This practice will help you manage your fear and nervousness so that you can say yes to your voice and creative flow. One of the most important things to remember when it comes to managing fear and nervousness is that everyone experiences these emotions from time to time. You're not alone!

This is Justin Michael Williams and welcome to your practice.

This practice is going to start a little differently than the other ones.

What I want you to do is stand up and we're going to begin this practice by moving the body to get any stuck or stagnant energy out.

When we get nervous or when we get afraid,

So much of our vital life energy gets trapped in our heads,

Which is where the saying stuck in your head comes from.

Or sometimes it gets trapped in our body,

Which is one of the reasons why you start to tremble and quiver when you get nervous because all of this energy gets trapped and it needs to move.

Now what I want you to do in a moment is pause this audio and go turn on one of your favorite upbeat songs.

And it needs to be something that is upbeat and energized and makes you want to dance.

And it can be any song so long as it's upbeat and makes you want to move a little bit.

And what you're going to do is you're just going to jump around and shake and shake your wrists and shake your feet and shake your legs and shake your head and shake your neck and just really move around.

It's a lot less about doing a dance routine of any sort and more about just letting yourself look crazy,

Which really doesn't matter.

Just let yourself go and shaking and moving the energy out of your body.

And one of the things that can help is right now you can try to see if you can locate in your body where the nervousness and fear is living.

So see if you can feel it.

Is it in your chest?

Is it in your arms?

Your legs?

Your jaw?

Where is it at?

In your neck?

And then you just start there and start by,

If it's in your chest,

Shaking out your chest and then letting your arms and your shoulders shake and just moving around.

And it really helps to do this with a song that you love.

So go ahead,

Pause this audio now,

Turn on a song,

And as soon as you exhaust yourself,

As soon as you exhaust yourself,

Come right back to this recording and we're going to pick up with a meditation.

Go ahead and pause this recording right now.

Now close your eyes,

Place a hand over your heart,

And stand still,

Completely still,

Wherever you are.

And I'd like you to take a deep inhale through your nose and reach your arms up towards the sky as you inhale.

And on the exhale,

Bring both hands down to touch your heart.

Again,

Inhale,

Reach your arms up towards the sky.

You can even let the palms touch over your head if you want.

And then exhale,

Bring the hands down until they both rest upon your heart.

And now just breathe.

Feel your breath.

Feel that energy.

That is all you.

All that energy running through your body,

Running through your veins,

That breath,

That power.

That's all you.

Sometimes we have to just wake it up.

Wake it up.

That's you,

Baby.

That's you.

It's all you.

Take a deep breath in through your nose and now sigh it out.

And don't be afraid to let out a nice loud sigh.

This releases the energy even more.

Again,

Deep,

Full,

Full breath in through the nose.

And now open the mouth.

Sigh it out.

One more.

Inhale through the nose.

Hold it.

Hold it.

Hold it.

And now open the mouth.

Sigh it out.

You got this.

Baby,

You got this.

You got this.

Baby,

You got this.

Stand tall in your power.

Stand tall in who you are.

You're exactly where you're supposed to be.

This is where you grow.

You got this.

You got this.

You got this.

Take a deep breath in and a deep breath out.

And open your eyes and step back into your magical ass life.
