Hello,
Welcome to this live recording meditation.
I'm recording in Pune,
Maharashtra,
India.
I'm here visiting and learning and having my mind blown left and right.
It's been a wonderful journey of exploration and just observation of my surroundings,
Remembering to be present and non-judgmental.
And really just sitting in those moments of peace and honor for myself and where I'm at in the current moment,
Mentally,
Emotionally,
Spiritually.
Really just letting the rest go.
So we'll kind of focus on the present moment in this meditation.
I know that this is not the ideal recording situation.
I know that you can hear a lot of the background and it's unexpected and it's distracting.
That's the point.
I wanted to capture what it feels like to be here and use it as a reminder that life is full of distractions.
It's full of ways to knock you off your path.
And that's the beauty of the contrast.
So wherever you're at,
Find a comfortable position and close your eyes when you're ready.
Breathing deep.
Finding a place in your body that will free you from your thoughts.
With all the noises,
Everything in your surroundings,
Any aches and pains in your body.
Think of them like the noise in this room coming in through the window.
These aches and your pains in your body are just distracting noises.
Tune them out if you can.
They might be screaming in your ear.
Quiet them to a whisper.
Coming to a place in your body and full awareness.
Finding somewhere that feels good.
And breathing into that place.
Accepting the distractions.
And staying with that place in your body that you've chosen.
Exercising your presence.
Training yourself to recover from distractions.
All of these sounds,
All of these noises are an invitation to go deeper into your concentration.
Accept them as challenges to your focus.
And encourage yourself for how focused you still are despite the noise.
Hear the chorus of life.
Find yourself within that chorus.
Flowing with the tune of your body.
Flowing with your own stillness in this moment.
Riding the wave of distraction.
To focus.
To peace.
It is available to you.
As you train yourself to work through these moments of distraction.
Accept yourself exactly as you are in this moment.
Complete presence.
With the body,
With the heart,
With your soul.
Namaste.
