In these first quiet moments, you’re guided to connect with yourself before connecting with the world, grounding your energy, calming your nervous system, and setting a mindful tone for the day ahead. Good morning.

This meditation is the perfect start for your day.

Listen to this every morning while your coffee brews or your tea steeps to help you create your absolute best day ahead.

Begin wherever you are,

Whether that's standing in the kitchen,

Sitting at a table,

Or even gazing out of a window.

Let your body be at ease.

Take one slow breath in through the nose and a soft breath out through the mouth.

Again,

Breathing in and breathing out.

Taking a few more breaths here on your own,

Allowing each inhale to grow a little bit deeper,

Filling up with this new day ahead.

Every exhale,

Releasing what no longer serves you as you begin your day.

Breathing in and breathing out.

This is the first moment of your day that belongs only to you.

You don't need to be anywhere else or do anything else right now,

Except arrive.

Gently bring awareness to your feet.

Feel the ground beneath you.

Let yourself sense a feeling of stability and support,

While you continue to notice your breath moving in and out.

Easy.

With each inhale,

Imagine you're inviting fresh energy into the body.

With each exhale,

Imagine releasing anything you don't need to carry today.

Let your shoulders soften.

Let your jaw relax.

Let your face begin to brighten.

Now imagine a warm,

Gentle light inside of your chest,

Not bright or blinding,

Just a steady glow beginning to form inside of your chest.

Think of this warm light as your own inner sunshine.

With each inhale,

Feel it glowing a little warmer.

With each exhale,

Feel it spreading through your body,

Into the shoulders,

Down the arms,

Through the belly,

And into your legs.

This light doesn't rush though.

It simply shines.

With every inhale,

Feel that light grow a little bigger,

A little warmer inside of you.

And this light spreading throughout your entire body,

Your entire being,

Reminding you that you are here.

You are capable.

You are enough.

And if it feels supportive for you this morning,

Silently repeat,

I meet this day with openness.

I trust myself to receive the best day possible.

I allow my light to shine.

Take a few more breaths,

That warm glowing light inside of you,

Allowing your truest self to shine forward today.

Now imagine stepping into your day with this light and this warmth inside of you.

See yourself moving at your own pace today,

Without forcing,

Without shrinking.

You bring your own presence into whatever you do today.

Walk yourself through a part of your day,

Even just enjoying your coffee or tea this morning,

From a place of presence,

A place of warmth.

Take your time envisioning any other parts of your day today.

One more slow breath in,

And a gentle breath out.

As your coffee finishes brewing,

As your tea becomes ready,

Let this inner sunshine stay with you,

Knowing that you can return to it at any time during your day.

One breath,

One pause,

One moment of presence and awareness.
