Okay,

Welcome.

If you'd like to join me to practice discerning the voice within,

Go ahead and get settled.

Just invite a few deep breaths into your body.

And as you get still,

Letting go of the breath.

And just a couple more like that as you close your eyes or softly gaze downward.

And then allow your breath to find its natural rhythm,

Whatever that means.

You may notice some thoughts trying to distract you,

That's normal.

See if you can let each one go like a ball of helium surrounding each thought floating into the sky.

And perhaps there is a persistent thought not quite ready to be let go.

It's maybe the loudest one,

The one you hear all the time.

Let's bring it into focus.

Try not to judge.

Just allow those words to play back in your mind.

And then drop your awareness into your heart right in the center of your chest.

And while repeating the thought,

What do you notice?

What does your heart feel when you hear those words?

Does it feel warm and of comfort?

Or cold and discomfort?

Or uncomfortable?

Thinking about your body or bringing awareness to your body.

How does it feel when you replay that thought?

Does it feel relaxed and open?

So if there were two choices with this thought,

How would you discern it?

Of love or fear?

Most thoughts,

Situations,

Even people or places can be used with this barometer,

This discernment,

Just by checking in with your heart or the sensations of your body.

Is it of warmth,

Open,

Love?

Or something else?

Checking back in with that thought and before closing this,

Just see what it needs.

Sometimes those persistent thoughts just need attention.

That's why they're screaming so loud.

So if you're in a situation where you're in a situation where you're in a situation where you're in a situation where you're in a situation where you're in a situation where you're in a situation where you're in a situation where you're in a situation where you're in a situation where your equilibrium turns down a bit,

If it just disappears,

Or if your body feels differently,

And it's okay if it didn't,

That's okay.

Sometimes we try to solution before tapping into that,

That discernment.

It's always within you.

Just begin to invite some deeper than normal breaths into your body.

Letting go of the questions,

The answers.

Letting go of the questions,

The answers.

Slowly becoming aware of your present surroundings.

And when you're ready,

Gently open your eyes.

And if you'd like to take a moment to journal anything you'd like to remember,

Feel free to do so before easing back into your day.
