Welcome my friend.

Thank you for joining me for this meditation.

Find yourself in a relaxed position,

Either seated or lying down.

You can choose to close your eyes.

Let's find ourselves in this moment.

What are you feeling in your body?

Are there any places of tension?

Can you relax the places that are holding tension?

Begin to bring your focus to the breath.

Breathing deeply in and out.

See if you can elongate the exhale.

Begin to purge the stresses from your body.

Imagining that your muscles are melting.

Relaxing.

Imagine that you're entering a wood cabin.

There's a brisk cool outside.

Snow is falling.

As you open the door,

You see the coziness and safety and warmth of a fire and a rocking chair that's padded and soft.

Take off your winter coat and hang it on the post.

Stomp out your boots and remove them.

Walk towards the chair.

It's time to nestle yourself down next to the chair's small table with a cup of tea of your favorite flavor.

Take the cup and take a sip.

Feel the warmth entering your body,

Soothing your soul.

The warmth of the fire gives such comfort.

You feel the ease begin to take over through the warmth of the tea and the warmth of the fire.

You come deeper and deeper into a place of relaxation,

Nestled into the comfort of your home.

On the table is a book.

A book filled with photos and memories.

Special sayings,

Handwritten.

Open the book up and you go to your favorite page.

The memories fill you with a place of comfort and warmth,

A life well lived.

Gently smile to yourself.

Holding that's loved again close to your heart.

Begin to notice the rock of the rocking chair.

So gentle.

Let your heart open with gratitude to the love that you've experienced in this life.

Feel the gentle motion that corresponds to the in and the exhale.

The in and the out of the breath.

You notice that you begin to fall softly into sleep,

Allowing the cares of today to wash beside you and you fall deeper and deeper into sleep.

Goodnight my love.
