Good morning everybody.
Welcome to morning meditation in the flow.
Let's get in the flow and live our lives.
Yay.
Namaste everybody.
The divine light in me honors the divine light in you.
So thank you for joining me today.
I am outside today maybe you can hear some different sounds.
I just had a little incident with a dragonfly.
All is well.
We may hear some crazy sounds because the squirrels like to go on the roof.
You never know what's going to happen.
Yes,
Mercury is in retrograde.
Anyway,
It's interesting because I'm giggling about all this and ironically today my question for you guys is what would it take for you to be happy?
That sounds like kind of a generic question,
Right?
What would it take for you to be happy?
Like personally,
Like you to be happy?
I don't know food,
Money,
Sex,
Meditation,
Exercise,
Cookies.
What would it take for you to be happy?
All right,
So pick something.
I want you to pick something.
Something that makes you really,
Really happy.
For me,
It's the beach.
Going to the beach,
I feel relaxed,
I feel calm,
I feel happy,
I feel at peace with the world.
That's my happy,
Right?
My other happy place is right here as you can see.
What is it?
What is your choice?
What is your happy place?
Now here's the question.
Do you know how that feeling is that you feel right now because you're sitting here talking about what it is that makes you happy?
You know that feeling like deep down in the pit of your stomach that makes you that feeling.
I want you to get into that place.
If you're having a cookie,
What is that feeling or if you're exercising or if you're meditating or whatever it is,
What makes you happy and how does that feel for you in your gut?
How does that feel?
Right?
Okay,
So now what if I was to tell you that we could have that feeling even without the cookie,
The beach,
The whatever?
You can.
You can.
You know,
Obviously I am a medium and I call myself the happy medium.
Actually my husband called me that.
That's how that began because I'm just generally a happy person.
However,
Here's the thing.
Sometimes you just need that extra little punch in the stomach,
Right?
Not punch in the stomach but you know like that feeling in your gut.
You need to feel that happiness.
So when you're at the beach or you're exercising or you're having sex or you're meditating,
Whatever it is that you're doing and you are happy,
What does that feeling feel like for you?
So here's my next question.
What about that feeling?
This is thought provoking.
What is it about that feeling that makes you happy?
I hope that makes sense.
Is it that it brings forth this sort of exuberance?
What is it about that feeling that makes you happy?
Is it the calmness?
Is it the peace?
What about that feeling?
Interesting question,
Right?
So what we're going to do is we are going to meditate on this and we are going to learn how to have that feeling,
That feeling of peace,
That feeling of exuberance,
That feeling of excitement all day long.
Right?
Okay.
So let's close our eyes.
Let's close our eyes and get to a place where we're comfortable.
Perfect.
Now let's take a nice long deep breath in really slow through your nose.
Really slow and let every cell of your body feel the oxygen coming in.
And release.
Beautiful.
So now as we're getting ready to sit in the silence and stillness,
Let's consider getting ourself in that feeling of happiness.
Think about that thing that we picked earlier,
That one thing that makes you happy.
Think about doing that or eating that or feeling that right now.
I didn't say content or I didn't say anything other than happy.
So make sure that this thing makes you happy.
Perfect.
As we sit in this stillness right now,
It might be easy to feel that feeling of happiness and to be that feeling of happiness.
But what about when we're not meditating?
Today our mantra is an affirmation by Louise Hay.
Everything in my life works now and forevermore.
So if you take that happy feeling based off of what we were thinking a few minutes ago,
Our choice of what makes us happy,
And this affirmation,
We want to embed that feeling in our gut.
Everything in my life works now and forevermore.
That is happy.
That is content.
And that is peace.
So we're going to cement this feeling that we have right now.
Going to cement this feeling for the rest of our day by meditating on this feeling and this mantra.
Everything in my life works now and forevermore.
So we're going to repeat that to ourselves over and over as we sit in the silence and stillness.
Everything in my life works now and forevermore.
Everything in my life works now and forevermore.
Everything in my life works now and forevermore.
And as we begin to sit in the silence,
You can put your hand over your heart as you say the mantra over and over.
I will keep the time and let's begin.
Everything in my life works now and forevermore.

Let's start bringing our awareness back to our bodies.
And let's take a nice long,
Really,
Really slow deep breath in.
And release.
Whenever you're comfortable,
You can open your eyes.
So you can take this feeling,
This feeling of happiness,
You can take it with you all day long.
It's up to you.
The choice is up to you.
This mantra for me just works so perfectly.
If you find yourself in an unsure place for a few minutes during the day,
Just say that.
Everything works for me now and forevermore.
Everything works for me.
You can even just say that.
Everything works for me.
And that creates that feeling of contentedness,
Happiness.
And you don't have to have the calories of the cookies.
Right?
