Bismillah,
Rahman,
Rahim.
In the name of the one most compassionate,
Most merciful,
Most kind,
This is Mark Silver with Heart of Business and welcome to our Monday Community Remembrance.
I want to encourage you to take a nice gentle breath and just notice how you're feeling.
Just notice how you're feeling,
What's true,
And how much space there is.
There's so much space,
You don't have to make space for how you feel.
The fact that you feel that way means that there's already space.
And one thing that often comes up is just the sheer number of things that have to be done in a business.
And sometimes you have a project,
You're approaching a deadline,
There's a launch,
There's a project,
There's something that you're trying to get done and there's so many details.
It all feels so unwieldy and maybe even you ask for some support or advice and somebody gives you even more to do.
And so it feels like an overwhelming number of details.
It feels really unwieldy.
At the same time it feels like everything,
Your success,
Everything is riding on you handling this.
And there's nobody but you,
There's nobody but you here.
If you're in business,
If you're in life,
I'm sure you've faced this at least once,
Maybe regularly.
And so just letting yourself face it.
So much,
There's so much.
It's just crazy.
And what's also true is that our modern life is so complex,
There's so much to handle.
A hundred years ago life just wasn't this complex,
There wasn't paperwork and accounts and passwords and so much complexity.
There are things asked of our nervous system that our nervous system is never really prepared for in our evolution.
And so it's really important to face the reality of that when we bump up against these kinds of limits and overwhelm,
That it's not a personal failing,
That there's something real here.
And so what if you aren't crazy for feeling overwhelmed?
What if you aren't crazy for feeling like you're hitting a wall?
What if that's just sanity?
So wanting to encourage you to face that.
And just bringing in the remembrance,
Beginning to call through the open doorway of your heart,
The truth of the capacity of your nervous system,
The truth of the limited number of hours in a day,
The truth that whatever you take on will be handled imperfectly.
Is love available even here?
Is the divine present even here?
What is your heart's opinion?
What is your deep heart's opinion?
What does the divine oneness have to say?
What is it that the divine oneness has to say about what you're facing in your heart and who you are and what's possible?
Letting yourself feel authentic humility of what's true.
And inherent in this is also the acceptance of what's true about life in these times.
We have created a complex culture and society.
There is a lot that's being asked of our nervous system and this is what we're facing.
What's it like to not try to run away from that and not try to fix it and to just sit and face it?
Frame And just slowly gently letting your heart turn towards the love and turn towards the oneness.
Not rejecting,
Not refusing the reality,
But just knowing that you're not alone.
That your heart,
That any sense of disconnection and aloneness.
It's only you.
These thoughts are not ultimately true.
Just asking to be shown willing to be surprised.
What is here for you?
What is quite ghastly?
Oh.

I'm just asking the divine to expand your heart,
To expand your capacity to contain all that is being given to you,
All that is being handed to you,
All that is being shown to you.
Aloha.
And just keep remembering the presence of the divine,
Keep turning towards the source of love,
And just noticing what's true in your heart.
Aloha.
Aloha.
And let if you can just rest in a certain refuge of the heart and let yourself just face what's in front of you.
Gentle.
Aloha.
Aloha.
And just feeling your heart's containment,
Expanded containment,
And noticing what you notice about it,
The project,
Your business,
And what it looks like now to your heart and to your being.
And noticing any authentic gratitude or appreciation for anything that you might have experienced during this remembrance,
Letting yourself express that to the divine.
And if you're wanting to stay in remembrance,
You may,
And if it's time to move on with your day,
Just hold the remembrance in your heart and know that you can return to it in any breath.
Peace and love.
