Welcome,

And thank you for joining me on this meditation today.

During this journey,

We will be speaking to the body as a spirit,

One that is supporting us during our time here on earth.

It's important to know that with shamanic work,

We're opening a doorway to the unseen by inviting this dialogue.

We are in effect speaking to the body in a different dimensional space.

And for this reason,

I encourage you to pay attention to your life experiences around this session,

And any intuitive nudges,

Information or dreams that you receive about the body in the two weeks after you go through this journey.

Working with the unseen or with the spirit side of the body is not a linear experience.

And you will notice the results of these meditations will always reflect the truth of that statement.

Today we are calling upon the spirit of the body.

We are asking the body to reveal what it needs in order to feel loved,

In order to be cared for.

In this space,

We acknowledge that many of us have a great disconnect with our body,

Especially when we are on the spiritual path.

It's hard to be here on earth.

And because of that struggle,

We don't have an easy time connecting to the body in a healthy way.

And as such,

We're asking the spirit of the body directly,

What it needs from us to feel loved and nourished,

What it wants to share with us that we may not be able to hear.

So go ahead and take a moment to settle into a comfortable position and close your eyes.

You may sit or lay down for this meditation,

Whichever position is more comfortable for dialoguing with a force outside of yourself.

Begin to slow your breath,

Using each inhale as an opportunity to drop more deeply into your body.

And each exhale,

Releasing the outside world.

As you breathe in,

I invite you to bring your attention to the root of your body.

This is the area of your pelvis,

The base of your spine.

Allow your energy to drop fully into this space for grounding,

As well as into the earth beneath you.

Imagine breathing in deeply and slowly,

Drawing all the breath into the bowl of your pelvis and visualizing the release of your breath moving down your body and out your feet.

This helps us become more grounded in the space and in ourselves.

In all shamanic work,

Being grounded is an important piece to the puzzle.

As you breathe and sit in this space with me,

I will ask you to feel the full weight of your body on the surface that you find yourself on.

To feel the heaviness of it.

Allow gravity to completely take over here.

And let your energy merge with the earth.

So feel your energy drop down.

Feel yourself being held here in this position.

And allow yourself to be held here.

So silently,

We're going to call in the spirit of the body,

Inviting them to come forward as a guide,

As a teacher,

And as an ally.

Now,

When any spirit comes forward,

It may present directly in front of us.

It may mean that we zoom out and see this interaction from a third party perspective.

It may be a knowing.

It may appear as a metaphor.

Any of these are fine.

In this space,

Your body's spirit is waiting for you.

Let it appear as it wishes to appear for you now.

Now we ask the spirit of the body.

My dear body,

What do you need from me in this moment?

What do you need me to hear?

What do you need to feel loved or nourished or cared for?

And then listen.

You may feel sensations,

A desire to rest or be touched or move.

You may hear words or see images.

You may simply know.

Whatever arises is truth,

And allow it to come forward without judgment.

Now I will ask you to place your hands somewhere on your body,

Wherever you feel guided to do so.

Your heart,

Your belly,

Your shoulders,

Anywhere.

And send your love through your hands.

With every breath that you take,

Silently saying to your body,

I love you.

I'm listening.

And I'm here.

Feel this exchange of love,

Like a river flowing both ways.

Your devotion meeting your body's devotion,

Your body's wisdom.

And really allow yourself to feel the care and love that your body has for you.

In the way that it shows up.

The way that it communicates.

The way that it always reflects exactly what it is that you need to know.

Even if you aren't listening in that moment.

You and your body are on this journey together.

And it's important to take care of one another while you're here.

Now offer gratitude for your body,

To the spirit of your body,

To your body,

And any unseen allies who witnessed this journey for you today.

And when you're ready,

Take a deep breath and exhale fully.

Returning gently to the present moment.

Wiggling your fingers and toes and opening your eyes.

Carrying a renewed bond of love,

Of trust,

And understanding.

With your human form,

With your body.

A new line of communication that is open and available for both of you.

Whenever it's needed.

Thank you.
