Beginning by finding a comfortable position,

Lying down on your back with your arms on either side of your body,

Palms facing up,

Or you can place your hands on your belly,

Palms facing down,

Relaxing the legs and allowing the feet to turn outwards.

Feeling your whole body touching the earth,

The back of your legs,

The hips,

The shoulders and the back of the head.

Feeling your whole body heavy,

Sinking into the earth beneath you,

Releasing tension,

Tightness or discomfort.

Letting go of thoughts,

Worries or expectations.

Feeling supported by Mother Earth.

Feeling her presence and embrace as you lie down and allowing yourself to be supported by her.

Feeling the front of the body light and open,

Ready to receive.

Trusting the innate wisdom of the breath,

Carrying not only oxygen but also nourishment,

Love and healing to every cell in the body.

Breathing in,

Feeling the whole body breathing in.

Breathing out,

Feeling the whole body breathing out.

As you breathe in,

Feeling the breath traveling down from the legs and up to the heart,

Extending through the crown of the head,

The arms and the fingers.

As you breathe out,

Feeling the breath leaving the body,

Releasing and letting go.

Feeling the whole body breathing in and the whole body breathing out.

Bringing awareness to your feet.

Breathing in,

Feel your feet.

Breathing out,

Sending love and gratitude to your feet for allowing you to feel the earth and to anchor you.

For allowing you to walk in the direction you want to go.

For supporting and guiding you and your baby,

First as you carry your baby and later as you walk alongside them.

Feeling all the power and strength contained within your feet.

Breathing in and out through your feet,

Allowing them to relax deeply.

Bringing awareness to your legs.

Breathing in,

Feel your legs.

Breathing out,

Sending love and gratitude to your legs for supporting you on your journey,

For carrying the weight of your baby and allowing you to bear down and hold you as you gave birth.

For allowing you to run,

Swim,

Dance and play with your baby.

Breathing in,

Feeling the strength in your legs.

Breathing out,

Allowing your legs to relax deeply.

Bringing awareness to your pelvis.

Breathing in,

Feel your pelvis.

Breathing out,

Sending love and gratitude to your pelvis for creating and sustaining life,

For being your baby's first home,

For expanding and opening to allow your baby to land earth side.

Connecting to your room space,

Feeling the spaciousness contained within it,

The tenderness and power it holds as it slowly heals.

Creating your room for all that it is and for guiding your creative power in your life.

Breathing in and breathing out through your room space,

Allowing it to relax deeply.

Bringing awareness to your hands.

Breathing in,

Feel your hands.

Breathing out,

Sending love and gratitude to your hands for their healing energy,

For allowing you to hold and comfort your baby,

For providing you with the gift of touch,

For allowing you to express yourself and your creativity,

For connecting to others.

Breathing in,

Feel the extension of your love contained within your hands.

Breathing out,

Allowing your hands to relax deeply.

Bringing awareness to your arms.

Breathing in,

Feel your arms.

Breathing out,

Sending love and gratitude to your arms for all they allow you to do,

For their strength and tenderness,

For their ability to hold and protect,

To create and express,

To give and receive.

Breathing in and breathing out,

Allowing your arms to relax deeply.

Bringing awareness to your solar plexus,

The area located just below your sternum and above your navel.

Breathing in,

Feel your solar plexus.

Breathing out,

Sending love and gratitude to your center of confidence and empowerment,

Your ability to digest foods and life experiences.

Breathing in,

Feel your capacity to trust in yourself and your intuition as a mother.

Breathing out,

Feeling spaciousness and warmth radiating from your solar plexus outwards.

Breathing in and breathing out,

Deeply relaxing.

Bringing awareness to your heart.

Sending love and gratitude to your heart for sustaining you throughout your life,

For beating stronger and faster as you carried your baby and for opening to new depths as you became a mother.

An extension of your heart for nourishing your baby.

Breathing into your heart,

Feeling your capacity to care for and love yourself.

Breathing out,

Feeling love flowing through your whole body and outwards.

Bringing awareness to your eyes.

Breathing in,

Feel your eyes.

Breathing out,

Allow your eyes to rest.

Sending love and gratitude for all that your eyes allow you to see,

The beauty of the world,

The eyes of your child,

The spectrum of colors,

Words carrying knowledge and wisdom.

Allowing your eyes to rest and turning your gaze inward,

Softening and relaxing your forehead,

Your cheeks,

Your head,

Your brain.

Breathing in and breathing out,

Relaxing your whole face.

Relaxing your whole body,

Whole body breathing in,

Whole body breathing out.

Breathing in,

Feeling your own capacity for love and healing,

Radiating through your whole body.

Breathing out,

Letting go of fears,

Worries,

Expectations you may still be holding on to.

Feeling them leave your body and float away.

Fully letting go and surrendering into the present moment.

Enjoying your whole body relaxing,

Your mind calm and clear.

Whole body breathing in,

Whole body breathing out.

Remaining here for as long as you need.

When you feel ready,

You can slowly and mindfully bring your awareness back to your environment.

Closing your eyes softly,

Taking a few breaths lying onto one side before returning to a sitting position.
