So go ahead and allow yourself to get comfortable somewhere,
Either laying down on a yoga mat on the floor or sitting in a comfortable seated position.
Wherever you are,
Go ahead and just take a deep breath in now and then allow yourself to let that breath out through your nose.
In and then out.
With each breath in,
Feel your lower belly expanding and then contracting,
Expanding and then contracting.
With each breath in,
Allowing your entire body to relax totally and completely.
With each breath out,
Feeling your body letting go of any stress or tension you might be holding on to.
As you continue to expand and contract,
Relaxing even deeper with each breath,
I'd like you to go ahead and take your awareness and attention to the top of your head.
As you continue to breathe deeply,
Go ahead and imagine a wave of relaxation washing over your entire body.
From the very tip top right above your scalp,
All the way down your face,
Your neck,
Shoulders,
Arms,
Wrists,
Hands,
Chest,
Upper back,
Spinal column,
Lower back,
Stomach,
Abdomen.
Really be sure to let go and relax into the muscles of your stomach and abdomen,
Allowing yourself to breathe even more deeply into this space.
Relaxing your hips,
Your thighs,
Calves,
Ankles,
And feet.
Allow your entire body to relax totally and completely now,
Just letting go.
Begin to first become aware of the sounds surrounding you.
Listening deeply and letting those sounds move through each eardrum with each breath that passes through your nostrils.
With each breath,
Feeling your body relaxing even more deeply as you become comfortable and content wherever you're seated.
Breathing in and out,
In and out.
Feel yourself sinking even more deeply into the chair or floor that you're sitting or lying on.
And as you relax even deeper,
Even more deeply,
I'd like you to go ahead and take your awareness and attention to your heart now.
Breathing in deeply with each beat of your heart,
Feeling yourself relaxing deeper down into the center of your heart.
And as you come in contact with this battery of life,
Pumping ever so steadily,
Ever so smoothly,
Keeping you alive,
Healthy,
And so deeply rested and relaxed.
I'd like you to imagine yourself opening a dialogue between you and this beautiful heart of yours resting inside of your chest.
With each breath,
Allow yourself to listen more deeply to the rhythm of your heartbeat.
And as you relax even more,
Becoming even more peaceful,
I'd like you to go ahead and ask in this space,
Ask your heart how you can love yourself more fully in your life here and now.
Breathe deeper,
Asking this question and allow the answers to bubble up however they want to come.
Whenever you have your answer,
However it comes,
Know that you will remember this and take this guidance with you throughout the rest of your day,
The rest of your week.
And know that by simply following these suggestions from your heart,
You are already learning to love yourself in a deeper way.
With each breath in,
Knowing that in loving yourself in this way,
You are strengthening your body,
Heart,
And mind to create all the changes you want for yourself in your life here and now.
With each breath in,
Feeling at peace and so deeply rested,
Content in the love that exists within you and within the center of your heart.
And when you're ready,
Taking your time,
Slowly begin to come back to the seat or the mat that you are lying on,
Feeling filled with a sense of inner peace,
Calm,
And tranquility held in this deeper sense of self-love.
And when you are ready,
You can open your eyes and come all the way back.
