Snippets of Wisdom number 68 The Joy of Just Being How much joy can we experience when we allow ourselves to just be?

What does just being really mean?

How would you describe this state of being?

What does just being feel like to you?

I saw this quote from Eckhart Tolle and wanted to share it with you.

In today's rush,

We all think too much,

Seek too much,

Want too much,

And forget about the joy of just being.

You mean I don't have to rush around doing all the things?

You mean I don't have to keep thinking about things to fill the void in my heart?

You mean I don't have to want every stinking thing I see others have?

You mean there is joy in just being?

You mean I could simply be at peace with where I am,

Even though I'll always be eager for more?

This quote from Abraham Hicks speaks to this.

You are pure positive energy that translates into the human emotion of joy.

When we stop long enough to realize that we are pure positive energy,

We will interpret it as the human emotion of joy.

As Meister Tolle said,

We forget the joy we can experience of just being.

Just being who we are is love and joy embodied.

Being who we are is freedom,

Well-being,

And clarity.

Being abundant,

Prosperous,

And exhilarating.

We don't always have to be on the go.

We can say no to doing so much that steals our joy because it makes us forget who we are.

We don't always have to think our way through every detail.

We can spend time in stillness.

Stillness is productive.

We don't always have to seek and want so much that it keeps us distracted from the present moment.

Of course,

We will eternally have desires for new things and experiences,

But we can be at peace right here,

Right now.

What if we enjoyed just being for a little while?

What if just being brought solutions before we even knew there might be a problem?

What if we allowed joy to awaken within us in stillness?

Take some time to feel the joy of just being relaxed,

Comfortable,

Quiet,

Knowing,

Inspired.

Tap into who you are as joy and just be for a little while.

Big hugs,

Marianne.
