How To Audit Your Energy And Optimise It
by Raj Gorsia
A recording of the live session on the 27th of January 2022. In this session i started with a song that lights up my energy. Then we went through an audit of our energy, and i talked about how to optimise it. Physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. I take you through them all, and at the end i talk about why spiritual is the most potent source, but requires the others. This was a very practical session. If you get anything from it, I'd love to hear from you. Write to me on social media

So,
Yeah,
If you start to get to know me,
You'll realize I ask people one.
I ask them the one question.
I always say like,
If you can have one,
What would it be?
Just to get into focus and to be decisive and committed to something.
What's the one song you take with you?
John Coltrane,
My favorite thing.
I haven't heard that either Dave.
Nice one.
I'm gonna have to write that one down.
Bright Lights Weekend.
I'll check that out too.
Rocky Raccoon.
You guys are giving me some great songs.
You know,
I used to listen to a lot of rap music when I was younger and I posted something on my social media about this today about realizing,
You know,
As I've got wiser and on this path of spirituality,
All these like crazy insights are appearing into my awareness.
And I realized the other day that I used to love rap music and you know how they talk about like I'm gonna shoot you up and I'm gonna,
You know,
I'm gonna,
You know,
All this stuff like I listen to very violent rap music,
Let's say things like 50 Cent and stuff like that,
Eminem,
Gang music.
And they talk about like protecting yourself and I'm gonna be better than that guy and there's danger around the corner,
All that stuff,
Right?
And I wondered like why did I used to like that stuff so much?
And it clicked for me the other day.
I started listening to the lyrics and I realized it's because they're talking about fighting someone.
I was feeling like I was fighting myself.
So whenever they talked about like violence and someone's here to get me or I'm gonna,
You know,
All that stuff,
It related to me because I was fighting myself.
It got me pumped.
It got me pumped to raise my and be better than the voices in my head and not let them defeat me.
I remember really like getting into it and starting to lift weights and stuff like that.
Again,
Like all the violent music,
Rock music,
I got into rock music when I was lifting weights.
It's them against themselves,
Really.
That's what they're getting out.
They're expressing the inner war that's going on inside of them.
That's what's coming out of them.
That's what I used to feel.
It used to make me feel great.
But not so much ultimately because it just created a lot of aggression.
The good thing was I put all of that aggression into weightlifting.
So it allowed me anxiety fueled.
You know,
Imagine like someone who's living in fight or flight.
That's what I was basically.
I was living in fight or flight.
So I had so much adrenaline,
So much energy,
So much power.
So I lifted really,
Really heavy weights.
It helped me lift heavier weights.
And that was my path for a long time before I got into spirituality.
And the reason why I'm starting off with this story is because energy is the thing that's ruling us at the core.
This session is all about energy.
Energy practice.
Energy is ruling us at core.
Like how pumped up are we?
How inspired?
How alive do we feel?
And then there's the other end which is like how still can we be?
How calm can we be?
How much poise can we have?
We can be like a painter,
Precise with the strokes.
You know,
Like martial arts.
Some of them are very focused on sharpness.
Because they're combining,
They're tapping into the energy of stillness but moving.
So before we begin,
Someone asked me what my favourite song was.
I'm going to play one.
Let me see.
I don't know if this is the song I'd take with me.
What's up,
Jesse?
Yeah I don't know if this is the song I would take with me but I'm going to play one that comes to mind.
Tell me if you can hear this.
Let me put it a little bit quieter.
Who knows the song?
I feel it in my heart.
Feel it in my heart.
Instantly feel energised.
Keep absorbing it.
Keep feeling it.
Feel this inside you.
I'm starting to sweat.
I sound excited,
Okay.
Feel it.
Feel yourself waking up.
Listen to this for you.
Notice what thoughts come up for you.
Notice what thoughts come up.
Alright guys.
He says I didn't know I was lost.
I didn't know I was lost.
Alright guys.
So how do you feel after listening to that song?
That song I remember listening to it when I was really waking up.
I was literally waking up and I would be driving to work.
I'd be driving to this job I really didn't like.
So my 30 minutes of the morning I'd be firing up this music,
Driving to work.
And some of the lyrics hit me because he said things like I wish I could travel the world.
I don't have any plans.
And at the time I was dreaming of travelling the world.
So I kept listening to it on repeat on repeat.
And like all the lyrics that he was saying just hit me hard.
Got me fired up.
When you see the power of the mind,
Of the energy when you hear a song,
When you feel something in your body.
It doesn't matter what's happening for you.
Once you can get into that place of feeling something in your body.
Mind thinking worries they go away for a moment.
Maybe for longer.
You access an altered state.
And eventually I did travel the world.
I was lucky enough to do that.
But what was happening was I was waking up.
That's why I love this song.
I was really waking up.
And I started making some real changes in my life.
I was living in fight or flight.
I was overeating.
You know in that job I had I was driving to work.
So I would be.
And they had like a cafeteria in the office.
So drive to work,
Park my car.
I'd have breakfast there.
And the cafeteria was so cheap because we're staff.
So I would just be like oh my god I've got to make the most of this.
So I'd eat breakfast twice.
I'd eat it again after.
And then I'd have lunch there as well.
And then I'd go buy a sandwich.
I'll have a coffee or a tea.
And then I'd drive home.
So I was just piling on food and piling on the calories.
I got really overweight actually.
So that's one aspect of our energy.
This session is all about energy audit.
Think about the foods you're putting into yourself and how you're moving through your day.
I used to count calories.
When I was really trying to lose weight and stuff I started counting calories.
But now I realize it doesn't have to be that strict.
If you're living an actual lifestyle,
If you're putting things into your body consciously,
Then your body can start using that.
So if you have a pen,
This is what I'd like you to do.
Or you can do it on your phone.
You can do it in your head if you want.
Grab a piece of paper and draw a line down the middle.
On one side of the piece of paper write down things that energize me.
Things that energize me.
Just write down the title of it.
On the other side of the paper write things that take my energy away.
And we're going to start this audit with the physical body.
Physical habits.
What is,
Or what are,
The physical habits that create energy for you?
Just write a few of them down on your piece of paper.
You have to participate in this.
This is how you're going to get the most of it.
Write down a few things that create energy for you.
With your physical bodies,
It could be foods,
This could be sleeping habits,
This could be movement,
Whatever.
And then on the other side write down things that take your energy away.
And just write down a few things.
It's interesting.
I used to think that having a lot of dessert gave me energy.
Sugar.
So I went through this phase of eating a dessert every day.
Every single day for like a few years.
Even when I was in my prime condition physically,
I was still doing this.
I was like,
Dessert,
Yes!
But it gives you this quick buzz.
And then you sit there like,
Oh,
My stomach.
So it did for me anyway.
So just order everything down.
What gives you energy,
What takes it away.
And we're going to see how this comes together as we build in this session.
The next thing I want you guys to ponder upon is your mind.
This is actually the biggest one,
I'd say.
And think about what kind of thoughts create energy for you.
Thoughts and feelings create energy for you.
And which ones take them away.
So continue the exercise.
And what I see is the thoughts of,
I am worthless.
I am lazy.
I am a this type of person.
I am anxious.
That was my one.
I'm an anxious person.
I'm just an anxious person.
And I am lazy came up for me quite a lot actually.
Or I'm a procrastinator.
I'm a perfectionist.
I hear that one a lot too.
It doesn't really make sense though.
Because I am is a noun.
It's like I'm stating,
Oh,
I am this cup.
I am.
I am this cup.
I definitely believe that I am this cup.
That doesn't make sense.
We can't be something.
Because these things are impermanent.
Feeling lazy sometimes.
That's okay.
Sometimes I have lazy occurrences.
You know as soon as we make things personal and we give them that element of permanence,
We become like this frozen ice cube.
This frozen ice cube that's just,
Nothing's happening.
And this can happen for years and years.
Staying in this state of I am this.
It's like a box is around us.
Personality.
You know like all these personality tests and all these things that classify us as things.
Diagnosis.
You might go to a therapist and they'll say you are this.
I'm going to diagnose you as this.
So what often happens is the patient that's come and that's what they call them,
Patients has come and they start believing because this therapist who has qualifications and has this job has told me this.
I am this.
I am clinically depressed.
So we're stuck now.
And it becomes a thing that has become a noun like I am the cup.
So just audit.
What kind of thoughts create energy for you and which ones take them away?
Something I like to do is I created a declaration document.
I created some of these I ams but in a different way.
For example,
I am the energy of life.
I am everything and I am nothing.
That is using this tool now of thinking rather than the tool of thinking.
So play the game.
Let me know what comes up in the comments so far.
What are you guys feeling?
If you're still ready to dance or not perhaps we'll do some of that later.
What comes up for you in the comments?
Yeah,
Kristy says I'm fickle to get out of fight or flight.
You know what has been the biggest thing for me around energy is using it as a tool now.
So,
I used to judge the high level of sensitivity that I had.
Fight or flight.
I used to judge it as something bad.
Now it's like I can go in,
I can do that at will.
People say to me like Raj,
How do you get in such energized states and get all this stuff done?
And you're like buzzing.
It's because now I've unlocked that as a tool.
It's useful now this fight or flight thing.
Adrenaline,
This charge of energy.
Instead of it being my enemy and using me.
I don't know if that makes sense.
Does that make sense anyone?
Yeah,
Dave says ads I am enough subtracts I am not enough.
Yeah.
You know like with affirmations and stuff.
I've not really been a fan of affirmations for a long time.
Because I think it can be like trying to kid yourself.
Your brain will be like,
You know you'll say I am enough,
I am enough.
But if you're not really believing that at the maximum.
Your brain will be like yeah,
Yeah right.
You can say it all you want.
It's not happening.
I don't believe you.
So writing out affirmations and doing it like a mechanical thing.
I don't think that helps at all.
It can become delusion.
It can become a spirit.
But if it comes from within as a pure like a pure knowing,
A pure energy.
Then the word is just a representation of what you feel inside.
You know I can say the word for example.
I can say miraculous.
I can say miraculous.
Miraculous.
Miraculous.
I am miraculous.
I don't feel anything.
It's a head game,
I am miraculous,
I am miraculous.
I am strong.
I am strong.
But if I say I am miraculous.
I am miraculous.
And I feel that pulsing through me.
Maybe you even feel that when I say that.
Because there's a vibration rushing through that.
That's what energy is about.
It's about feeling that complete vibration like a wave moving through you.
Try it.
Try what I just did.
Say to yourself,
Miraculous,
Miraculous.
And then say it with some mmmt.
Feel it.
Put your hands into it.
Miraculous or this.
Imagine jumping out of bed and using that kind of energy.
People sometimes tell me a lot,
I get a lot of comments about my voice.
People say things like,
Did your voice change when you went down the spiritual path or has it always been this way?
And I say,
Hmm,
I think it's always been this way but I have never expressed it.
I've never been able to express it in this way.
I've dimmed it down.
But now there's more energy flowing.
I enjoy using language.
It's like an art.
You know?
Let me know what comes up for you in the comments.
The next thing we're going to do is we're going to connect to something a bit different from the mind and a bit different from your physical self.
So you've done your audit on the physical self,
On the mind and the thoughts.
Now I want to tap into your soul,
The deepest part of you.
And we're going to start with a meditation to hopefully take you there.
It's really funny because one of my clients,
I've seen the new Matrix film recently and I've been guiding her through some really deep sessions and taking her through some meditation practices and it's like I'll grab the mic and then she'll also get herself comfortable and then it'll be like we're going into the Matrix.
So think of it like that.
Whatever you're doing right now,
Just allow yourself to sit back.
If you've had a busy day,
If you've still got a busy head,
Then just give yourself just this moment,
Just now.
You can go back to your busy day after this,
But just for now give yourself this treat like a chocolate cake and indulge in some practice with me.
Someone told me it's like going to a jazz cafe when they come to my sessions.
So think of it like that.
Relax.
Just lie back.
You can be lying down,
You can be sat down,
You could even be moving if you're really busy.
My only invitation is for you to bring your highest level of awareness to the sound of my voice.
Start getting in tune with your breath.
It's such a strange thing sometimes to think about it,
Your breath.
We're all up in here in our heads and we're in the doing mode.
The whole time this breath is just moving by itself like magic.
So give it some attention for a few moments.
Feel the stomach rising and falling all on its own.
No need to control the breath.
Stop trying.
Let go of your efforts.
There's no need to perform right now.
Notice the air from the outside coming into your body.
And then leaving your body to go back to the outside.
Become aware of the space around you.
And the space within your body.
See if you can visualize the organs in your body.
And the space between them.
The space between your bones and your skin.
The space between you and the room.
The space behind you.
The space above you.
The space below you.
Remember in your awareness to act.
Start to imagine a younger version of yourself as a child.
See yourself with a smile and a glow.
Happy.
Energized.
Picture someone in your life that you love.
See them smiling.
See them happy.
See them energized.
Feel it moving through your body.
This energy.
Now start to visualize everyone on this call in each of their homes.
All of us together.
Getting energized.
Right now.
Connected.
Feel it in your heart.
Now picture a version of yourself.
Two years from now.
Smiling.
Full of life.
Totally energized.
Imagine what this future you is doing with your life.
That brings them so much joy.
See it.
Know it.
Feel it.
Feel it some more.
Let go.
Let yourself feel it.
Take a few deep breaths.
Consciously.
Let the energy move through you,
Through your breath.
Start coming back into your body.
Moving your feet,
Fingers.
Have a little stretch.
When you're ready,
Open your eyes.
Alright,
Tell me what came up for you in the chat.
Come out of the matrix.
Or we could say come back into the matrix,
Perhaps.
So share with me what your experience was like.
Because I think it's important to actually integrate what occurs during these experiences,
Right?
Because it can happen and then you have these insights and then you just forget about it.
Whereas what I think is most useful is to feel this stuff,
Talk about it with someone,
And then deepen your experience.
Let's share something in the chat.
Are you guys awake?
Do I need to press my bell again?
And wake you up a bit more?
Okay,
So someone said,
The happier version of my childhood looked like who I am today,
Followed by lots of calm and understanding.
Yeah,
It's interesting because when we tap into that part of us,
And you know there's so much behind this.
Because for me,
I had locked away about myself.
Most of us actually do that.
Most of us lock away the part of ourself that was told to be a certain way growing up,
Right?
Just the beliefs that were created by people around us.
That's just a part of the human experience,
I think now.
But also a part of the human experience is to rediscover the part that was locked away.
Because that part that's locked away is where all the gold is.
All the potential.
Children's creativity is immense.
So having that,
You know we all have that as adults still as well,
But we block ourselves off by thinking.
We have an idea and then it instantly is gone because the thinking has barraged it out.
So with this whole thing about energy,
Ultimately I was talking about physical energy,
Your exercise,
Your foods at the start.
I was talking about the mind.
That stuff does not matter when you access the most potent level of energy.
Which,
Let's just call it spiritual,
Even though I don't know if I use that word that much anymore.
Spiritual,
The life force,
The real energy.
Where everything comes from.
You can access that.
It doesn't matter how long you've slept.
It doesn't really matter what you've eaten that much.
All of the food is a support process.
It's supporting your spiritual energy.
It's allowing for that to come through better.
So it's necessary,
But it's not the ultimate source.
The ultimate source is this spiritual energy you have.
And that's what we feel when we're dancing.
Dancing is such a strange thing if you think about it.
If you were trying to think about dancing using your logical mind,
It doesn't make sense.
That's why people are reluctant to dance when they're all in their head,
Right?
Or they're nervous about it because they're all in their head.
It doesn't make sense to them.
They're too worried about how they look.
That was me by the way.
When I say people,
I'm usually talking about experiences from my life.
Dancing is a spiritual thing.
We can't really explain how,
Like,
What is this?
Scientists will try and do it and they'll be like,
Oh yeah,
The neurobiology,
The neurochemistry is occurring inside.
This hormone is happening.
This hormone is happening.
And then this happens in your system.
And then your blood levels and your blood sugar and this oxytocin and all of that.
I've been down that path.
I've learnt all that stuff.
It definitely makes sense from a science place.
But I don't need to know that.
I just need to know one thing.
Is my spirit moving me?
Like Dave says,
Is my spirit moving me throughout my life,
Throughout my day?
If I'm waking up feeling like I'm low in energy,
Where's my spirit?
All in your head.
That's why the spirit cannot come out.
That's why you can't access this infinite source of energy.
So,
The final part of this exercise for you on your piece of paper,
If you've been playing along,
Is to say,
What energizes you?
And what takes your energy away?
People,
Places,
Things,
Habits.
From a spiritual perspective.
From that spirit inside you.
What takes that away?
And what encourages that?
Get your piece of paper.
Write it down.
This is coaching for you.
This is going to help you move forward.
I've done this exercise with a bunch of people and what they do is they take this piece of paper,
Even if they don't do anything with it,
Just writing it down and becoming aware of this and then seeing that piece of paper a week later and be like,
Oh yeah,
This thing's happening again.
It's taking my energy away.
So,
I definitely recommend you to do this and play along.
Just to have the awareness of what's happening.
Most of my life I didn't know why I was feeling anxious.
I just thought there was something wrong with me.
I thought,
Oh it's because I'm an anxious person.
I have social anxiety.
I have general anxiety disorder.
Feels great,
Doesn't it?
To have that thing to fall back on.
To say,
Yeah,
No,
No,
No,
I can't do that.
I've got anxiety disorder.
No,
No,
No.
Sorry,
Sorry,
I can't.
I can't.
I've got this thing.
I've got this condition.
I'm not saying that this stuff doesn't feel real.
I'm not saying that this stuff doesn't make sense.
But I'm saying there's a different mode which has nothing to do with that.
That's mind and body.
The mind and body work together as a team.
When you feel this way,
When stuff like thoughts and fears come up,
They work together.
Mind,
Body,
And that includes emotions.
When I say mind,
I mean thoughts,
Emotions.
Body as well.
But the spirit is untouched.
It's always clean.
It's always accessible.
It's always there.
You don't need to do anything with it.
You just need to be able to access it more and more.
The more you access it,
The more you're getting away from focusing on the mind and body.
I don't know if this is helping or making sense.
Tell me in the comments.
What are your thoughts or questions?
Put some questions in the chat,
Guys,
And I'll answer any questions.
Let me know what's coming for you so far.
It's funny because we'll go outside.
We'll be having a hell of a day.
When I say hell,
I mean not a good hell of a day.
Then we'll go outside into nature or a park or some greenery.
We'll just change our state of mind instantly.
Our state of being,
Perhaps,
Is better to say.
Because we're really there.
When you're really there,
When you're really with your experience,
All the other stuff goes away.
The fog,
I like to call it.
The fog is cleared.
Gabby Lynn says,
I did something I normally wouldn't.
I gave me energy and confidence.
Exactly.
I was speaking to Gabby the other day.
Going out of the habitual pattern and trying something different,
That raises our spiritual energy.
Here's a typical example.
You know indecision?
It's usually happening because there's a conflict inside between the spirit and then the mind and body.
The mind,
Let's just say the mind.
The spirit and the mind.
You know when you have a decision and then you say,
This would be much better,
Logic paper would be better.
Everything about it,
Actually.
Everything.
An example is when,
Let's say you have two jobs to choose from.
This job pays much more.
You're probably going to have a better career from it as well.
But there's just something,
You just know inside you that something doesn't light you up about this.
This other job just doesn't pay as much.
But something entices you about it.
And then we go and do this thing of asking everyone else for advice.
What would you do if you were me?
I did this a lot actually.
I went around everywhere asking everyone.
I think I even went on internet forums and asked people things.
Because I was so unsure of myself.
I had so much self-doubt.
So even if somebody said the job on paper that looks good,
I would still be searching for someone to confirm.
And confirm that this thing that I secretly really want is a good idea.
I'd be looking for someone to give me that confirmation.
So you see like spirit and mind play into us all the time.
Sometimes my clients ask me,
They say,
Raj,
What would you do about this?
And I don't play that game with them.
I don't want to play that game of helping other people decide what to do with their life when they already know.
They already have this feeling.
I'm not going to mess with that.
So I throw the question back at them.
I say,
Why do you want to know what I would do?
And then the insight comes of,
Hmm,
Yeah,
Raj,
Good question.
I guess I'm just looking for someone to say it's okay.
And then I say,
What if it was okay?
What would you do if it was okay?
And they'll say,
I'll go and do it.
And I'll just look at them blank.
Not giving anything away.
Silence.
And a few moments later,
They'll say,
Yeah,
I've got an insight.
I'm going to go and do this thing.
So you see how this thing plays out.
We're looking for something to confirm that it's okay for us to go with that spiritual energy.
And you can say it takes courage because the mind is so strong.
So strong in its justification.
It's an analysis computer.
It's the supercomputer of all super.
.
.
It's analyzed every thought,
Every possible outcome.
It's analyzed everything.
It's so smart.
So of course it makes sense to listen to that.
It's the smartest thing we have.
Or feels like we have.
So there's so much resistance to saying no to the mind.
Because it's all we know most of the time.
And this quiet voice of spiritual energy is like,
It's not loud enough.
It's like this barking dog is here and this thing's going to go shut up,
Shut up,
Shut up,
Shut up.
But if you do follow that,
You're going to feel lit up when you actually go through with it.
And that's what I mean by spiritual energy.
That's what I mean by what lights you up and what takes it away from you.
So,
Tell me what's coming up for you guys.
Ask me any question about anything to do with energy.
Anything to do with energy.
Anything to do with the mind,
Spirit.
Put some questions in the chat and I'll take like maybe a few.
And if you ask a question,
It's most likely someone in the room is probably feeling the same.
So just go for it.
I want to quickly take a look at the comments as well.
Yeah,
Ruth says,
I was nervous but I felt great.
Yeah,
Nerves come up.
Mind and body.
All the time.
But then something else is there in the background.
The other energy.
Yeah,
Peter,
I'm looking,
It's like hoping someone will say what we really want.
It's natural,
Right?
I'm not judging it.
I'm just saying this is how we work.
This is what it is.
But imagine you didn't need that.
Imagine you didn't need that.
Imagine the energy spent on that.
The other thing I like to think about is energy as a currency.
You're spending it to think,
To overthink it's being spent.
It's being spent constantly.
So imagine you become energy efficient like those light bulbs,
Right?
Less,
But you get more from it.
Then you have more space to do whatever you want.
That's why I put so much value on it.
All right,
Guys,
Any more questions?
Or any questions that are unrelated?
This is your chance to ask me anything.
Anything you want.
It's funny because sometimes I have sessions where there's too many questions and I can't handle it.
Sometimes there's not any.
And that's OK,
Too.
But that's my invitation for you right now.
Put a question in the chat because we're probably going to wrap up soon.
OK,
There's one there.
Do you think overthinking takes away our energy?
Yes,
Definitely.
Definitely.
I like to say thinking is a tool that should be used like a calculator.
I have a calculator in my desk.
If I need my calculator,
I'll get it out.
But my calculator cannot help me decide what to do with my life.
It doesn't work like that.
My calculator is great for finances,
For working out certain things.
But I can't use just that calculator on its own.
On its own,
It's not a useful tool,
Apart from numbers and certain tasks.
That's why we have AI these days,
Because they can design robots to do this stuff now.
That shows that it's not our highest level of intelligence.
If we are able to design something that does this stuff for us,
It shows the value of it.
It's not that valuable.
But thinking,
When led from the heart,
When it's like I've got some heart and I've got some creativity,
Some soul,
Driving this car,
And then I say to thinking,
Who's my co-pilot,
Oh,
Thinking,
Yeah,
We're driving here and I'm excited.
I'm buzzing for this.
I'm feeling great.
Can you help me with something?
I need some calculations right now.
Help me with some calculations,
Please,
Mr.
Thinking,
Mrs.
Thinking.
Now it's great because it's a co-pilot.
I'm using it.
It's useful now.
If I was going to say,
Hey,
I'm going to drive this car,
It would be driving around in circles.
Because thinking is blind.
Thinking is blind.
Write that one down.
Thinking is blind.
It doesn't have the eyes.
Your heart,
Your soul has the eye.
It knows what to do.
It guides you.
It can see.
Thinking can't see.
It just does stuff.
So it burns a lot of energy.
But with it being a co-pilot,
Great,
It's useful.
It's not to be discarded.
We need it.
It's a great co-pilot.
And this is the thing with like when people talk about the ego,
Big topic,
Right?
I've gone down this massive path of ego.
I've had tears,
I've had some scary meditations.
I've had all sorts go on with ego.
Because I had some real issues with my mind.
But what I've come to realise now with my level of awareness that I'm at now is,
Ego can't be judged and pushed away and told that is a bad thing.
Because it's like pushing away yourself.
And that's a deep one.
I'm not going to go too much into that because people will have their thoughts about this.
But yeah,
Let's leave that one for now.
If you want,
I've got on my Instagram page,
I've got this whole 30 day series called Ego Talks.
I just spoke about ego for 30 days.
It's like a minute a day,
Something like that.
So if you want to learn more about ego,
Check out my Instagram page.
It's got a bunch of ego talks.
Maybe you'll get something from it.
I'm not saying I'm the expert at everything.
This is just how I see the world.
So check it out,
Instagram.
There's also like 100 book recommendations I've done on there,
Like reviews.
Check that out too.
Send me a message,
I'd love to hear from you.
I'd love to hear what you got from today.
If you got anything.
I'd love to hear what's going on with your life.
What do you do?
That would be fun.
So feel free,
Get in touch.
Draw me a message.
Okay,
Next question.
NERPA says,
When we bring out the courage and decide to take action and move in the direction where our energy guides us,
A lot of us changes and we're not totally okay with these changes because some of it makes us less vulnerable.
So here's my invitation.
Read out what you said up to the point of because.
I've always like started,
I've started picking up on how people speak.
And whenever there's a because or there's a therefore,
That means we've analyzed it and we've made a decision of what this means.
Before the because,
Everything was okay.
It's just this is what's happening.
So that's the first thing I want to say,
But also I really feel what you're saying.
100% When I was going through this phase of opening up,
I had a ton of awareness open up very quickly because I was doing some really like deep yogic methods,
Let's call it,
That opened up my consciousness massively.
So I kind of freaked out.
I was like,
I thought I was this guy and now I'm seeing this new person open.
What the hell is going on?
And people call this sometimes existential crisis or there's all sorts of names for this.
I just say freak out.
Let's just say freak out.
Because there's a part of us still attached to who we thought we were.
And then the other part is trying is being pulled to like who we're building towards,
Who we're becoming,
Let's say,
We're accessing that truth within us.
So it's like being pulled on both ends.
So what I'd say is,
And I get messages about this a lot and even like within my clients,
Something deep happens within them and they start questioning like what's going on?
I'm not seeing life.
I'm seeing life differently now.
And I'd say stay with that process.
Do not try and like analyze it because everything that's happening is great.
I call it the like transformation that's occurring.
Peeling layers off.
And sometimes it hurts.
Imagine I was trying to peel off my skin.
If I knew that it was gold underneath the skin and I started peeling it off,
It'd probably hurt.
So I'd say just notice what's occurring.
If you have the courage to move into who you're becoming,
That's great.
I'm really happy to hear that actually.
And I'm really happy that you're taking action in doing that.
Yeah,
It can feel scary.
That's what I'll say.
And I think it's a part of the process.
So I hope that helped.
Umm.
Yeah,
Ruth says you and other teachers talk about the space between everything.
Yeah,
Definitely.
Others talk about the fact that everything is interconnected.
I can't assimilate both of these together.
When you say interconnected and you can't assimilate,
Do you mean like.
.
.
Which part do you mean when you say both of these together?
What's the both?
Drop me something in the comments just so I'm clear and I don't start rambling about something.
Joined up.
What joined up though?
What is it that's joined up?
Ah,
Okay.
I think I know what you're saying.
Okay,
Yeah.
Okay,
I get you.
I get you.
So me and then the everything,
Right?
Yeah,
I get you.
I've gone on this like massive,
Massive quest to try and understand this myself actually.
And I think I've come to this place where I realize.
.
.
I realize that there is just everything.
There is just everything.
But we also experience this because we live in flesh.
We have to look in the mirror and we see there is a flesh here.
There is a flesh here.
I have this flesh.
You have this flesh.
It looks different,
Right?
So it's different.
It is different.
On the face of it.
You think about it.
There is actually a lot of similarities between my body and another person's body.
Even if it's a woman.
Generally,
Right?
But there is still a difference.
The way I see it is this flesh comes from the earth.
So does that person's.
It comes from the earth.
It's made of earth material.
There is water in here.
There is fire in here.
All of the elements are within here.
The same with that person.
You know when you hold someone's hand?
There is instantly this very real knowing that there is this.
.
.
There is just elements connecting.
And ultimately we all go into the earth.
We came from the earth.
But my thinking is different from your thinking.
That's for sure.
So now there is separation.
When we are in the mode of thinking,
Intellect,
Collection of knowledge.
Okay,
Now we are different for sure.
You grew up differently.
Definitely a clear difference,
Right?
Clear separation.
That's where people get into trouble though.
When it's operating from that mode of the intellect,
The mind.
Because in the mind there is differences.
So of course I am operating from this mode.
I am separate.
You are separate.
You owe me.
I owe you.
You can't do that to me.
Who are you?
Who do you think you are?
Don't disrespect me.
But then when you go into the mode of spirit,
There is no difference.
Nothing.
Because.
.
.
Yeah,
Try and like ponder upon that one for a moment.
This difference between your spirit and someone else's.
That even comes from the same place.
Whatever you believe in.
Whatever you believe in.
It comes from the same thing.
Consciousness.
The life force that runs through us.
The chi,
The prana.
That came from somewhere.
It can't be personal.
So ponder upon that for a moment.
See what comes up for you.
All of you guys.
I invite you to ponder upon it.
Tell me what comes up when you just think about it.
It's a deep question.
A very deep question.
So just to answer your question,
I would say there is a separation between us and others.
But if you operate out of that zone too much,
You are going to get stuck in your head.
You are going to face a lot of misery.
But if you operate from the zone of there is a separate me as well as there is a connected me.
Which is more powerful and true and that I move through that being.
Then imagine you are with someone and you are with them.
You are a we now.
Yeah there is me but now we are a we.
So that's all I am going to say for that.
That's like me getting really really deep right now.
Let me know if that was useful to anyone.
Alright,
I think we are nearly done.
I have a very strict thing with time.
I don't like to go past 90 minutes with anything.
If I have 90 minutes booked,
That's it.
No more.
So we are getting to that time.
What I would invite you to do is,
If you have got any insight from today.
Even just like a tiny little thing of like a pondering or a hmm hmm hmm hmm I wonder.
Then go play with that.
Go and do something with it.
Just write something down after this session.
After I close this session get a piece of paper.
Just spill it on a piece of paper.
Spill your insight.
And then I invite you to tell me what was it.
Get in touch.
Message me.
I want to hear.
I want to hear what these sessions are useful for.
I want to hear from you guys.
And if there are things you are challenged by.
I get a lot of messages like this actually.
Where people just message me and tell me what they are challenged by.
Go for it.
Do it.
That's my invitation to knock on my door.
And perhaps there is something I can send you.
I have got a bunch of resources.
I talk about it all the time.
I say the same thing.
Just because I have to make sure that I am reminding people that there is all of this stuff that I can send you guys.
There is like a resource library almost.
If you are challenged by something just tell me and I think that's going to help.
Like I am very confident that it will help.
Or we will have a conversation and then I will help you that way.
So let me know.
And the other thing is I will be planning something in March.
A group coaching.
And it's not going to be an insight timer.
It's not going to be free either.
It's going to be something I am offering as a program.
So if you are interested it will be an intensive.
Which just means we are going to spend a few days together.
And we will really get into some deep stuff.
The theme of it is to Slow down to speed up.
Slowing down.
Being here.
Knowing who you are.
Connecting to that soul.
And then for that place creating your future.
Creating your life.
Slow down to speed up.
Like you are driving around the corner.
You have got to slow down.
And then room.
Go fast after that.
So that will be in March.
If you want some information about that send me a message.
I think there will be a limited number of places.
And you know people always say that.
They always say that like some kind of marketing technique.
But yeah I am just being real with you.
There will be a limited number of places.
So yeah just drop me a message if you want to come.
If you want to hear more about it what we will be doing.
We will be playing some games.
We will be doing some meditation.
We will be just with each other.
Personal development made fun I like to call it.
So that's that.
And some people actually message me and ask me about mentoring and coaching.
If they want to directly work with me.
Again same thing.
Like I don't have anything to say.
I am going to sell you this and trick you into something.
Instead let's just have a human conversation if that's what you want.
Drop me a message and we will just talk about that.
If you are going through some stuff and you want to create some exciting changes in your life.
Yeah just send me a message and we will talk about it.
I will help you for free.
And if you want to go into a professional coaching thing with me.
We will talk about that as well.
Alright.
That's that guys.
We are at the top of the hour.
Of the 90 minutes sorry.
If you have been here from the beginning then awesome.
Before we go.
What was your take away from today?
Put something in the chat.
What did you get from today's session?
What are you leaving with?
And when I say take away I mean the insight.
And then what could be the tiny little action that might happen based on the insight that you got?
So much connection to see says Connie.
Yes.
Yes.
It's true like that even just the language that you use there.
Like I said before I'm very like.
The word is but let's just say I enjoy language a lot.
Language I think means energy to me in a way.
So you said so much connection to see.
Love that.
To see it.
You're seeing things in a different way.
Seeing the connection exactly.
There is a lot of connection.
Even to the people that annoy you.
They're just being human right?
They're falling victim to thinking.
There's nothing wrong with the human.
That's all.
They're just in their head.
Make small moves to see the separation from mind and myself says Richard.
Yes.
Tiny moves.
You can see it.
If you see your mind as a co-pilot like literally it's here.
It's just with me.
Then you realize you're not your mind.
It's just a thing that's here.
It's around you.
The intellect.
The smart one.
The thing that remembers all of these facts.
Facts and bilats.
The collection of information.
There's something deeper than that.
Micro awareness.
The micro moments when you catch it out.
Ultimately,
Just to end with this.
If you can become harmonious within all of the parts of yourself.
Body,
Mind,
Energy.
Ego like we said before or I said.
If all of that becomes like one big party where you're all having fun together.
That's it.
That's life.
That's you becoming blissful now.
You become blissful because everything is in line with each other.
So that's an end.
Sometimes I think I should have like an assistant here who takes,
Who writes down quotes of what I say.
Because then I can just post them somewhere.
Anyway,
Time's up.
Time is up.
I'll see you guys soon and I've got a session next week also.
Which is,
Oh thanks Richard.
That'd be fun.
Yeah,
Awesome.
Someone did it once in one of these sessions.
They wrote down all these like random quotes that I said and they posted them to me.
And I was like,
Oh my god,
This is awesome.
Thank you.
Anyway,
I've got a session next week.
Which is,
I'm doing it every Monday now.
I'm just going to do a session every Monday.
Keep it as a weekly slot.
Just about random stuff.
Next week's about anxiety to action.
So anyone who thinks they're a procrastinator,
You are not,
You're just not taking action.
You're just in your head.
That's all.
Perfectionist.
That's not real either.
I'm sorry.
You're just in your head.
So it's going to be anxiety to action.
If you want to hear more about what I'm talking about then come along.
And yeah,
It'll be fun.
And yeah,
If you want to hear more about the intensive,
The group program that I'm going to be having in March,
Send me a message.
I want to,
I just want to hear like who's interested.
Like I said,
I'm not going to say,
Hey,
Pay this right now.
I'm not going to do any like weird sales techniques on you.
I just want to hear who's interested for now.
So,
I will see you later.
I do have a circle.
It's called Powerful Beings.
But no one messages in there anymore because since they've changed the Insight Timer app.
I don't know.
Yeah,
I'll check it out anyway.
Go into Powerful Beings if you want to join the circle.
You guys are going to be active in there,
Then I'll be active in there.
But if no one's going to be active,
Then I'm not going to be looking at it,
Right?
So if you want to join Powerful Beings,
If someone wants to fire this group up and make it exciting.
And I'll be in.
I'm in for that.
So check it out.
Powerful Beings.
We'll have some fun in there if you want to join.
If you're going to be active and play with me,
Then great.
Let's do it.
Alright guys.
Powerful Beings.
Yes.
Alright guys.
Time is up.
I'm a minute over.
So I'll see you later.
Have a good evening,
Day,
Tomorrow,
Now.
And we'll speak soon.
See you later.
