Good morning,

Everyone.

Welcome to your Reiki and meditation session this morning.

My name is Laura.

It's wonderful to be here with you today.

If you guys can do a little quick tech check and just make sure that visually and audibly you can hear me,

If you can throw some hearts up there or maybe a comment.

I'd love to know who's here too.

I often see little floating bubbles,

But it's hard to tell who is here today.

So if you want to throw your name in and maybe where you're from,

It's always nice to know.

My name is Laura,

If this is your first time,

And I'm in Southern California right now.

Greg is here.

Hi,

Greg.

Yeah,

It's so funny.

It doesn't show on my bottom,

So I can't see who's here.

So I just love having everyone from all around coming in to visit.

We will be having our session,

Like I said,

It is a bit of a mix of things.

My background is in a whole bunch of things.

I am a yoga teacher and I also have a background in Reiki,

Which I've been working with for over 20 years.

And hi,

Monica from Oregon.

First time.

Nice to see you.

Thanks.

And then working with Reiki,

I grew up working with tarot,

So that has always been an underlying influence and way that I love working with energy.

Have also dove into Ayurveda and just love playing with the different forms,

The different systems that we have.

And so I love the possibilities that come up when it comes to Reiki of just really working and channeling that energy and having it go into the places that we need it to go.

And being able to build a sense of awareness within our own beings,

That interoceptive awareness of recognizing where discomfort lies within our bodies,

Because it does talk to us,

And us tapping in for a few minutes to really nurture those places of tenderness.

So it might be a physical place of tenderness,

But it might be a mental or emotional place of tenderness that we can take a few minutes and we can breathe with that energy,

And we can be with that energy.

And we increase our tolerance of being with the discomfort to allow us to get into that discovery mode and get a little bit curious about what is happening there.

And then also to bring in that compassion of like,

I am here,

I see you,

I feel you,

And I can be with you.

And so I just invite you today,

As much as I'm sending some energy your way,

You can cultivate that energy for yourself as well.

And so I just encourage you,

This is a co-creative experience today.

For those of you in astrology,

It is the Lionsgate portal,

Numerology as well,

It's this big eight energy that's coming in.

And for the eight,

It is this really beautiful,

Flowy,

Powerful energy.

And like I said,

I love to tell the story through the tarot.

So I'm going to just take a minute.

And I love the tarot because it's a visual storytelling.

So I want you to take a minute just to see what resonates for you as I move through the story.

So we have the four minor arcana cards,

Which is the wands,

The cups,

The swords,

And the pentacles.

It comes into this like physical manifestation of things.

And then we have the major arcana card,

Which is kind of the culmination of the energy.

So I'm not going to say too much about the cards.

I just want to show you the cards,

See what kind of stands out for you,

Because each person might be a little bit different,

But it gives you something maybe to visualize as we step into our meditation.

And then I'll be speaking to the energy that is present.

So this is our wands card.

I just love this deck,

It is so pretty.

This is our cups.

This is often our emotions,

Our relationships,

Our connections.

So I'll let you guys,

Good,

I'm glad you're enjoying it,

I'm so glad you're here.

And then swords is our thoughts.

So this can often be our most challenging,

Right?

The stories we tell ourselves.

In front of a mirror there.

And then the pentacles is more of a physical,

How we manifest things into the world.

Actions we take.

So I don't know if you can see her,

But she's got all her kind of magical things all out on a table.

And then just to notice,

This is like that full lunar cycle.

And then the culmination of this energy is that of the eight of strength.

So she's got this beautiful lioness energy,

But the gentleness of a lamb.

And so when it comes to this energy,

I have always had a favorite quote,

And it's,

Nothing is so strong as gentleness,

And there is nothing as gentle as true strength.

So I just want that to land with you for a moment.

That sums up the kind of flavor of the energy that we're stepping into.

Though it may seem like this beautiful,

Gentle,

Flowing energy,

It is deeply powerful.

And so to trust in that strength that we are accessing at this moment.

So I love to come into our sessions just tapping into the body.

So let's just take a moment and maybe rub the hands together,

The palms together.

Okay,

Just building up that energy,

Right?

Getting those energy centers going,

Letting them know we've got work to do today.

And then place them on the eyes for a moment here.

So we let that outer seeking get quiet.

Let us go inward,

Maybe noticing if any of those images are kind of coming to you right now.

Maybe they're coming out for you to for today's session.

Just breathe here,

Finding your breath,

That inhale and exhale.

Beautiful.

Go ahead and take it off.

And then let's go ahead and tap the body a little bit.

We're just going to wake things up and get this energy moving,

Right,

And wake up that whole body because we need ourselves to be fully present for this powerful energy that's coming in.

So just see what feels good here.

You can like tap on the sides if you feel like there's,

You know,

Maybe some,

A lot of headiness.

A lot of times when we have a lot of thoughts,

This,

When you do a little bit of tapping around the face,

The head,

It can allow yourselves to get into sensation versus story.

Noticing places of tenderness,

Maybe places that are calling to you.

Again,

You can just,

Some blankets on today,

You can tap or maybe take in the bigger part portions of the body,

Like the legs and the arms and the torso.

You can kind of bring in the fists and just gently kind of tap here,

Wake up those energies.

Awesome.

Awesome.

Go ahead and drop it down the legs so we ground that energy,

So our bodies become like these beautiful tuning forks,

Right,

For all that energy we want to draw in.

Okay,

Let's go ahead and bring the hands to the tops of the knees.

Let's bring in a little,

A couple of cat-cows,

Just get that,

The spine undulating and almost like a flossing of energy,

Imagining it running up and down the spine there.

So we're going to inhale,

Open up,

Drop shoulders back and down,

Gaze towards the sky.

Inhale,

Draw in that energy,

Exhale,

Round the spine,

Gaze to the floor,

The belly button,

Round that back and ground the energy into the earth.

Again,

We're just running that energy.

Again,

That cycle of breath.

As we move in the body as well,

As we're finding that kind of cadence of breath,

We're also starting to notice where we feel that tenderness or tightness,

Right?

Let's just do one more.

Again,

Really purposefully running that energy up and down through the spine.

Exhale,

Ground the energy.

Beautiful.

We've done our front,

Our back body.

Let's do the side body here,

Inhaling,

Arms up to the sky here.

Exhale,

Release that right hand down,

Reach through those left fingertips,

And then release on over.

If you want,

You can take the fingertips down to touch,

Come back over to the side,

Inhale up.

Okay,

Let's release on the opposite side,

Exhaling over to the left.

Again,

Those fingertips can drop down and touch.

Inhale center,

And then exhale.

Just take a moment.

You know,

You can release forward.

I'm on a couch,

So if it feels comfortable,

If you have access,

You can release those fingertips out,

Kind of walk it out.

Engage at the hips there,

Maybe shake the head no or yes,

Just to release any tension built up.

Beautiful.

Slowly start walking yourself up.

Okay,

Nice.

So now I'll just,

Again,

Just taking that moment to be curious about anything that spoke to you.

It might be in the mind.

It might be in the energy,

The emotional energy that's kind of coming in,

Noting how you're stepping in today.

If anybody wants to share anything that's standing out for them,

Because I can bring it into the session that you'd like it to be spoken to as we move through,

Or I just simply hold space for that as we move through our session.

But otherwise,

If you'd like to go ahead and find your comfortable place.

So if seated is comfortable for you,

That's fine,

But I also encourage to totally let the body be rested and comfortable.

So grab your pillows,

Your blanket,

And just get nice and cozy.

Support the body so nothing has to feel like it's kind of gripping or straining in any way.

We want the body to completely be relaxed and released.

So that way we can really work with that energetic body.

Beautiful.

So go ahead and find your place here.

And if it feels comfortable,

Go ahead and let the eyes close.

And we take a moment to simply find the breath.

That gentle inhale and exhale,

Just noticing the rise and fall.

Or starting to just simply get curious.

Again,

Remembering what a beautiful receptor of energy that our palms are.

We have all these little centers on the palm.

If there's anywhere in the body,

You know,

Sensation-wise or just even emotionally,

Anything that comes up,

Remember that you can be compassionate to the self and place a little bit of support there.

And sometimes the warmth of the hand or the gentle pressure of the palm,

It's like you're just reminding yourself that you're not alone here.

You can give yourself this gentle sense of support,

Steadiness.

The eyes are heavy.

And then again,

Just noticing that beautiful just undulation of breath.

I'm just going to gently move through the body for just a moment.

So we're noticing at the crown of the head,

We're releasing the weight of the head,

Maybe rocking the head back and forth with a nice no.

Noticing the place in the back of the head that's connected to the earth.

Backs of the shoulder blades,

Backs of the arms,

Maybe the palms or backs of the hands,

The hips,

Thighs,

Calves,

Heels,

Or maybe soles of the feet.

Again,

We're letting the body be at rest.

So the rest of our being,

All those beautiful layers of the self,

We can give some attention to that for the next few minutes.

So we have this deeply rooted and grounded energy here,

What gives us the ability to now play in the light and the energy.

So take a moment to envision a beautiful glowing warm yellow light at the crown of the head.

And recognize if at any time you want to change the color or any other visualization that you'd like,

You can.

I'm going to use that of this beautiful,

Just warm.

Reminds me of the glow of like a firefly in the summertime.

At the crown of the head,

Big inhale here.

As you inhale,

Noticing the expansion of that energy.

It kind of grows a little bit,

Gets a little bit warmer.

And then as you exhale,

It just gently softens here.

Just playing with the energy.

Inhale expanding,

Exhale contracting.

With each breath,

We make space for healing,

For awareness,

For curiosity.

Take this energy and go ahead and let it float down to the space between the brow.

This is our place where often it is covered with our concerns,

Our worries.

So let our worries turn into wonder for just a little while.

As we step into a place of trust with our third eye,

With our intuition.

Not needing to know where it's leading to,

But allowing ourselves to at least hear the messages that it's trying to kind of get through,

Right?

We have so much clutter sometimes in the mind.

So just let that all go,

Let it get still,

Let it get quiet.

Softening a release at that third eye,

The eyes sink heavy,

Allow there to be space between the teeth,

The jaw to soften and relax.

Again,

Head is heavy,

Grounded into the earth.

And this intuitive,

Playful place,

As we get ready to move through the body,

Don't worry about where it needs to go.

Just allow yourself to follow the energy.

Even though something may speak to you that is different than where I'm kind of guiding you,

Just go with it.

Like I said,

You can place your hand,

Your attention in those spaces.

Take a nice big deep breath in as we continue our journey.

Feel some of the energy down to the space of the throat,

As we allow our voices to be heard,

And most importantly,

To ourselves.

When we find the stillness,

The silence,

That's where our intuition can finally speak.

It's where our wisdom wells up and we can finally access it.

Breathing here,

Sending energy down to the heart space,

Filling our bodies with this beautiful light,

This energy,

Where we can access what it is that our heart most desires.

Accessing this source energy to really feed our passions,

Our sense of devotion.

And turning,

When we think of being in a flow of a river,

Often on the surface it looks very still,

But underneath there is this strong,

Strong undercurrent,

Right?

And you have to be careful in this way that you have to know how to work with that energy.

So it's having a sense of honoring this powerful energy within you and allowing yourself to tap into that and access that energy.

There's this quickening of energy that runs through once you decide to step in,

Right?

But we have to decide to step into that flow of energy,

To accept our gifts,

Our strengths.

Letting this heart energy build and grow,

That momentum wanting to move into other places in the body.

So letting it flow down the right arm,

Wrist,

Palm,

And into the fingertips.

Coming back to center,

Heart center here,

Breathing expansive energy,

Exhale,

Send it down that left arm,

Down to the left wrist,

Palm,

And fingertips.

Again,

We've ignited the energy within these palm centers,

Recognizing we can place the palms anywhere we need a little bit of extra love or support or strength,

Or maybe stillness.

Inhaling here,

And as we come into a place of confidence,

That lioness energy or lion-like energy,

This confident strength,

It's not a showy strength,

A showy confidence.

It is that of walking the talk,

Having a sense of devotion to our desires,

The confidence that we can harness this energy to create something of beauty within ourselves and within our lives.

And that confidence,

We let that infuse with our creativity,

Knowing that our expression of that confidence,

Of that cultivation,

Of that devotion,

Of that passion that we hold will look different for each one of us.

And because it's unique,

We may not find it out in the world,

But we still allow ourselves to pour our energy,

Our heart,

Our spirit into cultivating and creating our unique expression into the world,

Allowing ourselves to let go of old stories,

Old narratives that no longer serve,

Having the strength to walk away from that that does not build us up or move us forward towards that goal that we hold for ourselves,

That in these negative stories or narratives,

We tend to bind our own souls.

So we need to release and let go.

So breathing here,

That expansive,

Warm energy,

We're opening up that space.

So creativity,

Can flow,

Expression,

Can access that passion,

Purposeful drive.

Beautiful here.

So as we cultivate this energy,

We send the energy down through the legs,

Down through the soles of the feet,

And we ground it into the earth as we take these practical steps,

Taking action as we move this energy into our experience.

As we actively work with our magic,

The tools that we know that we have,

We take the time to take each one of them out and work with them to create that beautiful masterpiece of our own life.

We become a living expression of this energy.

Holding this energy here and letting it flow where it needs to go for the last few minutes.

Break through some energy through mantra as we dedicate this energy to this full expression of ourselves.

I fall into the flow of this quickening energy and I swiftly face my desires head on.

I walk away from negativity and I choose myself in a rebellious act of self-love.

I am free to choose my healing and my light.

With loving determination,

I persevere and I become the person I long to be.

I deliberately bring my compassion and strength forward and I use them for good.

Taking a moment here to envision the infinity symbol and then running it through the body for a moment.

This infinite flow of energy,

This infinite access to abundance.

Should we choose stillness,

We can tap into our strength.

This energy is available until you no longer need it.

Always residing within.

Always only a few breaths away.

Taking a moment to seal our practice,

Our time together.

Cleansing breath in through the nose.

Exhale out through the mouth.

Beautiful.

Taking a moment to come back to the breath,

Noticing the gentle rise and fall,

Expansion,

Contraction.

Maybe there's a noticing of the subtle energy humming through the body.

Go ahead and take a moment to bring a little movement into the fingers and toes as we come back into our physical presence.

And if you'd like,

You're welcome to gently come up to seated if you were lying down.

Go ahead and place,

Stacking the hands,

One on top of the heart,

On top of the heart here,

At heart center.

Seal with one final breath.

Big inhale.

Exhale out.
