Hello and welcome to this meditation to awaken your creativity.
My name is Jo Pearson and I'm very much looking forward to guiding you on this journey today.
This meditation to awaken our creative center,
Our sacral chakra,
Will focus on the bottom two chakras.
We'll initially work on the root chakra because if we don't ensure this chakra is unblocked and working properly it affects the sacral chakras ability to function and blocks our creativity and our creative flow.
Our root chakra is our connection to the earth and our foundation and it's located at the bottom of our tailbone and is associated with the color red and the seed sound LAM.
Our sacral chakra is our creative center,
Our creative force and shows us how we are to live and share our passion,
Our dreams and desires with others.
Our sacral chakra is located about three finger widths below our navel and is associated with the color orange and its seed sound is VAM.
We'll be using the color and the seed sound for each chakra.
I'll guide you to each one as we get there.
So let's do our short meditation to awaken our creativity using these two bottom chakras.
I invite you to get yourselves comfortable,
This can be in a seated position or it can be lying down,
Whatever feels right to you in this present moment.
Take a few moments to just make sure you're comfortable so that you can fully focus on the process we're about to embark on.
When you're comfortable I invite you to close down your eyes and we'll take a few deep breaths in through the nose and out through the nose,
In through the nose and out through the nose.
More,
In through the nose and out through the nose.
Just noticing each breath,
Each in breath and each out breath and allowing your breathing to return to its normal natural rhythm now.
Just focus on the sensations on your nostrils,
Now the in breath is slightly cooler than the out breath.
Also becoming aware of the pause at the top and bottom of each breath,
That moment at the top and bottom of each breath,
That space that's created,
Just natural breathing,
Our natural rhythm,
That moment of stillness that exists within each breath that you take.
Feeling your tummy rise and fall with each breath.
If it helps you can place your hands there,
So you can feel the rise and fall of your tummy.
Breathing in,
Tummy rise,
Breathing out.
In and out.
And in and out.
Following your natural rhythm.
Now I'd like you to gently bring your attention to your root chakra located at the bottom of your spine.
See a bright red wheel at this location at the bottom of your spine,
At your tailbone.
See a bright red wheel at the bottom of your tailbone.
With each in breath,
Notice that this wheel slowly begins to turn in a clockwise direction.
Keep breathing as you focus on this bright red spinning wheel.
Bright red spinning wheel spinning in a clockwise direction is your root chakra awakening.
Located at your tailbone,
Just focus on that bright red spinning wheel,
Spinning clockwise.
It's your connection to the earth,
It's your foundation.
Just spinning red in a clockwise direction,
In a beautiful natural rhythm.
And if you'd like to,
You can silently repeat LAM.
As you're watching this wheel gently spinning,
Activating your root chakra.
LAM.
Bright red spinning wheel,
LAM.
This sound carries the vibration of the root chakra,
Enabling it to function effectively.
Ensure that you are grounded and rooted to the earth,
At one with the earth.
Continuing to gently breathe in and out,
Watching the bright red wheel spinning.
If you're using the sound,
Repeating it silently to yourself.
After your next full breath,
I would like you to release the sound and the image of the red wheel spinning,
The bright red wheel spinning.
Continuing to breathe in a steady rhythm,
In and out through your nose.
As you do so,
I would like you to gently move your attention to your sacral chakra,
Located about three finger widths down from your navel.
You can place your hands in that position if it helps.
Continuing to breathe in your natural rhythm,
And as you do so,
I want you to see in your mind's eye a bright orange wheel spinning in this location,
At the location of your sacral chakra,
Just below your navel.
And this bright orange wheel is spinning in a clockwise direction,
Activating your creativity,
Your creative flow.
And with each in-breath,
Notice this wheel continuing to turn in a clockwise direction.
Keep breathing as you focus on this bright orange spinning wheel,
Rotating clockwise in a nice steady rhythm that's matched with your breathing.
Keep your focus on this bright orange spinning wheel,
Located at your sacral chakra.
Know,
Understand,
This is the center of your creativity.
This is how you activate your creative flow.
If you'd like to also introduce the sacral chakra seed sound,
You can begin to silently repeat to yourself,
VAM.
VAM.
This is the seed sound of the sacral chakra and carries its creative vibration.
Continuing to breathe in and out,
Watching this orange spinning wheel,
And if you're using the sound,
Gently and silently to yourself,
Repeating VAM.
VAM.
Watch the bright orange wheel spinning in a nice steady rhythm.
VAM.
Breathing in,
Conscious of your stomach rising and falling in a natural rhythm in line with your orange wheel,
Spinning clockwise.
Nice steady rhythm.
VAM.
VAM.
To your next full breath,
I'd like you to release VAM and the image of the orange clockwise spinning wheel.
Your attention fully back onto your breath,
Noticing again those sensations that the breath creates on your nostrils.
Slightly cooler in breath and slightly warmer out breath.
Again,
Bringing your attention to those slight pauses at the top and the bottom of each breath.
Those spaces in between.
Gently bringing yourself back into your physical body by introducing some small gentle movements.
Maybe touch your nose,
Wiggle your fingers,
Wiggle your toes.
Continuing to breathe all the while.
Maybe you want to do a little very gentle stretch.
Maybe just out to the side or stretch your feet down or reach up tall.
Just very gentle movements.
There's no forcing here.
It's very natural.
Whatever feels natural to you in this moment.
Continuing to breathe all the while.
In and out.
When you feel ready,
You can blink the eyes open.
Maybe stretch again.
If you need to yawn,
Have a yawn.
Just bring yourself gently back into the now.
I invite you to enjoy the rest of your day.
Enjoy the creativity that you've just awakened.
The creative flow that you've just awakened.
And I hope you will join me on this meditation anytime you need to awaken your creativity.
Thank you so much for taking time to practice with me today.
I wish you so much love,
So much joy,
So much happiness and namaste.
