Hello and welcome back to the five essential keys to ending emotional eating.

I'm Ruthie Cohen-Joyner with yourtappingjourney.

Com and today we are going into part five,

Growing self-love and self-acceptance.

So far we've discussed learning to soothe and comfort yourself,

Which is what I call mothering yourself,

Expressing who you truly are,

Asserting yourself and truth-telling,

And now we're delving into the biggest part of healing and transforming your life,

Learning to love and accept yourself exactly as you are.

My personal little saying is self-love is your personal miracle and I totally believe that.

And yet it doesn't happen overnight.

It's actually a lifelong journey filled with ups and downs,

One step forward,

Two steps back.

It requires a lot of patience,

A lot of compassion,

A lot of gentleness for yourself.

No judging yourself for judging yourself.

It's an opportunity to learn and grow.

Accepting and loving yourself includes loving and accepting the past you,

The you from childhood,

Your teen years,

Even the you from 10 minutes ago.

For this part of our healing,

We're going to do a little meditation.

So I want to invite you to take a moment to tune in to your heart.

And if you're in a place where you can close your eyes,

Slowing down,

Getting comfortable.

And let's drop into this meditation,

Inviting in some divine love and support.

So just bringing your intention and attention into your heart space,

Start slowing your breathing and just notice your breathing for a few breaths.

And now I want you to imagine yourself as a baby.

Imagine holding your baby self with lots of love and tenderness.

Tell her all the things she longs to hear.

You're precious.

You're beautiful.

You're deserving and worthy.

Deserving that love and attention and respect exactly as you are.

You are good enough.

Just really fill yourself up with this love.

Now,

Imagine her growing up filled with this love,

This worthiness,

This respect for herself.

And imagine that you are filled with these beliefs,

This knowing this way of being,

Knowing you are worthy,

Deserving of love,

Attention and respect.

See yourself giving this to yourself and living this way of being,

Becoming this person today,

This person that knows who she is,

Worthy and filled with respect and deservedness.

And now I want to invite you to slowly and gently open your eyes,

Coming back to here and now feeling renewed,

Revitalized,

Refreshed and ready to go through the rest of your day filled with this new loving energy.
