Lesson 1
The History Of The Irish Encircling Prayer (Caim)
In this lesson, I will introduce you to the origins, historical significance, and spiritual context of the Irish Encircling Prayer, also known as the Caim prayer. Lesson 3
An Embodied Practice Of Caim
The Celts were very spiritual people and we know that their belief system was not just to the Gods but also to the moon, the sun, the stars, the rivers, the animals, and the trees.
I am grateful that so many Celtic traditions from music, language, mythology, and spiritual rituals have been passed down and can provide solace and healing today. In this lesson, I invite you to a practice of Caim.

Lesson 4
Making The Caim Practice Your Own
This lesson includes some guidelines for your ongoing, deepening practice of Caim. I include the chant - Caim Agus Currach which at once connects you with the living tradition of this prayer and also invites you into deeper meditation so that your natural Caim will emerge for you. - I encourage you to evoke the Caim prayer into your life whether you have a faith tradition or not. You can connect with the ground of your being, your place in the cosmos, source or divine, or whatever is your direct experience of living this human life, not as isolated human beings but as part of the ongoing unfolding interconnectedness of this human experience. Whatever way you experience the connection you can feel the protective energy surrounding you. I would love to hear about your experience in the course classroom and whether we can celebrate the variety of ways we can continue this ancient living tradition.
