In this gentle, grounding practice, you’ll be guided to tune into the subtle sensations of your breath, without needing to change or control it. Through mindful awareness of the inhale, exhale, and the spaces between, this meditation helps anchor you in the present moment, ease mental chatter, and reconnect with the body’s natural rhythm. Ideal for beginners or anyone needing a nervous system reset through simplicity and presence.

Transcript

This is the most deceptively profound of all meditation methods.

The breath is always real,

Always now,

And always available to us.

Our task is to shift from thinking to awareness.

Cultivating attention to the breath refines our awareness.

Allow your eyes to close.

Allow your inner vision to feel the natural magnetic pull up to the third eye.

Keep a gentle focus there,

Above and between the eyebrows.

Begin to tune in to the cool touch of air at the nostrils on the inhale.

Notice the soft warmth at the nostrils on the exhale.

The mind may wander away,

That's okay.

With kindness to the self,

Bring your awareness back to the coolness of the inhale.

Back to the warmth of the exhale.

Cooling,

Centering,

And refreshing on the inhale.

Softening and relaxing on the exhale.

Breathe here,

Now.

Cooling,

Centering,

And refreshing on the inhale.

Softening and relaxing on the exhale.

Breathe here,

Now.

And as you're ready,

Inviting in small movements,

Wiggle fingers,

Toes.

Softening your gaze and coming back to the room where you reside.

And seeing if you can take this awareness of breath with you through the rest of your day.
