Hello,

My name is Jan Bond.

Welcome to my short meditation that is going to help and set a precedence for us to gain a much better quality of sleep,

Where we can heal ourselves,

Heal our bodies and our minds with this.

Put yourself into a comfortable place,

Whether it be on your bed or sofa or a comfortable yoga mat on the floor,

Whatever works for you.

Now enable yourself to get into a state or a focused level of relaxation.

It's a focused intent.

Lay on your back.

Have your arms away from your body,

Preferably with the palms facing upwards.

Allow your feet to drop out.

Make sure your head has a support so that your neck doesn't feel it's got any pressure connected to it.

Now simply take a breath in through your nose.

Let the breath go slowly from your mouth.

Once again,

Breathing in through your nose.

Releasing from your mouth.

Now allow the breath to find it's own natural rhythm.

We'll continue to set the right pace for your body to relax and let go.

Just allow your eyelids to close down over your eyes.

Feel yourself shifting and settling into comfortability.

Good,

Now just an anticipation for the rest of your body to simply let go,

To just simply be.

All the while your breath continues.

As you breathe in,

You're taking in life force.

Which moves up through the back of your nose.

All the way down the back of your throat.

Down into your body.

Feel the body noticeably shift down.

And then as you let the breath go,

You find yourself going even deeper into a sense of release.

Deeper into a sense of peacefulness.

Again,

A lovely anticipation for relaxation.

Let that anticipation move from the top of your head.

Down over your face.

Relaxing your face and your head.

Through your neck and shoulders.

Simply melt down further into the support behind you.

Your entire spine,

Your back,

Lower back,

Buttocks and hips.

Melting down.

And the breath continues to come.

And go.

Moving,

Healing breath energy.

Moving down through your body.

It's a gentle flow of love energy.

Helping us to deeply and permanently heal our own bodies and minds.

When we accept and allow,

Every one of us has the ability to heal ourselves.

Healing while we sleep and relax.

Again,

Allowing your focus to go back to your breath.

A sense of natural nourishment.

And the exhale of any and all tensions,

Stresses on your body.

That wonderful healing softness now flows down over your chest.

Nothing rushed here.

It's just a soft,

Gentle flowing,

Wonderful pace with your breath.

As your relaxation moves over the chest itself.

And descends gently and slowly towards the stomach.

In through the entire lower body.

Flowing,

Healing.

Flowing.

This gentle healing continues.

You might notice that your mind and body drift down even heavier.

Calmer.

Inhale.

Just allow it to pause.

Deeper and calmer.

More and more relaxed as you drift into a wonderful state of stillness.

A wonderful state of peacefulness.

Your mind begins its quietening process.

You simply allow any and all thoughts to just drift on by.

Any thoughts that may come up.

Just let them go.

Because right now,

They don't need to be clogging up your mind.

They don't need to come into your dreamy relaxation.

This is your time now.

Your time to fully let go.

As your legs and your feet.

And as your arms and your hands sink down into that deliciousness.

Of wonderful softness.

Deep,

Deep calmness.

Until your entire body has relinquished itself into that sense of release.

Sense of having let go.

Of just being.

Deeply,

Floatingly into your levels of wonderfulness.

And right now,

Not only your body but your mind begins to float.

Float and drift.

Namaste.
