From Shane Pinata,
I'm Colleen Thomas.
This is Everyday Magic for Ukraine.
Today we honor the endurance of Ukraine.
Welcome to the circle.
The only item you need today is something that speaks to you of endurance.
This might be a rock.
This might be a piece of jewelry.
Maybe something that a member of your family wore or gave you.
Somebody who was strong.
Somebody who was true.
Somebody you could rely on.
So to get started today,
Let's explore endurance in our own lives.
And let's do that by first connecting with the body.
Notice what you are sitting,
Standing,
Or lying on and feel the weight of your body.
Notice the weight of your body pressing down.
Notice what it feels like to be in your body today.
If being in your body right now today is stressful or hard,
Be really gentle with yourself.
As a reminder,
You don't have to take any suggestion verbatim.
You can adapt.
You can adjust.
So if we're sitting still and feeling our bodies and that doesn't feel good to you,
You want to move around.
You want to do a little shaking or a little movement,
Walking,
Breathing.
Do what feels right for you.
Also noticing feeling into your body to whatever degree feels okay for you today.
Noticing the weight of your body.
And notice also the space that you are taking up in the room or the space you're in.
This is space that nobody else is in.
This is your space where your body is situated right now.
Your body that has the right to be here.
Your body that is welcome in the circle.
And become aware of the earth beneath you.
See what it might feel like to drop a grounding cord down into the earth.
Find your center.
Find your connection.
Now also,
I invite you to notice the space right around your body.
Maybe two or three feet from the edge of your skin.
This is your energy body.
This is your aura.
This is your bubble space.
This is space that is also yours.
This is space that you can fill with yourself,
With your energy,
With your intention and your love.
And this is a space that might sometimes have other energy in it.
Other energy from other people or old memories or strong energies from a place or a time.
And over time,
You can become aware of these energies that might not be yours and you can gently move them out so that you can fill up this entire bubble space with yourself.
So let's practice that now.
Just notice,
Feel into your bubble space,
Your energy body.
And just intuitively notice if anything is in there that is not yours.
You may see it in your mind's eye.
You may feel it.
You may just sense it or you may feel nothing.
But see if you can move out anything that you do find that's not yours.
You can let it go down your grounding cord down into the earth.
You can let it just effortlessly leave your space.
If you like,
You can brush your hands or maybe a feather if you have one through your energy body to move that energy out.
Letting it go.
Letting it drop away.
Letting it leave your space.
Then bringing in your energy.
Maybe focusing on your heart,
Your beautiful,
Perfect,
Wonderful heart,
Allowing that heart energy from you to just effortlessly fill your energy body,
To fill that space around you with your vibration,
Your love,
Your essence.
Claim that entire space for yourself.
This is a very simple resilience practice you can do on a daily basis to come into your body and take up the space your body is physically occupying by landing in your body and also by cleansing and clearing out the energy body right around you.
Really owning all of the space as yours because then when you go out into the world,
Anything that might push in or be difficult or challenging won't get in because you'll already be there.
You'll already be filling and claiming and owning the space for yourself.
I invite you to consider this practice.
I'm grateful to you for trying it with me today and see if it's something you might like to try again.
Maybe tomorrow.
And now I invite you to grab your item that speaks to you of endurance and hold it or think of it and join us here in circle as we presence what is happening in Ukraine.
This is a country that has been at war for almost two years.
This is a country that has actually been at war for 10 years and allow any images to come to your mind that you've seen moments of endurance that you've witnessed either personally if you're in Ukraine or from across the world.
Think of scenes that have been really hard to see that have been really hard to live through that have been really hard to imagine have happened and yet at the same time that there is pain and there is heartbreak and there is rage and there is horror.
There is also a desire to go forward.
There is a desire to keep the country together to keep the family together to look for the safety of others to fundraise to community build to take in people who maybe don't have a place to live to take in animals to continue to put one foot in front of the other.
Yes,
Because it is imperative and necessary but also because it is the spirit to keep going to endure and this comes with creativity and this comes with innovation and this comes with room to move and breathe and create a new future.
See if you can kind of catch that spirit as you're sitting here in circle with us and see if any of that energy would like to go into your object.
Notice if this object would like to hold some of this energy for you.
Trust the process and let the energy move.
You are blessing this object with this intention with this focus.
When you feel like this process is either almost done or totally done,
I invite you to take a breath and I invite you to keep this as a sacred object now.
Keep this as an object that you can pull out when you would like to draw on this strength for yourself when you need to be resilient and use it to inspire you.
On days maybe when you're low energy or you're very busy,
Use it to remind yourself to show up.
How are you showing up for Ukraine today?
So what that might look like is waking up and saying,
How's my endurance level today?
What do I need today?
Am I fully in my body?
How is my bubble space today?
And maybe on days when you feel a little bit low,
You can grab this object,
Maybe keep it nearby.
If it's wearable,
You can wear it and wear it or have it or honor it in some way to honor and strengthen your own endurance and to honor the continual endurance of Ukraine.
May we all remember how incredibly powerful we are inside.
May it be so.
Thank you so much for being with us today.
Your presence,
Your energy and your heart make all the difference in healing our world.
Remember to breathe today,
Breathe and expand.
And I hope you join us again next time.
Please consider inviting a friend.
