Sharing with you a breathing practice that can help you manage anxiety,
Help you detox from any fear,
Any worry,
Any uncertainty that you may be having,
But also more importantly stimulate your digestive system,
Stimulate your filter organs,
Amp up your metabolism so that you get that inner body still turning and moving even if your lifestyle may have changed.
So let's begin by sitting up nice and tall in a chair on the floor or any other seated surface and as you make your back nice and tall open your heart because this opens your breathing muscle,
The diaphragm.
Lengthen your back and just take a deep breath with me to arrive.
Breathe in and let it out through your mouth.
Breathe in and let it out through your mouth.
Lengthen your back and relax your shoulders.
Rest your arms on your thighs.
Feel your seat draw into the earth but lift your spine as tall as you can.
Feel the body sink and release and feel the natural organic rise and fall of your breath.
Now let's invite the belly bonfire breath to stimulate your digestive system as well as to burn out any negativity,
Any fear,
Any worry that you may be experiencing and repetitively holding on to right now.
Take a deep breath down into the lower belly and let the breath drop all the way into the pelvis and as you exhale you want to slowly lift up your pelvic floor,
Squeeze it in and up and then pull your belly inward and upward and as you inhale drop the breath down,
Soften and pull the breath into the belly and pelvis all the way down to the earth and as you exhale hug up the pelvic floor muscles aka bathroom muscles.
Pull them and squeeze them in and up and then squeeze your lower belly inward and upward as if to press all the air up and out.
As you inhale,
Soften the breath down,
Create space at the base of your pelvis,
Relax your pelvic floor.
As you exhale,
Hug your pelvic floor,
Pull your lower belly,
Draw it inward and upward and continue to press the old air out and away.
Inhale through the nose again,
Drop the breath down towards the lower belly,
Towards the pelvis and let it drop into the center of the earth and as you exhale,
Hug up through the pelvic floor,
Squeeze the lower belly inward and upward and press any old toxic air out and away and as you inhale,
Breathe down as it's a soften and make new space like an inner light expanding in all directions and as you exhale,
As if to pulse up a golden flame to burn out anything negative,
Give a nice hug and lift and press that negativity up out and away and as you inhale again,
You create new space dropping the breath down to create light within and as you exhale,
You want to pulse up the old air,
Hug that flame,
Let that flame burn bright,
Reach and rise to press out any fear,
Any worry,
Any negativity,
Let it move out and as you inhale again,
Soften the breath,
Pulse it down,
Feel that space,
Feel that light expand in all directions and on that accessor to gather that flame,
Hug and lift the old air out and press it up and out so all that worry,
All that anxiety can reach out and away and on that inhale,
You create a new golden light,
Let it expand in all directions and soften and on your exhale,
As if to gather up the flame,
The flame of a candle,
Let it burn bright,
Press out and reach to the top of that flame so that it burns away anything feeling heavy for you.
Do that two more times,
Inhale,
Drop the breath down,
Create the space within,
Feel your light,
Exhale,
Collect the old air,
Hug and squeeze and press and choose to let that worry out as you exhale it out.
Inhale for a new space.
Know that you can repeat this breath anytime you're feeling anxious,
Anytime you're feeling a repetitive thought pattern but you can also greatly benefit when you do it to help detox your system so if you're not moving as much as you usually do,
This is a great breathing style to stimulate your filter organs,
Amp up your metabolism and really get a little bit of churning and movement in the digestive system.
Thank you very much for joining me,
Feel free to repeat the belly bonfire breath as often as you can and if you didn't get it this time,
It's very normal that it takes some time to learn how to breathe down versus breathing up so all it takes is practice.
Have a lovely day.
