If you're anything like me at the moment,

You're a little bit stressed,

A little bit anxious,

Just a little bit on edge.

So let's just take the next few minutes to slow down,

Relax,

Refresh,

So we're ready to get on with the rest of our day.

So let's do this together.

I invite you to get comfortable,

You can sit down,

Lay down,

Whatever's most comfortable for you,

And just really relax into this,

Because this moment and this time is allocated just for you.

You're making the conscious effort to decide to take part in this,

And that you're worth this time.

So let's go on this together.

I invite you to close your eyes,

And just start bringing your focus to your breathing.

Are you breathing in through your nose,

Are you breathing in through your mouth?

And there's no right or wrong answer here,

But maybe you're breathing shallow,

Maybe you're breathing really deep,

Maybe it's into your chest,

Or it's deeper down.

It's completely okay,

Just whatever feels comfortable to you.

And as we sit there breathing,

Just allow yourself to start slowing down.

You've probably got a lot going on at the moment,

Maybe work's busy,

Or relationship stuff,

But whatever it is,

This moment is just for you.

We're just sitting here,

Focusing on our breathing.

So we're just going to do this together for a little bit.

And as we continue to do this,

I want you just to start becoming aware of all the sounds around you.

What can you hear?

Are there any steady noises going on?

Anything with sudden interrupts?

But just whatever it is,

Just let it be there.

Often when we're meditating,

There can be these sounds that come up,

And it feels like they're distracting us,

Or stopping us from going deeper.

But often,

Just becoming aware of those sounds actually can add to the meditation.

Because once we can get to a point of identifying that that noise is there,

Becoming aware,

But still slowing down and not letting it affect us,

That's a really incredible practice.

But I understand it can take some time to get to that point.

So for now,

Just become aware of those sounds,

And just allow them to be there.

And now,

What can you smell?

Are there any smells around you?

And if so,

Just acknowledge that they're there.

And now that we've identified what's going on around us,

Let's start bringing our focus within.

How is our body feeling?

Are we holding tension anywhere?

Are we finding it's hard to fully relax because there's tension in our body,

Or our mind just keeps going?

And if so,

Let's just follow through this.

I want you to first start at the top of your head.

And just imagine that there's a ball of light.

It can be white light,

Gold light,

Yellow light,

Or whatever feels the most comfortable to you.

And it's starting at the top of our head,

And just going through.

And as we're going through the body,

We're identifying if there's any tension being stored there.

And just going through,

Going down.

Are you holding tension in your jaw?

Is the tongue on the roof of your mouth?

And if so,

Just allow it to drop.

Allow the tension in your jaw just to release.

And going down.

Is your neck stiff?

Is it relaxed?

Is it free?

And just be aware.

And just identify if there's tension,

Or if there's not.

But regardless of that answer,

It's still okay.

Allow that tension to just be there if it needs to be.

And if you feel like just clearing it away and it's no longer needed,

Just allow that light that's transferring down to go into that area.

And just imagine it completely freeing and releasing those blocks.

Now that we're at your shoulders,

Allow them to drop and release.

Continuing down through our body,

There's a tension in your chest,

Your arms,

Down to your stomach,

Your hips,

Continuing down into your legs,

And all the way down to your feet.

And once you've done this,

And feel like you're comfortable,

And now we're aware of what's going on around in your body,

Just take a moment and allow yourself to feel.

It can be good emotions,

Ones that make you sad,

But anything that's just been stored in your body,

Just allow it to release.

And just to finish up,

I want you to put your hand on your chest,

And just feel the warmth between your hand,

And the warmth building up,

And just really feel that heat.

And now with that same ball of energy that you were using to go down your body,

I just want you to bring that point to your hand,

And feel that energy just building and building,

And starting to flow through your whole body.

And just allow yourself to feel how it feels,

Transferring through your body,

Filling you full of warmth,

Clearing any blocks that are needed,

And just really giving you that boost of energy,

That you need.

And allow yourself just to sit in that feeling for however long you need to,

But when you're ready,

Just start bringing your focus back to your breathing,

Start becoming aware of those sounds going on around you,

And coming back to this present moment.

And I wish you the best for the rest of your day.
