrate this wonderful version of you that is doing something you think is impossible.
And take a deep breath in and see the blue feather,
The one that represents the version of you you didn't think you were allowed to be.
You pick up this blue feather and place it in your hand.
And as you hold this blue feather,
You close your mind's eye,
Allow your gaze to drift deeper in you and you see this version of yourself,
The one you thought you were never allowed to be.
Who is this person,
This version of you?
What are their hopes and dreams and fears?
Listen,
Watch and observe who this person is.
Opening your mind's eye,
Your inner eye and seeing this blue feather,
Placing it on your heart and making sure,
Bringing both hands up to your heart space now,
One on top of the other as this blue feather fades into and integrates into you,
To your heart,
To yourselves.
And gazing inward,
Seeing all of these versions of you dancing,
Singing and playing,
Knowing that they are always within you.
They are you.
And as you look around you,
You see that natural space looking at the environment around you.
And slowly but surely,
You begin to see the space that you were in originally,
The walls and the ceiling and the furniture all coming back into place.
And as you sit in this space,
Eyes still closed,
Feeling these versions of you dancing,
Singing and laughing and playing,
Tapping into your soul and asking your soul,
What is the common thread between these three versions of myself?
What is the common thread between all of these different versions of me?
Listen for your soul to answer.
Listen.
Listen and breathe.
Inhale and exhale.
Thank your soul for speaking with you,
Allowing this new awareness of the common thread between all of these versions of you to come forward,
To share itself.
Breathing in and breathing out.
With both hands on your heart,
Listen to these words.
You have everything you need to do or be anything you hope and dream of at home.
All that you need to take your first step is in this now present moment.
You are worthy of your dreams.
You are lovable.
You are kind.
You are deserving in every way.
Taking a deep breath in,
Feeling the ground beneath you and allowing you,
All of you,
All of these versions of you,
Your soul,
Even your ego,
Your body,
Your heart and your mind.
The soul of your body,
The soul of your heart,
The soul of your mind,
The soul of all of your souls.
Allow them to ground into Pachamama,
Placing your hands on the earth in front of you,
Beside you,
Next to you.
Breathing in,
Feeling the ground beneath you,
Feeling supported,
Feeling held and nurtured.
And spreading your arms wide,
Allowing yourself to ground upwards,
Raising your hands above your head and feeling yourself held by great spirit,
By the heavens,
By the universe,
By God,
Allah,
Krishna,
Shakti,
Shiva,
Buddha,
Jesus.
Science.
Your higher power is unique to you.
Whatever that may be,
Feel held from above,
Pulled up,
Liberated.
Coming back into your body,
Into this moment,
Taking one final deep breath in here.
And when you're ready,
Opening your eyes.
Thank you for taking time to sit with you,
To sit with all of you,
To sit with me,
To sit with Pachamama,
With great spirit,
Great mystery,
To sit with this now moment and all previous now moments.
I encourage you to take out your journal and spend some time writing about these versions of you.
Perhaps give them a voice.
Maybe ask them to write you a letter.
These versions of you have always been inside of you.
You are the common thread.
Namaste.
Miigwech.
Ajo.
