Experience the sacred sound of AUM in this meditative chanting journey. We begin with a short introduction and gentle arrival, then chant the mantra AUM 108 times together – in rhythm and resonance. AUM is said to harmonize body, mind and spirit, inviting clarity, inner balance, and presence. Let the sound guide you, whether you chant aloud, hum softly, or simply listen. After the chanting, we rest in silence, allowing the vibration to settle and integrate. Use this track as a daily ritual or whenever you need to reset and reconnect. No experience needed – just your breath and an open heart. Extract from our Insight Timer Live Session on June 5. Follow me to join upcoming live sessions and chant together! Namaste Monika

Welcome and good morning.

My name is Monika and I'm so happy to chant with you today in this morning chanting circle.

You don't need much for this session,

Just your voice,

Your breath and an open heart.

If you'd like you can also have your mala to count the chants,

But that's completely optional.

I have my mala,

I will count for you and I invite you to just have a seat and please sit in a way that feels grounded and easeful,

On a cushion,

On a chair or a yoga mat.

Let's just take a moment to land,

Close your eyes,

Feel the support beneath you,

Let your spine rise gently,

Bring your awareness to your breath.

Let's take three deep breaths together,

So inhaling through your nose and deep exhale.

Long inhale and exhale.

One more time,

Inhaling through your nose and exhale.

Today we will chant the sacred mantra Aum 108 times and Aum is a primordial sound often called the sound of creation,

Connecting body,

Mind and spirit and each syllable has a meaning so Aum is the waking state,

Aum the dream state and Aum the deep sleep or stillness.

We chant 108 times because 108 is a sacred number representing wholeness,

The rhythm of life and cosmic unity and there is no experience needed.

You are welcome to chant aloud,

Just hum softly or simply sit in the resonance.

Let your voice be your anchor and your breath your guide.

We will begin gently with three slow Aums together to find our rhythm and then we will start the 108 times.

So let's inhale deeply,

Aum and now we begin the 108 repetitions.

I'll be chanting with you and using my Mahler to count.

Let the vibration just carry you,

Soften your face,

Soften your jaw and simply be.

Inhaling for Aum.

Let's rest in silence and feel the afterglow.

Let the vibration settle in your body and breath.

Notice what is present.

There's nothing to do,

Just being here now.

You may want to place a hand on your heart or your belly.

Simply breathing,

Receiving,

Gently begin to deepen your breath,

Gently move your fingers and toes and take a moment to thank yourself for showing up,

For chanting,

For simply being present.

If you wish,

Bring your hands together in front of your heart.

Let's close with one final Aum as a blessing for this day.

Take a deep inhale.

Thank you so much for joining.

May your day unfold with clarity,

Balance and joy.

Have a beautiful day.

Namaste.
