Hi and thank you for joining me.

When we breathe,

We breathe naturally.

It's something we have to do in order to survive.

But when we stop and pause and we control our breathing,

It can be such a natural and freeing feeling,

Allowing us a break from the tension and stress that we have in that moment.

When we take a proper breath,

A deep breath in,

Filling our stomach,

Extending our stomach,

And just filling all of the tummy,

And then holding that breath and breathing out,

Exhaling,

We allow some of our tension inside of us to go with every exhale,

And it's such a freeing feeling.

We don't tend to like to extend our stomach and fill it with the air because we as human beings like to hold everything in,

Hold our stomachs in.

And in this exercise,

We don't want to do that.

We want to love ourselves and love our body and allow our body to go through this exercise,

This freeing feeling and not be judged.

There is just you,

And you deserve to feel good.

So I invite you to breathe with me.

We breathe in through our nose,

Filling our stomach,

Extending our stomach,

And we hold that breath.

And then we breathe out through our mouth,

Allowing that exhale to release our inner demons,

Our inner negative thoughts,

All of the unpositive energy that we have in our body.

Let's try that again.

This time,

Let's close our eyes or lighten your gaze and let's think about how we're breathing.

Focus on the breath and how it's coming in through your nose,

In down through your chest,

And down to the pit of your stomach,

And filling your stomach with all of that air.

So I invite you to close your eyes or lighten your gaze.

Take a deep breath in,

Filling your stomach,

Extending it,

Hold that breath,

And take it and breathe out.

Exhaling all of that air in your stomach and taking the negativity with it.

Now,

Let's try that again.

Take a deep breath in,

Filling that stomach with all of that air,

Pushing it out as far as it will go and filling it.

Hold that breath and exhale through the mouth,

Releasing all of that tension.

This time,

I invite you to keep your eyes closed or your gaze lightened and your feet firmly on the ground,

Feeling the ground with the bottom of your feet.

You are planted solid with the ground.

And now I invite you to take a deep breath in,

Filling your stomach,

Extending it.

It's going to burst,

So let's hold it for a minute here.

And exhale,

Releasing all of the negative energy.

I invite you to open your eyes slowly.

And how are you feeling now?

More relaxed,

I hope?

Thank you for joining me today.

I hope that this exercise is something that you will remember and be able to take with you and use throughout your day.

Have a wonderful day,

A wonderful evening,

And enjoy breathing.

Take care.
