Welcome to today's daily practice with me Nikhil and today we are going to choose a peaceful environment where you can relax without distractions.
Sitting or lying down in a comfortable position with your back straight and relaxed.
Let's begin by taking a few deep breaths.
Inhale slowly through your nose allowing your abdomen and belly to rise as you fill your lungs with air and exhale gently through your mouth releasing any tension or stress that is present for you right now and repeating this breath for a few moments and each time you take this breath in you invoke your intention for the day.
So taking this deep in-breath and letting it go and repeating this breathing for a few moments as long as you wish allowing yourself to fully settle into this present moment and finding your stillness.
Set your intention to relax and visualize yourself in the presence of some majestic mountains so you are surrounded by their beauty and strength.
Visualize yourself arriving at the base of a grand mountain observe its massive size,
Its towering peaks and the rugged terrain that leads to the summit.
Take a moment to appreciate the vastness and beauty of the mountain that surrounds you and this could be something of a place where you have been or something you have imagined or seen and as you stand at the base of the mountain feel a sense of grounding and stability.
Imagine the roots extending from your feet connecting you deeply with the earth.
Embrace the strength and resilience that mountains represent.
Look up at the mountain and notice its features.
Observe the rocky cliffs,
The snowy capped mountains,
The lush greenery that clings to its slopes.
And take in the details of the mountain's unique landscape.
And as we continue our practice whenever you notice your mind has wandered you simply come back to this image of the mountains.
As you climb notice the beauty of the surrounding nature.
Observe the vibrant wildflowers,
The cascading waterfalls,
The falls and the awe-inspiring views that unfold with each step.
As you continue your climb notice the silence that envelops you.
Listen to the gentle breeze whispering through the trees,
The distant sound of birds and the peace that accompanies the mountain environment.
Allow the silence to bring a sense of tranquility to your mind and body.
Allow the nature to take over you.
And again if you notice your mind has wandered away from this imagination or this visualization practice simply notice where it is and bring it back to this idea of a mountain and how you are ascending towards its peak.
After a steady climb you reach the summit of the mountain.
Take a moment to rest and marvel at the breathtaking panoramic view that unfolds before you.
Witness the vastness of the landscape,
The rolling hills and distant valleys.
As you stand on the summit envision the energy of the mountain infusing your being.
Feel its strength and stability resonating within you.
Allow yourself to absorb the sense of empowerment and perspective that the mountain offers.
Take a moment to express gratitude for the experience of being in the presence of the mountain.
Reflect on the beauty,
Strength and inspiration.
Offer thanks for the opportunity to connect with nature in this profound way.
Now I invite you to be in this state for as long as you need.
Just coming back to the breath noticing your breath right now.
Noticing the in-breath,
The coolness,
The out-breath,
The warmth and gently bring your attention back to your breath and body.
And take a moment to appreciate the time you dedicated to this guided visualization.
And when you are ready,
I invite you to open your eyes if they were closed and carry the sense of strength and stability,
Beauty and perspective,
Clarity of thought with you.
The calmness,
The breath,
All of the intentions we cultivated before the practice and carry that with you into the rest of your day.
Thank you for taking the time out and practicing with me.
