We are going to talk about three ways a regular meditation practice can build your confidence as an entrepreneur.
So grab your smoothie or cup of tea and join the conversation.
Let's go.
Number one,
Self-awareness.
Self-awareness.
When you cultivate self-awareness,
You will become more aware of the thoughts that you choose to accept about yourself.
You get to choose the thoughts that you accept about yourself.
You have free will.
You have a choice.
And so how can you really do that?
Well,
You can just right now as you're listening to this podcast,
Just take a look around your surroundings,
At yourself.
What are you doing right now?
You know,
What can you hear other than the sound of my voice?
Can you hear some birds outside?
Can you hear your chewing if you're eating something?
Are you popping your knuckles?
Or you are just walking around.
What do you hear?
How do you feel?
How's your body in relation to everything that's going on around you?
Do your joints feel tight?
Are you loose?
Do you feel just,
You know,
Are you ready to take on the world?
How are you feeling right now?
All of that.
Learning how to take notice of yourself,
Being aware of yourself in relation to everything that is around you.
That is one way that you can use meditation to bring more confidence to you as a entrepreneur slash business owner.
When you meditate,
It's becoming,
You're becoming more aware of where you are.
Your meditation lifestyle should be you.
You should be that lifestyle.
It's,
Yes,
Great to sit in a corner,
Be quiet,
But also you can walk.
You can think on a word,
A pleasant word.
You can focus on gratitude.
Just being aware of your surroundings.
That is all.
It has everything to do with meditation,
Okay?
So the second way a regular meditation practice can build your confidence as a entrepreneur is having a new stress perspective.
Meditation changes your perspective of what stress really is and its effects on your body.
So when you start meditating,
Whether it's a walking meditation,
You're sitting down,
You're in silence,
Whatever you are doing,
Meditation changes your perspective of what stress really is.
Because if you look at the science,
You don't have to take my word for it,
You look at the science,
Meditation can switch.
It's like taking a switch,
Your light switch,
And it can switch some great things back on into your thought processes.
People,
Studies have shown that people are more clear and they can think more clearly.
They are just,
Their body is more loose.
They feel more grounded.
They don't freak out as much.
Maybe something that bothered you in the past starts to no longer bother you.
You look at the thing different.
You have a different,
You have a new perspective.
You don't fly off the handle like you used to.
You're actually more chill than what you used to.
So it can bring that new perspective,
That new stress perspective.
And whenever you are in a low-level stress response,
You know your cortisol levels can increase,
Your insulin levels,
Your body can do all sorts of things.
Instead of letting go of the weight that you're trying to lose.
If you're you want to go the food route,
We can bring the food into it.
You know,
Your body starts holding on to that weight.
Number three,
Add calm.
Meditation adds calm and relaxation for your overall mental health and well-being.
So I'll tell you just personally,
Meditation has really helped my life and helped me to keep moving forward no matter what things have come my way.
Meditation has been a game-changer and it will be for you as well.
So are you ready to begin your meditation lifestyle?
It has already begun.
Meditation is a tool you can use to live more mindfully one day at a time.
So it's been a pleasure connecting with you.
Again,
Meditation is here.
It deepens your connection with yourself.
It's a great mindful practice that you can add to your wellness toolkit that will help improve your mental health and well-being.
To be that best version of yourself as an entrepreneur.
Remember,
Patience is key when you do any new thing.
So give yourself some grace,
Alright?
Until next time,
Learn to love and learn to serve.
Bye for now.
