It is safe to have leftovers.
It is safe to not stop at the store every time you are out or leave your home.
It is safe to save some for later.
It is safe to eat small amounts,
Small meals.
It is safe to not have a stretched over full bloated stomach.
It is safe to feel light and fit.
It is safe to feel pangs of hunger.
You will not starve.
You will not die.
You will be okay.
You are safe in the uncomfortable.
Drop into your body.
Feel the sensations.
Notice the different sounds.
It is okay.
You are okay.
You are safe.
It is safe to not eat everything in front of you.
It is safe to not have seconds.
It is safe to have seconds if your body is still hungry.
It is safe to feel peace,
Ease,
Comfort,
Light,
And empty in body.
It is safe.
It is okay.
It is safe to only eat when your body is hungry.
You will be okay between meals and snacks,
And especially at night.
You are safe.
It is safe to politely decline a food offering if your body is not hungry,
Or if it's a food that your body does not want.
It is safe to take care of yourself and your food choices.
It is okay to say no.
If you must,
It is safe to throw food away.
It is safe to not overeat just because the food is free.
It is safe to nourish your body when your body is hungry.
It is safe to find comfort in other ways than food.
It is safe to allow your body to get hungry.
It is safe to love and accept your body exactly how it is in this moment.
Breathe.
You are okay.
It is safe to eat in front of others.
It is safe to eat before you leave home.
It is safe to make the right food choices for your body,
No matter how weird,
Strange,
Or odd it may appear to another.
It is safe to let go of guilt and shame around food,
Your body,
Your eating habits,
And behaviors.
You are safe.
You are okay.
It is safe to eat slowly,
Consciously.
Eating is not a race.
Even if it were,
Slow and steady wins the race.
It is safe to feel good after eating.
It is safe to feel good and satisfied after eating.
It is safe to feel good,
Period.
It is safe to listen to your body.
Your body knows what it needs to function and operate properly.
It is okay to drive by the store without stopping.
It is okay to say no when your body is full or no longer wants what you are feeding it.
It is safe to stop eating when your body is comfortably full.
In order for the body to lose weight,
Release weight,
If it wants to and if it needs to,
Both the mind and body must feel safe.
It is safe to lose weight.
Body,
It is safe to lose weight.
You are safe.
In this moment,
In the here and now,
You are safe.
