
Where Are You On The Emotional Guidance Scale?

We all are constantly feeling some type of emotion whether it’s positive or negative. The question becomes, "how do we go from fear to joy or from hate to love?" Let’s figure out how to use Abraham-Hicks' Emotional Guidance Scale to raise our vibration!

Namaste everybody.
Welcome to In The Flow with Lori Albert.
And today we are going to discuss one of my favorite topics is the emotional guidance scale from Esther Hicks and Abraham.
I love this subject.
I love,
I just love it all to be honest.
Anything having to do with the law of attraction or manifesting all of that stuff is like I love that whole conversation.
So today what I wanted to do was we're going to talk about all the emotions on the scale.
And what I want to talk about is how to,
If you find yourself in the lower end,
How to get up to that higher level.
So what I'm going to do is I'm going to read.
I had to write them all out because I didn't want to miss one.
Right.
So I'm going to read all of the emotions from the highest emotion to the lowest emotion.
OK.
And I want you to notice which ones of those stick out.
OK.
To you.
It's a very personal thing,
Which is what's so freaking cool about it.
Right.
OK.
So I'm going to put my glasses on so I don't screw it up.
OK.
Starting at the top with the highest emotions,
Joy,
Gratitude and love,
Passion.
Now,
Take a be aware of which ones stick out to you,
How you feel right now,
How you'd like to feel,
All of that.
OK,
So starting to start again.
Joy,
Gratitude,
Love,
Passion,
Enthusiasm,
Positive belief,
Optimism,
Hopefulness,
Contentment,
Boredom,
Pessimism,
Frustration or irritation,
Overwhelmment.
That's an interesting one.
Disappointment,
Doubt,
Worry,
Blame,
Discouragement,
Anger,
Revenge,
Hatred,
Jealousy,
Insecurity and fear,
Greed or depression.
Now,
So much I want to say about this,
Because if you notice at the bottom there,
Hatred is actually higher than jealousy,
Insecurity and fear.
Fear is at the bottom.
And I want to point that out.
I wanted to point that out because I think people always think,
Love,
Fear,
Love,
Hate,
Love,
Hate.
But no,
Fear is at the bottom of it.
Because when you hate something,
There's a fear attached.
If you think about it,
It's logical.
And jealousy is even lower than hatred.
I mean,
It's just amazing.
Right?
So here's what I want to say.
And this is so interesting because I will just admit,
Again,
I like to bring my own personal life to In The Flow because we are in the flow of our lives.
I had a bad dream last night and it's sticking with me.
It's like right here and I can't get it loose.
It's the perfect example of,
It's going to be the perfect example of what I want to talk about or what we're talking about today.
So how do we get from fear,
Insecurity,
Jealousy,
Hatred,
All the way up to love?
How do we get there?
You can't just,
And this was always my thing,
You see all these things online and they say,
Oh,
Just love.
Love is the only thing and all of this stuff.
And it's like,
Sometimes it takes a little bit for me to get there.
I can't just say,
Oh,
Okay,
I'm going from my place of fear to my place of love.
Boom.
Done.
It's a little bit more difficult for me than that.
So one of the things that Esther Hicks and Abraham spoke about was how to get from the bottom to the top.
And you don't just go from fear to love.
You take incremental steps.
Right?
So,
Okay,
So this dream that I had involves fear.
This is a perfect example and it's just so funny how spirit works.
Right?
Spirit gave me this.
I love that.
Right?
Okay.
So anyway,
So this dream I had had fear.
I was very fearful in it.
Really fearful.
Now,
Taking that to love is a hard thing because fear is like,
It just envelops you.
Right?
So maybe we just go to insecurity.
That's a step higher.
I was feeling a little insecure.
That's right.
I was.
And if I can stay in that place of insecurity for just a minute and think,
Okay,
Yeah,
I see the insecurity in that.
Okay.
Then I'm moving up just a little bit more and I can see discouragement.
I know I can understand how I felt discouraged.
Right?
So that's just a little bit higher.
Right?
I can understand.
I understand the discouragement in there.
Can you tell I'm working this out as I'm talking to you?
Because it works every single time.
So I was that.
Right?
Then moving up just a little bit more.
Worry.
Worry is big.
Can be a big thing.
You know,
When you're feeling fear and insecurity and all that,
Worry comes with that.
And I can see where the worry goes.
Is.
Right?
So if I sit with that for a little bit.
Okay.
And then comes the frustration.
Moving,
Just moving a little bit higher.
I understand why I was feeling frustrated in this dream.
Blah,
Blah,
Blah.
Okay.
Then all of a sudden we start moving into the positive things.
Right?
There was a feeling of contentment.
I can feel myself feeling content in that particular situation in my dream.
Right?
Okay.
So you sit with that a little bit.
And now I'm feeling because I'm starting to get past it.
I'm starting to feel the hopefulness.
I'm starting to feel hope.
You know,
Because granted this dream was it's not reality,
But these emotions are very real.
Right?
So I'm feeling,
I'm feeling hope.
I'm feeling I'm understanding the hope.
Right?
Hmm.
And the next thing I can feel myself gradually getting to is positivity.
A positive belief.
My positive belief that this particular situation isn't real.
And if it was real,
I can do it.
I can get past it.
And now I can get to a place of love and joy and gratitude.
Actually,
It's more gratitude right now than joy or love.
I'm feeling gratitude.
Very interesting.
Right?
Very interesting.
Because my gratitude comes from the place of if I didn't have this dream and have this thing happening in my dream,
I'm grateful that I was able to get it and to understand it and to put it into my real life.
Really pretty cool.
Right?
This is a really cool way to get from the bottom to the top.
And that's why I like to have this list sitting there because if you can gradually allow yourself to move up the scale,
You eventually get to that place of freedom.
That place of love and gratitude and joy in your life.
Right?
So now,
Which of those emotions,
The higher emotions,
Which of the higher emotions spoke to you?
Was it joy,
Gratitude,
Love?
Any of those?
Was it optimism or hope?
What was it?
What was one of those higher emotions?
What spoke to you?
For me,
It kind of tends to always go to grateful.
Oh,
That's so funny.
People are saying grateful,
Right?
Right?
Because that's just what happens.
You go to this place of gratitude.
Right?
So,
Today in our meditation,
Our mantra is going to be whichever of those high emotions that you just chose.
So for me,
It's grateful.
So my mantra is going to be,
I am grateful.
Okay?
So let's get ourselves comfortable.
Get ourselves situated.
Allow your eyes to float closed.
To get ready for our meditation.
Let's take a deep breath in through our nose.
And release.
Perfect.
Very good.
So when you choose your particular mantra,
I am grateful.
I am love.
I am joy.
I am hopeful.
I am positivity.
I am passion.
I am enthusiastic.
Which one of those is something that you are striving for?
What are you striving for?
You don't have to be at that place just yet.
So that will be our mantra.
If you lose the mantra,
You can just always,
Or if you start thinking laundry list of things you need to do today,
Just gently push those thoughts to the side and come back to either your mantra or to your breath.
I will keep the time and let's begin.
Okay?

Okay.
Bringing our awareness back to our bodies.
Can release your mantra.
Let's take a nice deep breath in and release it.
Whenever you feel comfortable,
You can open your eyes.
How great,
Right?
And you can take that mantra with you the rest of the day.
I am grateful.
I am love.
Whatever you chose.
And know that that emotional guidance scale is there for you.
And,
You know,
Yes,
I did it pretty fast going up the scale as best as I could.
But,
You know,
You can sit with those emotions.
It's okay to sit with the emotions a little bit,
Right?
You just need to get yourself up to the top eventually.
Because ultimately we want to be,
I mean,
Don't we all just want to live in a place of joy and love and gratitude?
Right.
