Find a comfortable position,

Either seated or laying down.

Let your hands rest where they naturally want to land,

Making a choice with having your palms facing up to receive energy or palms facing down to ground yourself.

And when you're ready,

Gently close your eyes.

Take a slow breath in through your nose and a long,

Easy exhale out through your mouth.

Again,

Inhale for the count of four,

One,

Two,

Three,

Four,

And exhale to the count of six,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five,

Six.

And let your breath return to a natural rhythm.

Bring your mind to the thing that's been making money feel tight or scary lately.

Maybe it's gifts,

Travel,

Dining out,

Events.

Maybe it's the number in your bank account or on your credit card balance.

You don't have to push it away or fix it.

Just let it float in front of you like an image on a screen.

Notice how your body responds when you think about it.

Is there a clench in your chest,

A knot in your stomach,

A buzzing in your mind?

Wherever it is,

Place your hand on that area and silently say,

I notice you and I'm here with you.

Take a slow,

Gentle breath into that place in your body and exhale like you're releasing a little bit of pressure.

If there's a voice in your head that's saying it's not enough,

You should be further along.

You're messing this up.

Just notice it.

That voice is trying to protect you in the only way it knows how,

Through fear and comparison.

I invite you to quietly respond.

Thank you for trying to keep me safe.

I forgive myself for going into fear and I know I'm safe and enough in this moment.

Feel whatever is supporting you beneath your body,

The chair,

The couch,

The bed,

The floor.

Let it hold your weight.

With each inhale,

Imagine you're breathing in a sense of enoughness.

Not perfect,

Not unlimited,

Just enough.

Enough for this breath,

Enough for this moment.

With each exhale,

Release one layer of urgency.

The rush to fix or figure everything out today,

The pressure to buy your worth,

Prove your love or keep up.

Inhale and repeat to yourself,

I am supported in this moment and exhale,

I release the fear.

Now bring your attention to your heart space and place your hand there if it feels good.

Ask yourself gently,

What actually matters most to me in this season?

Maybe it's connection,

Rest,

Generosity,

But from a grounded place,

Not self-sacrificing.

Let one word rise to the surface.

This is your value for the season.

Hold that word in your mind as if you're placing it at the center of your table.

Breathe in and silently say that word to yourself.

And breathe out,

Imagine your financial choices aligning just a little more with that core value.

You don't have to solve any money problems today.

You just have to take the next step from a place of safety and truth and invest in your values,

Not others' expectations.

And silently repeat after me,

My worth is not my bank balance.

I am allowed to invest in my values and choose what truly matters.

I am safe in this moment to breathe.

Now take one slow,

Full breath in and a long,

Gentle breath out.

When you're ready,

Wiggle your fingers and toes,

Blink your eyes open,

And carry this feeling of enoughness and values aligned choices with you into the rest of your day and into every financial decision you make this season.

You got this,

My friend.

You
