Welcome to this meditation.
Within the next minutes we are going to nurture our chakras.
Make yourself comfortable either sitting or lying down.
When you are sitting keep the spine upright.
With the next inhalation close your eyes.
Draw your attention to this little spot in your face between your upper lip and your nose.
This small little channel.
Observe how it feels.
It is called philtrum.
Does it feel differently when you inhale?
Maybe you can feel cool air slightly touching the skin at your philtrum.
And how does it feel when you exhale?
Can you feel the muscles slightly relaxing?
Maybe you even feel the warmth of your breath when it leaves your body.
Just observe this little spot for a moment while your breath comes and goes.
And when your mind wanders that's ok.
Gently draw it back,
Your attention,
Towards your philtrum and observe how it feels while your breath comes and goes.
Now take the time to follow your breath on its journey.
Where in your body can you feel your inhalation?
Looking at your philtrum,
Up into your nostrils,
The back of your throat,
Your neck,
Your chest and maybe even your abdomen.
Where can you feel your breath travelling into your body?
And on its way back,
Where can you feel your breath leaving your body?
The muscles relax.
Can you feel your abdomen,
Your chest,
Your exhalation in the back of your throat,
In your nostrils and what about the philtrum?
Can you feel your exhalation at your philtrum as well?
Take some time to just observe.
And when your mind wanders,
Smile at it and gently bring your awareness back to the journey of your breath.
Now draw your attention to the base of your spine.
How does it feel that little spot?
It's the home of your root chakra,
Your foundation of life.
Its energy has the colour red,
Just like a beautiful red rose.
Imagine to touch the tender floral leaves of a red rose.
Bring it closer to your face and inhale the wonderful fragrance.
Gently inhale that fragrance and with the exhalation send it to the base of your spine.
Thus you nurture confidence and trust in life.
Take another breath,
Inhaling the fragrance of the red rose and send it to the base of your spine with the exhalation.
Now wander towards the little spot below your nave with your attention.
That is where we find the sacral chakra shining an orange.
Imagine holding an orange in your hands,
Feeling the structure of the skin.
Uneven.
In a way slightly rough but at the same time smooth somehow.
Bring the orange closer to your face and inhale the fragrance,
The mixture of sweet and sour that you inhale.
And with your exhalation send that fragrance towards the little spot below your nave.
Take another inhalation to enjoy the smell of the orange and with the exhalation send it down to that little spot under your belly button.
Thus you nurtured creativity.
Wander upwards with your attention to the little spot below the chest.
Your solar plexus chakra.
Its color is bright yellow like the beautiful floral leaves of a sunflower.
Hold its strong stock while you bring it closer to your face and inhale the pithy fragrance.
With your exhalation send that fragrance down to that spot below your chest.
Take your time for another inhalation of this beautiful smell of a sunflower and send the exhalation to that little spot right below your chest.
Now you have nurtured self-esteem and willpower.
Move further up with your attention right to the center of your chest.
How does it feel there around your heart chakra?
Its color is green.
And just like a beautiful meadow full of fresh green grass.
Inhale this beautiful smell of nature coming from all the grass around you.
Vital,
Full of green energy.
And send the smell towards the center of your chest with your exhalation.
Each blade of grass feels sticky within your hands and is slightly tickling when you cautiously rub them between the thumb and index finger.
Take another in-breath of the fragrance of grass and send the out-breath to the center of your chest.
Thus you nurture love and self-love.
Move your attention upwards to your throat chakra now.
Right in the center of your neck.
How does it feel there?
Its color is blue.
Deep blue.
Just like the ocean.
Inhale the fresh and salty air of the ocean and send it towards the center of your neck with your exhalation.
Clear,
Refreshing with that strong hint of salt.
The fragrance of the ocean that you inhale and send to the center of the neck.
This way you support yourself on the strength of speaking and communicating clearly.
Now draw your attention to the spot between the eyebrows.
The home of your third eye chakra.
Just a little tickling of the energy exchange between your third eye and the world around you.
It shines in the color of indigo just like some lavender does.
Imagine standing within a field of lavender,
Inhaling this beautiful intense smell.
Bloomish and at the same time a little bit pithy in a way.
Inhale the smell of lavender and with your exhalation send it to the spot between your eyebrows.
Let it spread up there with your exhalation.
Another inhalation of that beautiful indigo colored smell that you send to your third eye with the exhalation.
Thus you nurtured intuition and foresight.
Finally draw your attention to the top of your head,
To the very top of your physical being.
It is where you find your crown chakra shining in purple just like a ripe plum.
A plum that tastes juicy,
Sweet and slightly sour at the same time.
And when you move that plum closer to your nose you can smell that fruity fragrance.
Then you inhale and send it to the top of your head when you exhale.
Take another inhalation of that smell and send it to the top of your head with the exhalation.
Now you nurtured your divine connection and your higher consciousness.
All your seven chakras are nurtured.
Then just observe your breath,
How it comes and goes,
How it enters and leaves your body.
It is time to connect with your physical body again,
To come back to the presence.
Draw your attention towards your feet and move with your toes.
Draw the attention towards your hands and move your fingers.
Start to stretch and move slightly and when you feel ready gently open your eyes.
Thank you for meditating with me.
