I would like to provide an introductory overview of our body's energy circulation system and describe how it is possible to physically connect with specific pathways of energy flow to help heal various symptoms that manifest in the body and help calm the mind and emotions.

Energy circulates continuously throughout the body in a 24-hour cycle,

Building,

Repairing,

And protecting it.

Whenever energy is flowing uninterrupted,

Without any disturbance,

Vibrant health and emotional equilibrium are yours.

However,

If there is a disruption in your energy circulation due to daily eating habits,

Lifestyle,

Working conditions,

Too dry or too damp living environment,

Mental and emotional anxieties,

Or accidents causing physical injury,

Your energy circulation may decrease,

Stagnate,

Or deviate,

Resulting in chronic health issues.

The energy circulation system is our blueprint of the physical body.

Energy becomes matter.

Energy is the cause and the body is the effect.

Energy does not come from our bodies,

It flows through our bodies.

We are receptacles of life energy.

In the beginning,

At the initial level,

Feminine energy from Mother Earth is flowing up the back of the body with the inhale and masculine energy from Fatherly Heavens is descending down the front with the exhale.

Human,

Being in the middle,

Mirrors the elements and characteristics of the Earth and Cosmos.

Whenever the feminine energy rising up the back has been struggling or disharmonized for an extended period of time,

It will accumulate on the back of the body,

Below the waist.

When the masculine energy descending down the front has been struggling or disharmonized for an extended period of time,

It will accumulate in the front,

Above the waist.

When considering energy anatomy,

Imagine standing with your hands raised towards the heavens.

Your diaphragm,

Positioned midway between your fingertips and toes,

Is the energy equator,

The dividing line between above and below.

As above,

So below.

At the most simple level,

Disharmonies that have manifested above the diaphragm,

Such as headaches,

Pulmonary issues,

Or cardiac conditions,

Indicate that energy is struggling above and needs to descend for balance.

Conversely,

Any disharmonies that manifest below the diaphragm,

Swollen ankles,

Restless legs,

Elimination issues,

Or reproductive projects,

Is energy that is struggling below and needs to rise upward.

At the second phase of energy flow,

The central energy channel,

Flowing up the back and down the front,

Splits into two,

Similar to the process of mitosis,

Where one cell splits into two.

So there is one pathway on the left side of the body,

Flowing up the back and down the front,

And there's another pathway on the right side of the body,

Flowing up the back and down the front.

These left and right energy circulation patterns also reflect the duality inherent in our energy system.

One side is masculine,

Or releasing energy,

The energy of generation,

And the other side is feminine,

Or absorbing energy,

The energy of regeneration.

These generating and regenerating energies,

Now flowing through our left and right hands,

Can be utilized as jumper cables.

We can connect our hands to specific areas of the body,

Either our own or someone else's,

To help energy move up and down more efficiently along the pathways that feed life into our organs and tissues,

Releasing built-up tension and fostering balance.

As we apply our hands as energy jumper cables,

We direct our awareness to the pulse and listen.

We'll explore this hands-on pulse listening practice in more detail later.

Now we're at the third phase of energy unfolding.

Here we have a mediator energy circulation pattern,

Mediating the relationship between our left and right sides.

Similar to the corpus callosum in the brain,

Which allows left and right hemispheres to communicate,

Our mediator energy pathway flows back and forth between the left and right sides of the body,

Helping to keep masculine and feminine energy in balance.

The above three phases are referred to as the trinity.

Now we're at the fourth phase of energy unfolding.

Now we have a container to pour in the stardust that builds our physical bodies.

The central energy channel that connects us between heaven and earth,

We'll call our cosmic umbilical cord,

Has bisected into left and right,

And then mediated left and right side together,

And is now ready to begin individualizing into the twelve major organ energy functions,

Or meridians.

The stardust that infuses these twelve major organ energies are the twelve astrological zodiac,

And they unfold and flow in a precise,

Logical order.

There are twelve major organ energy pathways on the left side of the body,

And there are twelve major organ energy pathways on the right side of the body.

These twelve kinds of body function energy circulate continuously throughout the body in a 24-hour cycle,

In sync with the sun,

Leo,

The heart meridian,

Being strongest at high noon.

As this twelve organ energy pattern circulates throughout the body,

It moves from surface to core and back to surface,

Encompassing all tissues of the body.

We'll cover these twelve major organ energy functions,

Their astrological correspondences,

Cyclical patterns,

Associated attitudes,

And their meridian pathways,

As well as various other characteristics and attributes in more detail in the Meridian Theory course.

For now,

Let's talk a little bit more about the application of our hands as jumper cables,

And the profound meditative healing practice of pulse listening.

As energy flows throughout the body,

It encounters areas designed to safeguard against disharmony.

We can call these areas safety energy locks,

Areas where energy lock for safety.

Like reservoirs or dams,

These areas store disharmonized energy.

The energy locks on the back of the body,

Or the lateral outsides of the arms and legs,

Help energy flow up the back.

The energy locks that are on the front side of the body,

Or the medial inside aspect of the legs and arms,

Help energy flow down the front.

These areas are commonly referred to as pressure points or trigger points,

But their true magic is realized through mindful pulse listening,

As opposed to the amount of pressure being applied.

The quality,

Texture,

And rhythm of the pulse reflects where energy circulation is stagnant or out of balance.

In addition to being a method of information gathering,

Pulse listening can also be a simple and profound healing practice to restore equilibrium and revitalize the body.

You don't have to know how electricity works in order to turn the lights on,

You just need to know where the switch is.

When we apply our hands as cosmic jumper cables to two safety energy locks,

We're simply listening to the pulse,

And observing if these areas are beating in rhythm with each other,

Or noticing if they're out of harmony.

It is possible that when you first connect with two safety energy locks,

You may not feel a pulse,

Or you may feel a pulse in one hand,

But not the other.

Or maybe you feel a pulse in both hands,

But they are beating out of rhythm,

Back and forth between left and right.

We simply remain connected,

And meditate on the pulse until both areas are beating in rhythm with each other,

With a gentle,

Easy quality.

This may take 2 minutes,

Or 20 minutes.

Be patient.

All things are lawful,

Not all things are expedient.

There are specific holds,

And sequences of holds that focus on each organ energy pathway and various other energy functions.

Employing the breath is also key in this meditation practice.

Slow,

Gentle,

Deep breathing,

With a slight emphasis on exhaling completely,

And emptying your lungs.

There is no recipe for counting breaths,

Or pausing in between inhales and exhales.

There are no techniques to get right or wrong.

We are being breathed by the cosmic source of abundant life energy,

And the more you empty your lungs,

The more fresh,

Abundant breath you can receive.

When you get to the bottom of your exhale,

Breathe out just a little bit more,

And you may be surprised that you can still breathe out a little bit more.

Empty your lungs completely,

And then slowly,

Gently,

Receive a deep,

Complete breath,

And repeat.

Repetition is key,

With both the deep,

Complete breathing cycles,

And with a daily jumper cabling practice to harmonize the rhythm of the pulse.

The body is continually regenerating itself.

The time it takes for different body tissues to regenerate depends on the type of tissue and its state of health or disease.

Healthy skin regenerates in about two weeks.

Your fingernails take around six months.

Bones take around ten years to regenerate,

And other organs and tissues within various lengths of time.

Essentially,

Every ten years,

You have a new body.

The daily practice of jumper cabling your energy circulation system and harmonizing the pulse can yield profound,

Accumulative results.

This practice also diminishes feelings of helplessness.

Imagine visiting a loved one in a hospital who is experiencing heart complications or lung issues.

Instead of feeling powerless,

If you know the energy locks and meridian pathways associated with these functions,

You can lend two helping hands and amplify the flow of healing energy.

Health is literally in your hands.
