Relief From Chronic Pelvic Pain For Women: Breath, Somatics, And More

With Yaicha Bryan

Chronic pelvic pain is multi-faceted. The pain may have started with an organic reason, such as an ovarian cyst, endometriosis, fibroids etc., but has continued to linger despite the initial cause having resolved. Or for some, it may have started and then persisted without a known cause. Typically, even if we are not aware of it, when there is pelvic pain, there is also pelvic floor dysfunction - which makes our pain experience even worse. This course will teach you breath techniques to relax your pelvic floor and therefore ease pain. We will also delve into other pain contributors (such as stored emotion), as well as explore your personal relationship to pain. My biggest goal is to give you tools you can use outside of our time together to manage, and over time, decrease your pain. Here are some of the examples of topics we will explore: -The many contributors to Pelvic Pain (stress, lack of sleep, trauma, stored emotion, and more) -Mechanics of the Pelvic Floor, and how this relates to breath -Techniques to relax the pelvic floor and ease pain -How to find resource within the body -How to communicate with your pain -How to understand your pain on a deeper level -How pain pathways work, and how we can work with them to our advantage -How to Transmute, or change, how you experience pain *NOTE - If you have experienced pelvic pain for over 3 months, and have not been examined by a health care provider, please do so. This course is designed for those who have lingering pain, despite there no longer being a medical reason for their pain. Pain is a powerful communicator, and could be telling you something is really wrong. If you're not sure, go get assessed so you can be sure*

We will then go back into the pelvic floor breath from lesson 1, then we will add a breath stacking technique to it. We will also pay attention to the energetic quality we are sending to the pelvis with our breath.

I’ve suffered with pelvic pain dysfunction for almost ten years now. I found this course when I was going through a flare and found some of these techniques really helpful. It’s definitely worth a listen. Very grateful for additional tools I hadn’t yet discovered in my years of navigating this condition.

Thank you so much. I tried your course to help me deal with the discomfort of fibroids in the womb and the yoga nidra was especially helpful to deal with the pain. I have included it into my daily routine to help my body rest, digest and rejuvenate from daily impulses. Thank you, XO Marianne
