And are able to get as comfortable as possible.

Hi,

My name is Robert Aceves,

And I welcome you to this short meditation to take inventory of your emotions.

In this meditation,

We're going to take an inventory of your emotions and feelings during the day so you can become more aware of them.

With practice,

You'll discover that your body harbors different types of emotions throughout the day,

And by becoming more aware,

You'll be able to regulate them and have more control over your emotions.

I'm going to ask you to go to a place where no one will interrupt you for a few minutes.

You can sit or lie down in a comfortable position.

Let's begin.

Close your eyes.

Take a deep breath in,

And release the air.

That's it.

Take another deep breath in,

And release the air.

That's it.

Now,

Continue breathing,

Inhaling and exhaling,

While you observe how your head is doing.

How's your neck?

Observe how your shoulders are.

How are your arms?

How's your chest?

How's your belly?

How are your legs doing right now?

And finally,

How are your feet?

Feel your whole body and notice how your body is doing.

And observe how your mind is doing right now.

That's it.

Now,

This is the time to take an emotional inventory.

It's important to recognize your feelings,

And that is why I will ask you to name each emotion you're currently feeling.

You could say to yourself,

For example,

I feel happy.

I feel anxious.

I feel grateful.

I feel sad.

I feel worried.

I feel energized.

I feel heavy.

I feel annoyed.

Nervous,

Frustrated,

Relaxed.

Whatever you're feeling,

Acknowledge the feeling and accept it.

Allow yourself to accept each emotion without judging.

Remember that it's okay to feel what you feel.

Every emotion is valid and part of your human experience.

So take your time to feel whatever you're feeling.

That's it.

Now,

Notice what you were doing a few minutes before or when you were feeling that emotion.

Who were you with?

When you were feeling that emotion?

How much energy was there at that moment?

Where were you when you felt that emotion?

Now,

Notice what caused you to feel that way.

That's it.

You can now open your eyes.

Observe the present.

And continue with your day.

And you'll notice how you feel better as you become more aware of your emotions throughout the day.

I suggest that you practice this meditation at least three times a day.

Thank you for listening and I wish you the best.

Talk to you soon.
