This is a very short, effective guided breath session to create feelings of calm, releasing stress and anxiety. You are guided to simply resource and release in order to let go of stress, anxiety, worry and fear and cultivate a sense of calm. You will feel quickly and easily more able to cope and to handle whatever it is you are facing. The instructions/invitation is easily practised and memorable so that you can take it beyond the five minute session and use it in everyday life, whenever you need a sense of calm and ease. We end with the mantra 'Breathe, Calm, I can handle this' and this belief is exactly what is cultivated through the breath.

In moments of stress,

Tension,

Anxiety or worry I'd like to invite you to this very simple,

Accessible,

Gentle breath Just breathing in through your nose or mouth,

Whatever feels most comfortable for you in this moment Just breathing as deeply into the belly as you can access And don't worry if that's still quite shallow,

Don't worry if you don't breathe all the way down But just with the intention to breathe as low as you can into the belly And with the exhale,

Just the intention to exhale all the air And so just breathing in and breathing out And just breathing in and breathing out And with the intention to breathe in whatever it is you need in this moment Whether that's calm,

Peace,

Serenity,

Confidence,

Patience Whatever it is,

Just breathe that in Breathing in whatever it is you need And with the exhale,

Setting the intention to breathe out whatever it is you don't So whether that's breathing out anxiety,

Fear,

Anger,

Stress,

Tension And just allowing that to release,

To leave the body with the breath And so just breathing in,

Resourcing,

Filling up Taking in And breathing out,

Releasing,

Letting go,

Letting out And so just continue that breath,

Breathing in whatever it is you need And breathing out whatever it is you don't Breathing in,

Inhaling whatever it is you need Breathing out,

Exhaling whatever it is you don't And just continuing that breath pattern and that intention,

Breathing in to resource Breathing in whatever it is you need And breathing out to release Breathing out whatever it is you don't need Whatever is no longer serving you,

Whatever is not in your highest and best interest and good Breathing in whatever it is you need And breathing out whatever it is you don't And just continue that pattern,

Knowing this is always available,

Always accessible Just with the breath and the intention Breathing in whatever it is you need And breathing out whatever it is you don't And I'd like to end with a mantra,

A blessing,

A belief Breathe,

Breathe,

I can handle this Breathe,

I can handle this Breathe,

I can handle this Thank you so much for joining us
