Welcome.
My name is Joachim,
Or J if you prefer,
And I will be leading you into a positive visualization meditation.
Take a moment to arrive in the space,
Just make sure that you feel comfortable.
And try to find a position for your body that you know you will be able to keep for a while.
Whether that's sitting down or laying down,
Whatever feels good to you.
And then just take a moment to tune in to what it's like to be you right now.
What is it you feel?
What does your body feel like?
And before we begin,
I want to remind you to always take care of yourself.
You know best what you need.
And so everything I say,
Everything I invite you to,
Just take a moment to check in with yourself if that's what you truly need.
And if not,
Feel free to modify the request so that it suits your needs.
I trust you to,
At all times,
Do what is best for you.
And then take a deep breath in through the nose,
And out through the mouth.
And then I invite you to gently close your eyes and focus your attention inward.
And take a moment to feel the weight of your body against the chair,
Against the floor,
Or whatever other surface is supporting you right now.
Just take a moment to really tune into that sense of weight feeling the gravity of the earth pull you down.
And see if you can allow yourself to sink in just a bit deeper.
Can you become a bit heavier?
And then let go of this sensation of weight.
And now focus your attention on the space around you,
The sensation of the space around you as you sit here.
And notice if any thoughts come up,
If any feelings come up,
If any sensations arise.
And just welcome them.
Notice that they are there.
And then let them go and come back to the sense of space around you.
And now imagine that this space around you is a space of possibility.
Anything can happen.
Anything is possible.
And now I invite you to bring to mind a situation or a place or a plan that brings up some tension in you,
Or some anxiety,
Or some worry.
And take a moment to be with that feeling,
Be with the tension,
Be with the worry.
Without judgment,
Just allowing it to be there.
Not needing to change it.
And remember that whatever is there comes up because that part of you wants you to be safe.
It wants to protect your well-being.
And so the worries and the fears come up to make sure that you are prepared for whatever potential situation in the future.
And take a moment to be grateful for those parts of you that want to keep you safe.
And now imagine,
In this potential future scenario,
What if things go better than you can imagine?
What if everything works out perfectly fine?
What if this future situation brings you exactly what you desire and what you need?
And really take a moment to project yourself into that situation of feeling what it's like if everything happens in the best possible way.
And then,
When you really feel how good this future situation can be,
Now I invite you to tell yourself,
I can have that.
Just say it with me,
Take a deep breath in,
And then say out loud,
I can have that.
And again,
Deep breath in,
And say,
I can have that.
And one last time,
Deep breath in,
And then take a moment to come back to yourself,
To come back to the feeling of what it's like to be here and now in this moment.
Maybe you start hearing things around you,
Maybe you feel some air on your skin.
And when you feel ready,
I invite you to open your eyes.
And then gently take a moment to allow yourself to fully return to this reality,
Resting in the feeling and the knowledge that things may truly work out for the best.
