Welcome to this Life Illumined meditation based on the teachings of Sri Ramana Maharshi. This is Jamen Moss. My intention is to help guide you toward inner stillness through the method of Self-Inquiry. In this space, we tune into the Self through witnessing and affirmation, the source of happiness, peace, bliss, and love. As Ramana Maharshi said, "Let what comes come. Let what goes go. Find out what remains." May you live life illumined.

Welcome.

Find a comfortable position,

Either sitting or lying down,

And allow yourself to settle in.

As you begin to centre,

Bring your attention to the breath.

Notice as you take a deep breath in,

Settling into your space,

And slowly exhale out your mouth.

Breathing in,

And feeling yourself becoming more and more relaxed as you breathe out.

Bringing your attention and awareness to this moment.

Feeling the subtle sensation of the breath,

And the awareness of the entire body.

Receiving and releasing.

As we give up thinking of outward objects,

And prevent our mind from going outwards,

Turning inward,

Fixing on the self,

The self alone will remain.

As I repeat these phrases,

Allow your mind to simply receive.

Allow them to pass through your consciousness,

Remaining in this energetic awareness.

I am not the room I am in.

I,

This body,

I am observing physical form.

I am not even my face.

I am not my thoughts.

I am not my emotions.

I am observing all thoughts,

And all emotions,

Like passing clouds in the sky of awareness.

Who am I?

Who am I?

I am not the thought I.

Who I am is beyond the thought that is answering.

I am beyond the answer,

Resting in stillness,

Abiding in silence.

I am that I am.

I am free as the witness of all things.

I am pure awareness,

Peace,

And happiness.

Silence is truth.

Silence is bliss.

Silence is peace.

Silence is the self.

The feeling of limitation is the work of the mind.

Your true nature is that of infinite spirit.

Aum Shanti.
