At times our minds get incredibly busy.
Trains of thought take us on journeys into the past and future.
Meditation gives us an opportunity to get off those trains,
To sit at the station of our thoughts and to see things as they really are.
Let's take a look by closing our eyes,
Resting down.
Once you're feeling comfortable and aligned,
Finding the breath,
Finding your breath now,
Inviting a full deep breath,
And opening to the release of the breath.
Finding the breath,
Opening yourself to the fullness of the breath,
The fullness of the inhale,
And then the fullness of the exhale.
Being completely open and allowing.
Any thoughts that want to come along,
That's fine.
We're just noticing thoughts.
Open and allowing.
See if you can notice any of those thoughts.
And as we notice,
We see that it's possible for us to notice thought.
We see that thoughts only become thinking when we engage with them.
Finding the fullness of the breath,
Whilst you remain open and aware of any thoughts.
All you need to do is to be right where you are.
Being right where you are,
Sitting here in meditation.
Here in meditation,
We sit at the station of our thoughts.
Aware and allowing.
