We will get deeply relaxed so our bodies can heal and calm down our nervous system. Letting go of thoughts that may not serve you. We will then focus on gratitude so we can cultivate Joy and Peace even when we are going through challenging times.

Welcome.

My name is Mary Kay and I so appreciate you choosing to meditate with me.

In our practice today we will get deeply relaxed so our bodies can heal and then we will focus on gratitude.

Focusing on what we are grateful for can bring us joy and peace.

So let's go ahead and get started.

So I invite you now to get really comfortable as comfort is key.

Close your eyes softly to avoid any outside distractions.

Relaxing your lips and begin to focus on your breath.

Taking a long slow deep inhale to the silent count of five and a long slow exhale to the silent count of six.

We will continue to breathe deeply for a few more breaths.

Inhaling through your nose into your chest and into your belly and on your exhale allow yourself to relax and let everything go.

Taking long slow deep breaths is a signal for your body to relax and your nervous system to calm down.

Breathe deeply and set your intention to be here right now.

Connecting to this very moment.

Focusing on your breath and letting go of anything you did before this meditation and anything you'll do after.

Relax into your body and release any tension,

Any stress,

Any fears.

Know that you are safe and supported.

Continue to keep breathing deeply and give yourself permission to step into a deep meditative state.

Know that we are in a space of healing and acceptance.

This is a sacred space.

This is a sacred time that we have together.

Allowing your breath to relax you more and more.

Releasing stress so you can live in joy and peace.

Return now to your regular breath with its natural rhythm and depth and let go of any expectation you had about meditation as we are here to relax,

Release,

And nourish our mind and body.

This is your time to be still.

Go deep within into your inner world where there is peace and when you have a thought just come back to our breath.

Coming back to our focus.

So I invite you now to use your imagination and visualize a white healing light cascading down from the heavens.

This light is making us feel warm,

Safe,

Comfortable,

And secure.

The magnificent warm divine light is streaming down upon us and it's filled with love,

Kindness,

Compassion,

And bliss.

Trust the light and merge with it.

Feel the white healing light flowing into your body,

Into your cells,

And into your heart.

The soft waterfall of light enters the top of your head flowing through your crown chakra connecting you to divine wisdom.

It relaxes your scalp and your forehead.

Visualize the light pouring gently into your third eye illuminating your inner truth.

The wave of light flows down your face softening your eyes and all the muscles around your eyes,

Relaxing your cheeks,

Your ears,

And your jaw.

The warm healing light pours down your neck into your throat clearing all the stories that were never yours to own.

Feel tension melt away as you release all that does not serve you.

Drop your shoulders away from your ears as liquid light pours down your arms like warm honey,

Relaxing your elbows,

Your wrists flowing into your hands and relaxing each one of your fingers.

Sink deeper into relaxation as the light wraps you like a blanket and enters the center of your chest,

Flooding your heart in light,

Igniting your soul's fire.

Visualize the flame expanding and glowing brighter and brighter with every breath.

Release and let go,

Surrendering as the liquid light begins to relax your solar plexus right at your ribcage,

Releasing stuck energy where your purpose becomes your power.

Visualize the stream of white light continuing to flow and pulsating into every cell,

Tissue,

And organ.

The stream of light moves into your sacral chakra where love becomes creation.

The light ignites your passion,

Amplifying your desires.

The warm liquid light moves into your root chakra,

Grounding you to the earth.

Your hips and pelvis melt into the surface,

Relaxing your thighs,

Your knees,

Your calves,

And entering your feet.

Surrounded by divine light,

Inviting ease and comfort into your body with every breath.

Feeling completely at peace,

Settle into this cocoon of light and to place your awareness on your heart,

Focusing on your heart where love,

Compassion,

Empathy,

And forgiveness lives.

Visualize this sphere of light filling your entire heart with golden warmth.

Feel this warmth deeply inside of your heart.

Focusing on this golden light,

We will begin to focus on gratitude,

Being thankful for the fact that we are alive,

That we are breathing and we are here right now,

Grateful for your heart beating,

For your cells replenishing themselves without you having to think about it,

Being grateful for the abundance and harmony of nature which provides nourishment for your body and soul,

Feeling thankful for the beauty of this earthly life that brings us so many highs but also many lows.

When we are facing issues that trouble our hearts,

One thing I remind myself to do is to lean into gratitude.

When I turn my attention to something that I'm grateful for,

It can turn the darkness into light.

I realize that this too shall pass.

In this moment,

We are okay.

We will survive this.

We are stronger than we ever imagined.

So let's go deeper into what we are grateful for and start to bring your attention to people who truly nourish you in your life,

How they bless you with their presence.

Imagine the presence of someone you love and feel the love you have for them and the love they have for you.

Experience your most gentle nature,

The softest,

Most peaceful side of you,

Breathing in soothing love and give it away each time you exhale.

See your loved one before you as they receive all this healing love energy,

Wrapping them in a blanket of your love.

Include now appreciation for your own life,

Gratitude for all the people who were kind and lifted you up.

Know yourself as a kind,

Generous,

Loving human being,

Keeping your attention on your heart and allow gratitude to flow through your heart and into every cell of your body.

Being grateful for the hard times for making you stronger and grateful for all the lessons that made you wiser.

We will continue to take a few more moments to focus on what you are grateful for,

All the things that bring you joy.

So absorb the healing frequency washing over your entire body and merge with gratitude.

Grateful hearts,

We will recite some positive affirmations silently repeating after me.

I am calm.

I am safe.

I am joyful.

As you come back into the feelings of your physical body,

Continue to carry this feeling of gratitude and positive affirmations with you for the rest of your day.

I encourage you to start each day with three things you are grateful for as gratitude shifts your perspective so that no matter what is happening in your life or the life of your loved ones,

You can be joyful.

I am so grateful to you for taking time out of your day to meditate with me.

I am grateful for this special time we had together and I wish you so much joy,

Harmony,

Love,

And peace.

When you are ready,

You can begin to gently move your body and gently open your eyes and I thank you again for this moment we shared together.
