If you're tired,
Scattered or stuck,
This is for you.
In just five minutes you'll feel clear,
Rounded and ready to move.
No fluff,
No woo-woo,
Just results.
Feet on the ground,
Let's begin.
You can do this guided meditation either sitting or lying down.
Feel your feet or your heels pressing into the floor.
Wiggle your toes a little.
Yep,
Those toes are yours.
Notice the weight in your heels,
The connection to the earth.
Let the grounded feeling gently rise up into your calves,
Your knees,
Your thighs,
Into your hips and lower back.
Notice your spine stacking itself nice and tall and effortless.
Connect to your chest,
To your heart.
Feel how your shoulders are softening,
Arms resting,
Hands relaxed in your lap or by your sides.
Now bring awareness to your neck,
Your jaw,
Your cheeks,
Your eyes,
Your forehead and the crown of your head.
Let everything soften.
Take a deep breath in and let it go with a slow sigh.
Now picture your mind like a quiet lake.
Thoughts,
Let them float by like little leaves on the water.
You don't need to chase them.
You're just sitting by the shore,
Breathing,
Observing these leaves as they are wandering over this quiet lake.
Letting them go and seeing how the quiet lake becomes more and more peaceful,
More and more clear of leaves.
Now think of one thing you wanted to do today,
Just one.
See this leaf appearing on this quiet lake.
No pressure,
Just bring it to mind.
Imagine what it feels like when it's already done.
That little spark of yes,
I did it.
Let that feeling grow with each breath in and settle deeper with each breath out.
When you're ready,
Move your fingers and toes a little.
Take one more breath in and a long exhale out.
Carry this calm focus back into your day.
And hey,
If five minutes made a difference,
Imagine what 15 could do.
Make sure to bookmark this lesson for when you need another shot of the day.
A shot of clarity or calm.
I'm bowing down in front of your discipline.
Namaste.
