I'll invite you to close your eyes now.

Breathe a little slower and deeper than you normally would.

Finding an easy rhythm.

In and out.

Good.

Now taking your hands out in front of you,

Begin to rub your palms together.

Just going slowly at first.

And then start to pick up the pace a little.

We are waking up our stagnant energy.

Just warming up the hands.

Now take your hands and place them on your face.

Palms cupping your cheeks.

Holding your own face like a mother holding the face of her beloved child.

And just breathe here for a few slow breaths.

Just holding yourself here.

Good.

Now move both hands to cross over the center of your chest.

And bring your awareness to your beautiful heart.

Keep the steady rhythm of slow deep breaths.

Focus your attention on the breath going in and out of your heart space.

Focus your attention on the breath going in and out of your heart space.

Filling it with spaciousness and light on the inhale.

And releasing anything heavy or tight on the exhale.

Good.

Breathe in.

Welcoming in the light.

Breathe out.

Releasing anything you don't need in this moment.

Now let's welcome a regenerative heart quality into the system.

Today we're going to call upon compassion.

Self-compassion.

Which is grace for yourself in the moment.

I'm going to read to you a little poem by David White.

This poem is called Enough.

Enough.

These few words are enough.

If not these words,

This breath.

If not this breath,

This sitting here.

This opening to life we have refused again and again and again until now.

Until now.

So now I would just invite you to welcome self-compassion into your heart.

Just let it ride on your breath.

Breathe in.

Welcome it in.

Breathe out.

Let it sink in deep into the core of you.

Good.

Taking a few more breaths this way.

Breathing in.

Welcoming it.

Welcoming more self-compassion.

Breathing out.

Imagining it sinking deep into your core.

Into every cell in your body.

Every cell in your body.

Good.

Now focus on growing the self-compassion.

Larger and larger in your heart.

You can imagine it like a white light.

Expanding and getting brighter.

Maybe sparkling in your heart.

Just watching it grow.

Now we're going to invite this white light of self-compassion to grow even more.

To spill out of your heart.

To begin to fill each and every cell in your body.

You can watch the sparkle and feel the warmth as it travels down into your lungs.

Down your torso.

Down through your pelvis.

Down your legs.

And see it pooling in the feet.

Good.

Now coming back to the heart.

And you can watch and feel that warmth and light move up into your chest,

Your throat,

Up through your head,

Into your crown space.

And see as it comes up and out.

Just spills out of the top of your head and into your energetic field that surrounds you.

This white light is infused with the power and presence of your heart.

It's filled with self-compassion.

Grace for yourself.

Just watch it fill your field and reach to the very edges of your aura.

Notice how you are alive within it and how it is alive within you.

How does this feel?

Just take a moment to get to know this feeling.

And seal it in.

Good.

And when you feel satisfied,

You can begin to deepen the breath.

Bring awareness back into the body.

Welcoming some gentle movement.

Wiggling the fingers and the toes.

Maybe nodding the head yes and no.

Rolling the shoulders.

And coming back to the room.

You can flutter your eyes open.

And come back to this moment.
