Welcome.
Today we'll have a unique experience in which we dive into the depth of existence and experience the singularity of life itself.
So let's begin by taking an easy meditation posture with the spine straight,
Ideally.
It's okay to lay down if we wish,
But perhaps better to sit straight with the spine vertical,
Yet relaxed.
The chin can be slightly tucked,
And the eyes may be closed.
And we'll start by becoming aware of the breath,
And noticing the quality of the breath,
How it moves in and out of the body.
And with every moment that passes,
We'll allow the mind to rest on the cloud of the breath.
With every breath,
The mind begins to relax more and more,
And the daily high-speed chatter of the mind starts to be turned down in its volume.
We breathe in and out,
Perhaps through the nose,
Very easily.
We notice any body sensations or emotions or feelings we might be holding onto from before beginning,
And we release them,
Like releasing a balloon.
And then we bring our attention back to the breath.
We allow ourselves to be moved by the breath,
Relinquishing any control or desire to have to constrict anything about our experience.
And now in the mind's eye,
With every breath,
We begin to become more and more aware of the vastness inside of us.
In the mind's eye,
We can imagine the universe existing inside of our chest.
We can see the movement of planets and stars,
The almost imperceptible spinning of galaxies,
The emptiness of space.
And as we look further,
We see that there is no end to this space inside of us.
And we start to see how we are this infinite.
With every breath,
We become the pulsation of the universe,
That physicists now say they can detect.
We may even hear the primordial Aum of the universe itself reverberating inside of us.
We effortlessly look around us,
And though there is so much space,
We feel so complete.
Within this spaciousness,
We also feel an infinite fullness.
Despite all of the space in this universe,
It is thick like honey,
And we realize this is love.
And we relax even further into this love substance,
As we are embraced by the oneness of existence,
The purity of creation,
And the perfection of all that is,
That surrounds us,
And is also what we are made of.
With every breath,
We feel ourselves as the infinite universe.
In our mind's eye,
We again look around and see the stars and planets and space,
And start to know those things as us,
The imperceptible spins of a planet,
The infinitesimal dust that we may perceive as the dust from a distant star.
And we notice how everything is in creation or in creation.
Everything is growing or dying,
And it is all made of the same stuff.
With every breath,
We realize how we are this creation matrix,
And it crosses our mind that truly anything is possible.
For a moment,
We may think about our life back here on Earth,
And about a situation or a relationship that might be challenging for us,
And then we remember who we truly are.
We go back to our inner sight as ourselves,
As the universe,
And the infinitude of time and space,
The dance between the vastness of space and the fullness of love.
We experience ourselves as the infinite and the eternal.
We know ourselves as the purity and the infinitude of love,
And we experience a natural and effortless quality of gratitude for being in awe about how everything moves so perfectly.
We notice how everything is in perfect balance.
A star has exploded which forms planets and new stars.
The gravity from a distant black hole creates an entire system around it,
And we realize that the end of all things in this universe as a black hole creates life around it.
Just a small example,
Of the magnitude and majesty that life is in its creation and decreation.
And we see humbly that we are that.
We are the movement of the stars,
The stillness and the vastness of space,
And the simultaneous thickness of the infinity of love.
For this awareness,
We humbly and simply bow,
Knowing that at any moment throughout our days or our nights,
We can breathe in to the universe inside with gratitude.
