Welcome.

Today,

We are inviting your heart to pause,

Open,

And honor the harvest of your life.

In this meditation,

We will reflect on the gifts,

Blessings,

And abundance that surround you,

Both seen and unseen.

Find a comfortable position.

You can be sitting or lying down,

And if it's comfortable for you,

Gently close your eyes.

Allow your body to settle,

Letting your shoulders drop,

Your jaw soften,

Your hands rest easily.

Take a slow,

Deep breath in… and exhale fully.

Again,

Inhale… and release.

With each breath,

Allow yourself to arrive fully in this moment,

Letting go of any rush or distraction.

Let's bring our attention to your body.

Feel the weight of your body supported by the chair,

Cushion,

Or floor.

Notice the points of contact,

The warmth of your hands,

And the gentle rise and fall of your chest and belly with each breath.

Imagine roots extending from the base of your spine and the soles of your feet,

And sinking deeply into the earth.

Feel the steady support of the ground beneath you.

You are safe,

You are held,

And you are present.

Now,

In your mind's eye,

Picture yourself standing in a golden field bathed in warm sunlight.

The air is crisp and fragrant,

With the scents of autumn,

Rich earth,

Ripe fruit,

And the gentle rustle of leaves in the breeze.

In front of you are baskets,

Overflowing with the fruits of the season.

Each piece of fruit glows with abundance and nourishment,

As you gaze at the harvest.

Notice how plentiful it is.

Let this abundance remind you of all that has come to fruition in your life.

The moments,

The achievements,

The relationships,

And the simple joys that have grown,

Ripened,

And that have nourished your heart.

Take a moment to acknowledge these blessings with each breath.

Silently name something in your life that you are grateful for.

It could be big or small.

A person,

A memory,

A moment,

A lesson learned,

Or simply the gift of being alive today.

Visualize placing each gratitude into the baskets before you.

You are adding to the harvest.

Feel your heart expand with warmth and appreciation.

Notice how this feeling radiates through your body,

Lighting up your chest,

Your shoulders,

Your arms,

And spreading outwards into your hands and fingertips,

Filling your entire being with gratitude.

Take a deep,

Nourishing breath in.

And exhale slowly.

Let this feeling of abundance and gratitude settle deep within you,

A harvest that you can return to anytime.

When you feel ready,

Gently bring your awareness back to the room.

Move your fingers and toes,

Roll your shoulders,

Stretch out,

And softly open your eyes if they are closed.

Carry this warmth,

This sense of appreciation with you into the rest of your day,

And into the season ahead.

Be well.

Be blessed.
