Crown Chakra, the thousandfold petaled fragrant white lotus symbol, is our crowning achievement of feeling union or bliss with our true nature. This is enchanting because it's where we came from and where we are all returning; we just forget! Raul's beautiful guitar and Mary's Nidra journey help to gently guide us back into remembrance of where and who we truly are, at the core. Helpful for sleep, for wakeful present living, and for enjoying the creativity of being divinely human!

🎵 This is a crown chakra meditation for self-care,

Self-love,

For peace.

And for ease.

The crown chakra is the seventh of the seven chakras or wheels of energy that align along our spine.

For this meditation,

You may be comfortably seated.

Feel free to have your back entirely supported or to be seated up upon a cushion so it's a very easeful,

Restful posture.

For this meditation,

You are also entirely welcome to be reclined.

Allow your body to relax and surrender and sink down now with a long sighing exhale of release,

Letting your belly soften and your lips soften with the exhale.

Give yourself a long inhale,

Filling every cell of the body.

And once again surrender,

Release completely on the exhale as though with a sigh in your belly,

Your lips and your whole body.

And one more where you're washing the breath into the body.

Long inhale as long as you can and pause for a mere beat for a moment and then exhale fully,

Softly,

Surrendering.

And at the bottom of the exhale,

Pause again for just a beat a moment.

Good.

And now trust your body to just find its own natural,

Restful breath.

Receiving,

Surrendering and receiving and surrendering.

And as you continue to breathe,

We're going to invite in a specific ancient breathing technique that I call the fountain breath.

You will imagine on your next inhale that you are sweeping from your lower body up to your heart,

Anything you're ready to release.

And on your exhale you are sending that out through the crown of your head as though you were a fountain,

Exhaling,

Releasing,

Dispersing all around you a fine lavender mist.

Once again inhaling,

Scooping from the lower body up to the heart,

Whatever you're ready to surrender.

And on the exhale surrendering it up through the top crown of the head like a light lavender mist dispersing around you.

Continue this non-stop and non-hurry way of breathing.

And your body becomes like a beautiful fountain of energy.

The current on the inhale sweeps from the bottom of the body up to the heart and exhales out the crown dispersing,

Dissolving,

Creating an orb of shimmering protective energy around your body.

As you continue this fountaining current of breath,

Feel as though this inner fountain of breath we're rinsing,

We're cleansing,

We're literally clearing.

Physiologically and emotionally,

Energetically,

The entire inside of your body,

The bones,

The cells,

The muscles,

The blood vessels,

Each of your inhales draws in from the lower body to the heart,

Knots you're ready to untie.

And each of your exhales unties,

Unknots,

Sends it out the crown lightly dispersing lavender mist around you.

So then you are rinsing clear like your body is a decanter,

A crystal chalice rinsing it so that it disperses light more beautifully,

Is able to hold in it the most healing elixirs.

Inhaling lower body to heart,

Exhaling out the crown,

Creating that shimmering orb of lavender light energy around you.

Continue this fountain cleansing rinsing clearing breath and you may if you are inclined to enjoy sound in your mind,

Add a syllable to your inhale and your exhale.

The next time you inhale you might add the sound sat,

Sat to the heart and when you exhale add the sound yum,

Y-a-m,

Yum out the crown.

Inhaling sat,

Truth is what it means right to the heart,

Exhaling yum,

That's the heart chakras seed sound.

So the inhale draws truth to the heart and anything that's not truth,

The exhale yum is dissolving,

Untying,

Unknotting.

Inhale sat,

Truth to the heart,

Exhale yum out the crown as you continue this soothing,

Cleaning breath.

Know that this is the sat yum meditation.

Also known as the sat yum pranayama which just means breath practice and it is the sat yum kriya that is purification.

Practice all of those things in one.

Let the fountain wash through you now.

Washing,

Cleansing,

Soothing and clearing.

Sat yum,

Sat yum.

Continue this for as many more minutes during this and any other sat yum practice as you desire.

And notice that you might practice this at the beginning or right.

Or right in the middle of your day or right before bedtime.

And just notice the reset in your body and in your mind and in your breath honoring that fountain head,

Our own seventh chakra,

Wheel of energy,

The crown.

May you have a blissful,

Peaceful day or night.

Namaste.

The light in me salutes the light in you.
