I'm just wondering if you can talk about the importance of intent.
Well,
Where our intentions carry us,
If somebody's functioning from their heart,
Their intent will be beneficent and it will,
They will be able to witness the power of it.
We can feel really powerless,
But if we look,
Our lives occur much as we expect.
Much as we expect.
It's kind of what happened,
Good and bad.
It's like,
Yeah,
I knew it would happen that way.
Because if we're asleep,
That's our level of intent really,
That we kind of knew it was going to happen that way.
I mean,
It's sad really.
Because we have enormous power and when you mobilize,
When you activate your kind of leaning,
And your power of your heart,
Then you can tap into the miraculous by your intent.
So the journey from somebody beginning a spiritual journey and finishing as a self-realized master is miraculous and they did it through their intent.
We have a tendency,
Our ego feels very powerless underneath.
So we have a tendency to think badly of ourselves frequently,
To be overly critical,
And to totally underestimate our capacities.
And then we live that.
We go,
Oh,
I'm unhappy,
And we might go help,
Help,
And go and seek help.
But if we don't really believe that it's possible to change,
Then it tends to stay stagnant.
And then depending if the help we get,
If the person has cleared a lot of their ego and is moved into truth,
Then just going to that person can open the doors and activate our deeper intent.
And we say,
Hey,
I can have a better life.
I can be happy.
And so then we become that.
But if that person has not done any deeper work on their own ego,
Then they can't lead somebody beyond that.
Amma says that if we're in our pregnancy,
Or at the point of conception in pregnancy,
If we have the conscious intent about what kind of child we wish,
We will get that child.
That's how powerful our intent is.
If we want,
Say,
A brilliant,
Noble child,
Then she says we will get that.
But most of us,
We don't realize that our intent,
We might be having children,
We might be going,
Oh,
I hope this child isn't like Uncle Harry.
Or,
Oh,
I hope I don't have a child like my mother.
So you see what I mean?
Because that's like our intent.
And then that runs things.
That's how powerful it is.
It's such a revolution to realize that you get your intent.
It's the same as watching your thoughts,
Watch your thoughts,
Observe your thoughts,
You will observe your intent.
We're transmitting this stuff all the time.
I talk about,
You know,
If you have a radio that's got a lot of static,
It will play static.
It will receive and play static.
If we're carrying a lot of static over our ego,
Noisy ego,
Over our deeper,
Loving intent,
We'll just reap the static.
Life comes in and we perceive it through the static of whatever our ego is telling us.
And then when we give out,
It's contaminated by the ego or the static.
So if you go to the work to actually retune yourself,
Clean your circuits,
Then you can,
When you perceive life,
You will see it very differently than what you saw when you were looking at it through ego eyes.
And different things will happen for you.
You make a shift,
Your reality will change.
If you shift into self-love,
If your heart opens,
If you're sitting all by yourself and your heart opens,
Then when you next go out into the world,
You will experience some heart-touching event where even the clerk at the grocery store speaks a kind word to you.
It's you're the receiver.
You have actually steered it by what's happened in you.
