Here I speak about the inevitable phenomenon of change, and I explain why we sometimes may be so afraid of it. I share a personal example related to this topic, and I remind us of how essential it is that we accept and embrace the natural course of life.

Today I want to share with you something about change.

We human beings are full of excuses to keep our lives just as they are.

And many times we see change as very challenging.

And this happens because we are stuck and focused on the perfect conformist zone that we created in our minds.

We forget that changing is part of nature,

Whether we like it or not.

And when we see ourselves through the eyes of darkness,

We get lost in the middle of a blind mental confusion in which we compare ourselves to others,

Always complaining,

And we never feel satisfied or grateful for anything.

We become completely dependent on external conditions and we end up believing and attracting more of that reality into our lives.

We as souls are free of every condition or limitation.

Embracing change is necessary to evolve.

If I progressively let go of all the unconscious habits I have,

Then I allow myself to live and experience the true feeling of freedom that happens when I choose consciously and intentionally to serve me as soul,

When I no longer resist and I finally allow myself to change,

When I no longer try to control anything,

When I simply accept life as it is.

And this doesn't mean that I let go of my deep intuitive creative impulses of sharing and serving the world through my unique gifts.

And also it doesn't mean that I stop caring about my physical or mental or emotional or spiritual body or about others.

It means that I no longer judge life through the eyes of frustration,

Constantly preventing myself from expressing my true nature.

We are simple.

There are no such words as difficult or complicated in our inner vocabulary.

We are unconditional love.

Have you ever listened to a deep,

Persistent and serene voice inside of you that never stops until you align yourself with it?

It's a voice that always comes from a fearless dimension of love.

And that voice is your intuition.

It comes from our supreme consciousness.

Sometimes it can be scary because it might say something that we don't really want to do.

It can require some sort of courage,

But deep inside we know that that is the way.

And resisting it only leads to worse conditions and more suffering.

I can tell you that along my experience I noticed that every time I try to escape from my intuition by forcing myself to believe that I can feel fine by doing something else,

I really feel the unpleasant consequences of it.

And usually it feels like I am accumulating bigger and bigger obstacles.

Long time ago I had a job for three years in which most of the time I felt miserable and I knew I had to live.

But all the thoughts in my mind kept me from following my heart.

For example,

Having a job is what society expects from me.

I need the money.

What if I can't find another job?

Or being unemployed means I failed.

And the list of thoughts went on and on.

And believing those thoughts really put me in a situation that I didn't really want to be.

Only when I let go of all that illusion in my mind I could finally accept that changing was a must and I felt such a relief.

I opened the door to new opportunities and I allowed myself to write a better chapter.

So eight months later,

After having some short period part-time jobs,

I found the perfect work for me at the time that lasted for five years.

And now,

Looking back,

All I see is my intuition pushing me to a higher level of self-trust.

And I realize more and more that no matter how much it sounds difficult for me to follow my wise inner voice,

I always suffer more every time I ignore it.

So if I experience the profound need of change,

I face it and I embrace it just as it is.

I choose not to give up on myself and I do the best I can and know at the moment nothing else is required.

All I have to do is listening carefully to my heart as the metaphorical channel that leads me to the Creator or God or universe or whatever word we want to use.

If I see life through the true eyes of love and trust the universe,

There will always be hope on the other side of the mountain.

And when I feel that my life matches my true essence,

Then I just keep the consistency that brought me to that point because I feel and see great and peaceful results of self-expansion.
