Hi my name is Lisa and this is a meditation to manifest trust over fear.
I have asked myself this question a lot as well as many of my fellow students and meditation and yoga practitioners.
What is the difference between trust,
Gut instincts,
Your intuition,
And fear?
For example,
Your fears can be a lot like horseflies or mosquitoes that are buzzing around you and biting and biting and it may feel like you have to pay attention to them,
They may have no strong foundation,
And then they'll come back even when times are beautiful.
Your fears tend to hold on to what was or what could be,
And they tend to hold on to things that could keep you safe from the future while reminding you of what went wrong in the past.
Your intuition on the other hand is like an old wise spirit whispering to you on what is,
On what is important,
On what is happening.
Your intuition may focus on the present moment and have you look a little bit closer,
Or your intuition may completely go against your fears knowing what is healthy for you.
The voice will be calmer and more grounded in a sensation of the now,
Of what is happening that you may not realize or you may be aware of.
So let us go ahead and dive and explore this practice a little bit deeper.
Find your comfortable position,
It could be sitting,
Lying down,
Wherever you are,
Just welcome it.
Take a nice big deep inhale into the body and exhale,
Sigh out,
Let go.
Take a nice big deep inhale and exhale,
Sigh out,
Let go.
Last big deep breath in and let's ground down through our root chakra the energy of grounding and safety that sometimes when out of balance throws us into a state of overdrive,
Of needing safety,
Of not trusting the outside world or any world or anyone.
Begin to send your breath down to your tailbone,
Your legs,
Your feet.
Become aware of this beautiful foundation underneath you,
The earth underneath you,
Even if you are sitting in a chair in a building.
This chair is connected to a space which is connected to earth and imagine a red light as you breathe in,
Exhale grounding you down,
Knowing that you are safe,
That you are not alone,
That you have the power to generate your own safety,
That the ancestors that have come before you have survived and allowed you to be in this space now and you can let the past go into the earth and release what is out of your control,
Feeling yourself grounding into the now,
Breathing in,
Sighing out,
Repeating or simply listening to the affirmations.
I cultivate my own safety,
My intuition is always right and with me,
I trust where I am being led,
I am surrounded by those who love me,
I naturally gravitate to individuals,
Always wish and want the best for me,
I release outside validation and trust my inner arrow,
Release outside validation and trust my inner teacher and leader,
I am one with the vibrations and whispers of my intuition.
Can you feel that inner wisdom,
That energy,
And even possibly visualize yourself in your favorite place in nature,
Looking up at the stars?
You do not need what ifs to keep you safe,
You do not need reminders of the past,
Just the wisdom,
You don't need fear of the future,
Just the hope for the one you wish to cultivate,
And that is all right here,
In this visualization,
Favorite place in nature,
Staring up at the sky,
Release tension in the crown of your head,
Face,
Softening the eyes,
Releasing tension in the shoulders to elbows and elbows to fingertips,
Feeling the beat of your own heart pulsating in your chest as you release in the upper body,
Even your fingertips seem to let go,
Release tension in the belly and in the lower back and mid-back,
And this light washes down to the grounding place of your hips,
Your pelvis,
Your feet,
Your legs,
And you can simply just trust the strength there,
And if you think you've let go enough,
Let go even more until you feel one with the Earth that you are,
The spirit that you are,
Allow yourself to be one with your reality and one with your intuition,
Allow yourself to be one with your truths and one with your inner compass,
Trust,
And if you have a question in mind,
Your intuition to speak from this space,
May you always be protected,
May you always be divinely guided,
May you always listen to the whispers of your intuition,
Choosing trust,
Wants,
And divine guidance over any fears,
Over any doubts or uncertainties,
Trust where you are being led,
Know that you are worthy of all happiness coming your way,
Take a nice big deep inhale into the body and exhale,
Sigh out,
Let go,
And when you are absolutely ready,
Feel free to gently float the eyes open if you have them closed,
Connect with that energy,
With the world around you,
And into your body,
Feel the body slowly awaken and rise with this new energy.
