Hey there,
My name is Lisa and welcome to your intention-setting meditation invoking and honoring the celebration of Lunasa or Lamas.
Lunasa or Lamas in Celtic,
Gaelic,
And Pagan tradition marks the first harvest and in this tradition for fall we have three harvests.
The first one being Lunasa where we take a moment to reset,
Reflect,
Realign,
And also find a sense of gratitude even in the midst of struggle depending how your harvest feels for this time period.
So with that,
Come on into a comfortable position whether that be sitting or lying on down,
Taking a nice big deep inhale into the body,
And exhaling out,
And just allow yourself to breathe,
Inhaling for 1,
Exhale for 2,
Inhaling for 1,
Exhaling for 2,
Taking long deep breaths,
1,
2,
Let,
Inhale,
And exhale,
Continuing to breathe,
Nice and long,
Beginning to release tension in any part of the body that feels like it's holding on,
Inhaling into parts of the body for 1,
And exhaling for 2,
Letting go and releasing,
Cleaning the sleep.
And from this space I invite you to visualize a garden,
A farm,
A field in nature,
And in this space I want you to allow yourself to release anything that weighs on you,
Anything that comes to mind that you want to offer into this sacred earth,
Doubts,
Fears,
Worries,
Past hurt,
Or maybe it's just average everyday overwhelm with life,
Inhaling,
Breathing into what you wish to offer,
Exhale,
Offering it up,
Allowing the earth to soak up all this energy,
Breathing into what you wish to invite in,
Breathing into what you wish to release,
And exhale,
Release more into the earth,
Releasing any holding,
Releasing it all,
And the earth soaks up this energy,
It uses it as fertilizer for something new,
And from this space I ask you what needs to be harvested,
What needs to be seen,
What needs to be recognized,
What have you survived this past week,
Month,
Or year so far,
What are you grateful for,
What are you proud of,
I invite you to just thank yourself for being in this moment,
For being here,
For breathing,
For you being in the world,
Because with you just being in the world it automatically becomes a more fruitful place,
Breathing into what it is you wish to harvest,
Exhaling what you wish to release into the earth,
What intention do you wish to set,
What is calling to your soul,
What seeds do you wish to plant,
And if it calls to you naturally simply be thankful for all that you have and release the energy of taking for granted,
Or self-criticism,
Or feeling like you are not enough,
For you are enough,
With that bring yourself back to your intention and wrap yourself in this energy of releasing,
Of harvesting,
Of taking a moment to acknowledge all that you are grateful for,
All that you are,
And in this moment recognize these are the seeds,
The fertilizer,
And the harvest,
And only when you are ready begin to slowly wiggle fingers and toes or simply just connect with the world around you in a way that feels natural,
Integrating the world of this meditation and bringing this energy into your waking world.
I thank you for taking the time to meditate with me and practice with me.
So many blessings to you.
Namaste.
