Welcome to this meditation for releasing imposter syndrome.

Today we'll work on quieting the inner critic,

Reconnecting with your truth,

And anchoring into the knowing that you are worthy,

Capable,

And enough exactly as you are.

Find a comfortable seat or lie down.

Allow your hands to rest gently on your lap or by your sides.

If it feels good,

Close your eyes and begin to tune inward.

Take a deep breath in through your nose and exhale slowly through your mouth.

Again,

Inhale deeply and exhale,

Releasing any tension in your face,

Shoulders,

And jaw.

One more time,

Inhale fully and exhale completely.

Let your breath return to a natural rhythm,

Slow and steady.

Gently scan your body from head to toe,

Noticing any areas of tightness or discomfort,

And with each exhale,

Imagine you're releasing that tension,

Softening your forehead,

Relaxing your shoulders,

Loosening your belly,

And letting your legs and feet be heavy.

Now,

Bring to mind a moment when imposter syndrome has shown up for you.

Perhaps it is this moment.

Perhaps a situation where you've doubted your abilities,

Feared being found out,

Or felt like you just didn't belong.

It could be current or something that has happened in the past.

Notice how that feels in your body,

Whether it's a current state or a memory.

Feel the sensation,

Perhaps a tightness in your chest,

A knot in your stomach,

A heaviness in your shoulders.

There's no need to judge,

Just observe.

Imagine this doubt or fear or feeling as a small cloud in front of you.

See it floating just outside of you,

Sending it from the inside of your body to outside of the body,

Separating it from your signature energetic essence.

This small cloud in front of you is a story you've been told,

Or that you're telling yourself over time.

Watch this cloud begin to fade and dissolve,

Melting away into the air around you.

It's just a story.

With each exhale,

Release another layer of that story.

Allowing that cloud to dissipate,

Dissolve,

And fade away completely in front of your eyes.

Now bring your attention to the space in your chest,

Your heart center.

Visualize a warm,

Golden light glowing here,

The light of your highest self,

Your truest self,

This self who knows your worth,

Your talents,

Your uniqueness.

With each inhale,

See this light expand in your chest,

Through your chest,

Your shoulders,

Your whole body,

Until you are surrounded by it.

Allow yourself to fully rest in this knowing,

I am enough.

I am capable.

I am exactly where I need to be.

Feel into whatever sensation may be arising,

Lightness,

Electricity,

Warmth,

And silently repeat to yourself after me,

Letting each affirmation land in your body,

I release the need to prove my worth.

My value is inherent.

I trust my skills,

My wisdom,

And my path.

My situation does not define me.

I belong here.

If repeating to yourself any of these affirmations feels hard to believe,

That's okay.

Just let it be an invitation,

A possibility that you're opening to.

One more time,

Silently repeating after me,

Again,

Letting these affirmations land in your body,

Knowing it's an invitation.

I release the need to prove my worth.

My value is inherent.

I trust my skills,

My wisdom,

And my path.

My situation does not define me.

Take a full breath in,

And picture yourself now,

Six months from now.

Six months from now,

Fully confident,

Fully in your power.

See this version of you walking into a space where you once felt like an imposter.

This is already within you,

Exactly as you are.
