Hello and welcome.

I'm so glad you're here today with me.

In this short talk,

I want to offer some reflections on balance,

Something many of us are navigating in different areas of our lives,

Whether that's in our relationships,

Health,

Finances,

Or even the way we nourish ourselves.

What I've learned and continue to learn is that balance isn't about getting everything perfect.

It's about creating space to live from presence,

To live from compassion.

Something that helps me when I'm feeling out of balance is to notice the parts of me that want to swing into extremes,

Whether that's being all-in with a certain lifestyle or being too hard on myself for not doing enough.

Those extremes tend to come from fear,

Fear of not being in control,

Fear of not being good enough,

Or sometimes even a quiet self-judgment that I haven't fully forgiven myself for in the past.

It's natural to want structure,

To want to do better,

But when we grip too tightly,

We can lose the ability to breathe through life.

Healing,

Growing,

Evolving,

These things don't need to be heavy or stressful.

We're not here to live life constantly trying to heal ourselves.

We're here to live,

And through living,

The healing happens.

So I'd love to share a few ways balance has been showing up in my own life lately.

In case any of it resonates with you.

When it comes to physical health and eating,

I find it helpful to shift the focus away from how food will make me look,

And instead gently ask myself,

How will this food make me feel?

I allow myself to enjoy what I love in moderation,

And I listen to how my body feels before,

During,

And after eating.

It's less about following a rule,

And more about tuning into my body's inner guidance,

When it's hungry,

What it's craving,

And when it's had enough.

With money,

I've started practicing a sense of trust,

Trusting the flow of it,

The coming and the going.

I try not to overthink every decision,

But instead meet my finances with mindfulness and grace.

Money isn't the only form of abundance.

It's a tool that supports us in living more fully,

Not something that has to limit us.

And in relationships,

Balance has looked like softening into the gray areas.

Instead of feeling the need to completely distance myself from others,

I ask myself,

How much of my energy feels right to give?

What boundaries support my peace?

It's not always easy,

And it takes practice,

But I'm learning to trust myself more through this.

And that includes trusting my ability to show up with love,

And to protect my own energy when needed.

There's no one right way to be in balance,

And there's no need to be perfect about it.

Wherever you are in your journey,

You're allowed to breathe,

To feel,

And to simply be.

Thank you for being here with me today.

I hope this gave you a little more permission to soften into your own version of balance.

Namaste.
